  • Patent number: 11363934
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a segmented rotary floor stripping pad having a plurality of symmetrical, polygonal pad segments secured together in partially overlapping relation to form an annular pad. The segments are preferably formed from non-woven polyester fibers and are secured radially along the overlapping, adjacent side edges by hot melt glue, ultrasonic welding or by stitching. There is no backing pad, and since the segments are symmetrical, the pad is reversible so that both sides can be used. The plurality of pad segments are secured together in an overlapping manner such that each pad segment presents an angled leading cutting edge and each pair of adjacent pad segments forms a radial fluid channel. Depending on the degree of overlap and the thickness of the pad segment, the presentation angle of the cutting edge can be varied.

  • Patent number: 10933510
Abstract: The abrasive unit contains a carrying disc (A) with a hub (1) set off in the central zone, having a coaxial hole (2) reinforced with a steel flange sleeve (3) for mounting the abrasive unit on the spindle of the angular hand grinder. The lower edges of numerous abrasive flaps (B) are fixed with glue binders (5) on the ring surface of the near-edge zone (4), the abrasive flaps subsequently overlapping one another in the circumferential direction so that their rear edges are exposed. The wheel of the carrying disc (A) is a layered polymer composite with reinforcement consisting of at least two meshes of glass fibre situated on both frontal surfaces of the carrying disc (A).

  • Patent number: 10758946
Abstract: A cleaning brush comprising a carrier and a cleaning unit is provided. The cleaning unit comprises a plurality of cleaning beans set on a surface of the carrier in a spiral arrangement. A spiral coiling around the carrier from an end of the carrier to the other end is formed. A spiral curve path is formed to coil the carrier circumferentially by extendedly arranging the cleaning beans. Hence, the present invention uses the cleaning beans of the cleaning unit to be set on surface of the carrier. On rotating in a fixed direction, the spiral cleaning unit generates a flow field which not only comprises a vertical flow for an object to be cleaned but also a horizontal flow forming a parallel stream. Thus, dirt can be removed more easily than by using a traditional matrix cleaning device.

  • Patent number: 8348727
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an airflow generation and particle dispersion arrangement for a power tool (e.g., an angle grinder). The arrangement includes a motor, an airflow generation assembly, and a particle dispersion assembly. The airflow generation assembly includes a fan driven by the motor. When engaged, the driven fan generates an airstream that is drawn through the power tool. The particle dispersion assembly includes a passive fan that is not driven by the motor, but instead is driven by the airstream. In operation, the passive fan generates centrifugal and mechanical forces sufficient to remove particles from intake air passing through the particle dispersion assembly.

  • Patent number: 7252581
Abstract: It is accordingly an object of the invention to provide a technique of cooling a power tool which further improves cooling effectiveness of the power tool. According to the invention, a power tool is provided that includes a driving motor, a tool bit, a power transmitting mechanism, a tool body and a cooling fan. The power tool further includes first and second cooling air passages. The first cooling air passage is disposed within the tool body and flows cooling air into the tool body by using the cooling fan. The second cooling air passage is provided within the tool body and takes outside air into the tool body by using the flow of the cooling air through the first cooling air passage. The cooling air within the first cooling air passage can be cooled by mixing outside air taken into the tool body via the second cooling air passage and therefore, the cooling air can further effectively cool components within the power tool. As a result, cooling effectiveness of the power tool can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6295687
Abstract: An assembly of buff or brush wheels with or without spacers is stacked, compressed, and held together as an integrated unit to form an assembly of such wheels having a specified face width which then may be mounted as a unit on a machine arbor or drive shaft. The assembly is held together in such a manner that the ganged stack is yieldable and may be further compressed when assembled on the machine arbor. The assembly may also be slightly expanded to obtain a better fit on the machine. The wheel assembly in one form is held at the desired face width by adjustable ties extending through paired holes in core plates in the wheels. In another embodiment carriage bolts extending through the core plates form adjustable screw clamps.
