Abstract: A back washing assembly includes a belt that is comprised of a fluid permeable material for washing a user's body. A plurality of pouches is each coupled to the belt to contain a piece of soap. Each of the pouches is comprised of a fluid permeable material release the soap on the user's body for bathing. A pair of handles is each of the handles is coupled to the belt for gripping. Each of the handles is positioned on opposite ends of the belt with respect to each other to facilitate the belt to be extended across the user's back for scrubbing the user's back. A hook is movably positioned on a respective one of the handles to engage a support for suspending the belt from the support for storage. The hook is attachable to the strap when the belt is rolled up for storing the belt.

Abstract: A towel and mitt combination having a towel and a mitt is disclosed. In one configuration, the towel and mitt combination includes a towel that includes a front fastener. The towel and mitt combination also includes a mitt that includes a mitt fastener. The mitt fastener is configured to be releasably secured to the front fastener. The mitt is configured to be operatively and removably connected to the towel via the mitt fastener and the front fastener, when the mitt fastener is releasably secured to the front fastener. In another configuration, the towel includes a tab which includes the front fastener. These and other embodiments foster a coherent towel and mitt combination that enables a user to fasten a mitt to a towel with great convenience and ease.

Abstract: A bathing towel with a low stretch and absorbent layer affixed to a central segment of a material that stretches several hundred percent axially. Each end of the stretchable layer has a loop to be used as a handle. By affixing the absorbent layer to the central section of the stretchable layer, the central section of the stretchable layer will not stretch and tends to remain flat during use washing the body.

Abstract: A head and neck restraining system includes a helmet, a neck brace structure, and a tether system. The neck brace structure includes a neck extension that is attached to shoulder extensions. The tether system includes a single tether with double thickness terminal ends. The double thickness terminal ends have a plurality of pass-through openings that are adapted to receive a removable securing pin that threadably secures the tether to the neck brace. The tether also secures the helmet to the neck brace and limits its range of motion during an accident. The tether is removable secured to the neck brace on one side then extends from the neck brace to the helmet, then continues from the helmet to the back of the neck brace, then continues further from the back of the neck brace to the opposite side of the helmet, and then is removable secured to the other side of the neck brace. The tether may be slidably or fixedly attached to the helmet and neck brace.

Abstract: An isometric-exercise towel for use in performing isometric exercises, including a layer of moisture-absorbent material having four corners, and a thick pile having moisture-wicking characteristics, a hand/foot-insertable aperture formed in each of the four corners of the isometric-exercise towel. The perimeter of each hand/foot-insertable aperture is reinforced with double stitching, and a reinforced stitching pattern is formed between pairs of hand/foot-insertable apertures formed on opposing ends of the isometric-exercise towel.

Abstract: A shower garment for providing scrubbing and privacy while showering includes a shell that is meshed so that the shell is configured to allow water to enter and to exit. The shell is flexible and has a bottom that is open. A pair of first holes is positioned in the shell proximate to a top of the shell. A second hole is positioned in the top of the shell between the first holes. The shell is configured to position a body of a user with a head and arms extending through the second hole and first holes, respectively. The shell covers a torso and a pelvic region of the user. A plurality of scrubbers that is selectively couplable to an inner surface of the shell is configured to scrub the user and to screen the user's breasts, genitals, and buttocks from viewing by persons proximate to the user.

The stretching apparatus includes a length of cloth having a first end and a second end with a first retaining member affixed at the first end of the length of cloth and having a fixed circumferential frame enclosing a first opening between the frame and the first end of the length of cloth, and the cloth having a second end with a second retaining member affixed at the second end of the length of cloth and having a fixed circumferential frame enclosing a second opening between the frame and the second end of the length of cloth.

Abstract: A central section formed of plural plies has upper and lower edges, first and second side edges, and a centerline parallel with and equally spaced from the upper and lower edges. Left and right straps are formed of plural plies. Each strap has parallel interior and exterior edges and parallel upper and lower edges. Strap stitching extends through the plural plies of each strap perpendicular to the upper and lower edges. Coupling stitching joins the each strap to the central section at a location equally spaced between the upper and lower edges of the central section.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for sanitizing a dispenser (20) is provided in which a sanitizing cup (10) is coupled to the dispenser after removing a nozzle (22). The sanitizing cup (10) is filled with a sanitizer, and flushed through a check valve (14). Flushing may be accomplished by dispensing water from the dispenser (20) while the sanitizing cup (10) is coupled to the dispenser (20).

Abstract: A towel for cleaning hard-to-reach human body areas during or after bathing. The towel comprises an elongated body comprising a front surface and a rear surface and at least one pocket disposed on each of the front surface and the rear surface, at opposing ends. The pocket is configured to receive at least a portion of a first hand of a user, and enables to clean hard-to-reach areas of the body by reaching with a finger tip of the first hand within the pocket. The towel further comprises a handle loop at a corner of the elongate body for receiving a second hand of the user. The towel when stretched by holding the pocket using the first hand and the handle loop using the second hand allows cleaning or drying a back region of the body.

Abstract: A head and neck restraining system is disclosed herein. The system includes a helmet, a neck brace structure, and a tether system. The neck brace structure includes a neck extension that is attached to shoulder extensions. The tether system includes at least one ring structure that is configured to attach to the helmet and a single tether material that slides through the at least one ring. The single tether material is guided along the neck extension and attached to the shoulder extensions. The at least one ring structure is positioned between the neck and shoulder extensions along the single tether material and splits the load on the helmet to the neck extension and the shoulder extension along to the single tether material created by exerted forces.

Abstract: A body care tool comprises a body interacting structure for interacting with a surface portion of the body. A handle is connected to the body interacting structure. The handle has a plurality of finger apertures disposed therein. Each finger aperture is designed for accommodating one finger of a user of the body care tool therein such that the user is enabled to handle the body interacting structure using two or more fingers inserted into the finger apertures.

Abstract: The invention is a device to dry/clean an animal, such as a dog, cat or child when they are wet or dirty. It consists of two mitts, each having one flat side, attached to opposite ends of a towel. The device is an improvement over a towel since it can better hold the animal or child during drying. Mitts fit on a person's hand. They offer more control but they lack the surface area to dry an animal completely. Combining a towel and two mitts creates a drying instrument which both controls an animal or child and provides an ample surface to dry/clean them. Making the mitts attachable and detachable adds flexibility to the drying device since you can use only the portion of the drying device you need.

Abstract: A unitary biodegradable, absorbent flexible back and body strap for selectively applying a protective substance and a skin-protective agent to a user's body, the strap having an elongated thin parallelepiped midportion, a biconcave first gripping end, and an opposite biconcave second gripping end, each end having a tip narrower in width than the midportion. The midportion is impregnated with a protective substance, which may be a body lotion, sunscreen, insect repellant, or a combination of sunscreen and insect repellant. At least one protective agent layer may be disposed on a midportion top side, which contains a skin-protective agent. The user alternatingly pulls the first gripping end and the second end from side to side across the desired body portion to selectively apply the protective substance and the skin-protective agent discards the strap whereinafter the strap biodegrades.

The surface cleaner comprises a cleaner body with a lid, a hand gripping post and a thumb rest, The cleaning may be performed by a pad attached to the bottom of the cleaner body. Alternatively a sheet, such as a cloth or a paper towel, folded into the inside of the surface cleaner may be used. To hold the surface cleaner, the hand gripping post is inserted between the middle and ring fingers and the thumb is rested on the thumb rest.

Abstract: Personal hygiene devices designed to aid physically impaired persons to clean their own recto-genital area following urination, defecation, menstruation, or sweating. The devices include an elongated flexible strip made from one or two elongated individual sheets affixed together and of a length sufficient to extend between the user's legs and of a width sufficient to generally cover the recto-genital area. The strip has an absorbent middle portion for engaging the user's recto-genital area and respective dependent end portions having respective thumb holes therethrough for easy gripping in-hand. An absorbent pad is positioned at the middle portion retained by the individual sheets to increase the absorbency thereof. The device is used by gripping the end portions in-hand optionally using the thumb holes with the middle portion extending between the user's legs.

Abstract: A disposable sanitation device for cleaning an anal region is disclosed. The device includes a double ended band and a quantity of wiping paper wrapped around a section of the band. The band is held at each end and moved across the anal region, thereby removing any fecal matter from the anal region. The device can also include a bag of sufficient size to contain the sanitation device when the device is not in use.

Abstract: A two-sided cloth used for bathing or washing that has an exfoliating mesh nylon netting material on one side of the cloth. The other side of the cloth is the bathing cloth material that allows the individual to thoroughly cleanse the entire body. The cloth also has ropes or a string like devices on the corners of the cloth or anywhere on the cloth used as handles to make it easy for the individual to clean and exfoliate their back. This invention is used to bathe the skin and to deliver a soapy lather as well as exfoliating the skin. The soap is rubbed onto the cloth and the lather is created and is then spread through out the cloth.

Abstract: A cleaning swab is for wet or dry use. The swab includes an elongated handle defining a longitudinal axis. The handle has a cleaning head end and a grasping end. The swab includes a multi layer cleaning head having a core, a mid-layer and an outer layer. The core and the mid-layer are absorbent. The outer layer is formed from a cleaning textile. The outer layer is sealed to itself and to the handle to isolate the core and mid-layer.

Abstract: A belted applicator for applying a lotion substance, and more particularly a lotion applicator having a retractable belt in a handled configuration that lends to the easy use of the device. The belted applicator includes two handled housing bodies interconnected by a belt. The belted applicator may also include disposable belt cartridges, which include a lotion, or any other substance applied with the belted device. The lotion may be a liquid, a gel, or a powder in a medicinal, massage, moisturizer insect repellent or sunscreen formulation. The belted applicator has leak resistant features that also reduce dripping of lotion from the belt. The belt may feed in sequence, when depleted, with the depleted portion of the belt removed by the user. The belted applicator may also include two interlocked portions that serve to seal the belt within and communicate lotion between the two interlocked portions.

Abstract: The fabric lotion applicator permits a user to apply a lotion to remote areas of the user's body. The applicator may be provided in a kit which includes a fabric lotion applicator, a carrying pouch, and a lotion bottle. The fabric lotion applicator includes a generally rectangular main body and two handles attached to a first and second end of the main body. A button is provided on a first side of the main body and a flexible loop is attached to the first end of the main body. The lotion applicator may be easily folded into a compact size and releasably held in that configuration by engagement of the button and the loop member. The pouch is configured to carry the fabric lotion applicator and the lotion bottle within a pouch cavity.

Abstract: The skin cleaning method employs a skin cleaning aid knitted from an acrylic yarn using a garter stitch. The garter stitch creates surfaces with ridges and voids that pass through the cleaning aid. A cleanser and water form a lather that fills some of the voids. When using the skin cleaner, abrasive acrylic fibers scrape lather and dead skin cells from the skin and deliver the lather and dead skin cells to an adjacent void. Additional lather is applied to the skin that was scraped by an acrylic fiber.

Abstract: A soft soothing bath scrub is formed of a scrubbing layer, such as a a sponge layer, and a wash cloth layer. A stabilizing layer may be interposed, preferably by first attaching it to the underside of the sponge layer, and attaching the sponge layer to the wash cloth layer by intermittent fastening such as by stitches, through the wash cloth layer and into side edge of the sponge layer.

Abstract: The invention discloses a self-treatment body care apparatus that can be manipulated easily to reach the back of the user. The frame can be enlarged or collapsed. Additionally, the apparatus of the invention has a base which (1) allows the invention which is a frame to stand upright, (2) provides interchanging applicators and massaging devices for a variety of applications, and (3) can be used as a foot massager or scrubber while the user is seated or standing.

Abstract: A lotion applicator includes an elongated, substantially planar strip constructed with a pliable, non-absorbent foam material. Adjacent each end of the strip is an aperture for receiving a user's finger or thumb. A user can apply lotions, ointments and similar viscous substances to otherwise inaccessible areas of the user's body by placing the viscous substance onto the strip. A user then grasps the strip by inserting a thumb or finger from each hand into each of the apertures. The user can then easily maneuver the strip across the back or other hard to reach locations of the user's body.

The body washer device includes a plurality of body washing members which are selected from a group consisting of netting, sponges such as loofah, buffing pads, and exfoliated fabric, and also includes either a mat or an elongate member having curved ends which support the body washing members; and further includes suction cup members for attaching to a structure such as a shower wall or a bathtub floor.

Abstract: A flexible hand holdable cloth for washing a user's body with the cloth including a first handle to provide a first finger grasping region thereon and a second extendible handle having a contracted condition wherein the second handle is maintained proximate the flexible cloth so that the second handle does not interfere with the use of the flexible cloth as a hand holdable body cloth and an extended condition to enable a user to grasp and extend the second handle while holding onto the first handle to enable the user to rub the flexible cloth on the user's back with a back and forth motion. The extendible handle is further usable to retain the cloth in a display or storage condition by contracting the handle around the cloth when the cloth is in a rolled condition.

The body includes a first plurality of threads that are flexible nylon, parallel to, and spaced-apart from, each other, and run longitudinally along the length thereof, and a second plurality of threads that are flexible nylon, parallel to, and spaced-apart, from each other, and run laterally around the width thereof.

Abstract: A rigging cable cleaning device primarily, although not exclusively, adapted for use on sailboat rigging cables, such as main sail cables, lanyard cables, and the like. The rigging cable cleaning device comprises an outer flexible fabric cover and an inner cleaning pad which can be folded or wrapped about a sailboat rigging cable. Holes with grommets are located on the ends of the outer fabric cover for receiving a releasable locking mechanism to thereby hold the cable cleaning device on a rigging cable. In this way, the device can be physically moved up and down or along the cable for cleaning same. The cleaning pad is removably attached to the inner surface of the fabric cover so that one type of cleaning pad can be substituted for another.

Abstract: A bath scrubber mainly includes a front nylon piece and a back piece that are sewed up to form a bag defining a unitary inner space for accommodating a plurality of massage balls therein. Restricting means are provided on the back piece and the front nylon piece at positions between any four adjacent massage balls. The restricting means divide the unitary inner space defined by the bag of the bath scrubber into several smaller spaces that each confines a massage ball therein but allows the massage ball to freely and smoothly rotate when the bath scrubber is moved on a user's skin to and fro for cleansing purpose. The bath scrubber with massage balls restricted in separated small spaces can therefore not only hold more bubbles to achieve enhanced cleaning effect but also provide good massage effect.

Each of the groups of bundles of bristles comprises a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns of bristle bundles, where the rows aligned parallel to the longitudinal axis of the brush head portion, and the columns are aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the brush head portion.

Abstract: An oral hygiene device comprises a rotating body 22 mounted to a rotating shaft 21 of an electric motor 14, an output shaft 11 resiliently supported via a resonance pin 25 to be swingable finely, a drive magnetic body 23 provided on the rotating body 22, and a driven magnetic body 31 provided on the output shaft 11 to face the drive magnetic body 23 so as to be out of contact therewith. The drive magnetic body 23 and the driven magnetic body 31 are composed of permanent magnets, and as the rotating body 22 revolves, a varying magnetic field is generated between the both magnetic bodies 23, 31 to cause vibration of the output shaft 11 at high speed. In this manner, there are provided a vibration generating device, which can be manufactured at low cost and efficiently transmits vibration, and an oral hygiene device using the same.

Abstract: A compact applicator (2) for facilitating application of a desired medication, fluid, liquid, lotion, cream, etc. to a desired portion or area of a body of a user. The compact applicator (2) has a pair of opposed handles (12), secured to remote ends (8, 10) thereof which facilitate a rubbing, wiping or application action of the compact applicator (2). A first surface (16) of the compact applicator (2) includes an applicator member (14), e.g. a sponge, which secured thereto by a meshed material. The applicator member (14) receives the desired fluid to be applied and the handles (12) facilitate a wiping or rubbing action of the compact applicator (2) on a desired part of the body, especially the back. The second surface (22) of the applicator member (14) is formed from an absorbent material to facilitate wiping off any excess applied fluid or removing the remaining applied fluid following use.
