Abstract: A cleaning apparatus and related system is disclosed where the cleaning apparatus includes a one or more grabber that is actuated by a one or more slider such that the cleaning apparatus is moveable between a closed position and an open position. By moving the cleaning apparatus into the open position, a user is able to place the apparatus over a pad. Moving the apparatus into a closed position while over the pad causes the grabber to pinch the pad to the base, thereby securing it to the apparatus. When the user wishes to discard the pad, the apparatus is moved from the closed position to the open position, releasing the pad.

Abstract: A mop tool incorporating a resilient deformable polymer mop head adapted to operatively connect to an elongated handle. The mop head has a concave lower face for positioning in opposing relation to a disposable cleaning element. Hooking elements project downwardly away from the lower face for operative engagement with the disposable cleaning element. The concave lower face defines a resilient collapsible arch having an apex substantially at the center of the mop head.

Abstract: A cleaning device for use with a cleaning fabric is provided. The device includes a plate, a connection member, a plurality of fingers, a wiper assembly, and a grip. The plate has a first side and a second side. The connection member retains the cleaning fabric to the plate. The fingers depend from the first side and provide a gap between the first side and the cleaning fabric during use. The wiper assembly has at least one elongated wiper blade that divides the fingers into a front section and a rear section. The grip depends from the second side.

Abstract: A cleanroom mop for cleaning all critical surfaces within a cleanroom. The cleanroom mop includes a mop head frame with at least one hollow area within the mop head frame that is accessible by at least one opening located on the top of the mop head frame, a handle attached to the mop head frame, and a mop head that is attachable to the mop head frame which has opposing sides and at least one snap fastener on each of the opposing sides where the snap fasteners can be snapped together to connect the opposing sides of the mop head.

Abstract: To provide a cleaning tool exhibiting excellent cleaning effectiveness. The present invention relates to a cleaning tool comprising a cleaning sheet, and a holding tool for holding said cleaning sheet. The cleaning sheet is provided with: a brush part capable of cleaning an object to be cleaned; a base part; and insertion parts for the holding tool. The brush part is configured from a fiber, and is provided with first brush regions and second brush regions. The second brush regions are provided with protruded regions configured so as to be longer than the first brush regions.

A user grasps the sanding tool by the handle and moves the sandpaper against an object to sand the object. The clips each comprise a wire armature that traps an end of the sandpaper between a plate and a handle block. The wire armature passes through and hinges at the handle block. The ends of the wire armature are coupled to the plate. The wire armature extends towards the center of the block on one side and forms a loop. The position of the loop may be changed to release or retain the sandpaper within the clip. The loop may be retained by a knurled screw into a platform on the block.

The mop frames include a central body portion, a top surface, a bottom surface, opposed side edges, and opposed front and rear edges. The mop frame may also include at least one retaining structure configured to releasably attach a cleaning fabric proximate to or adjacent to at least the bottom surface of the mop frame. Cleaning implements including a mop frame, a yoke assembly, and a multi-pivoting hinge attached to and connecting the mop frame and the yoke assemble are also provided. The multi-pivoting hinge being configured to allow the yoke assembly to selectively swing from a top surface to a bottom surface of the mop frame or vice versa.

Abstract: A wall trim finishing apparatus includes a base member having a bottom surface. The bottom surface is configured to mate with, and apply relatively even force to, at least one curve or crevice of a front surface of a piece of wall trim. The bottom surface may be configured to receive a piece of sandpaper or absorbent material between the bottom surface of the base member and the front surface of the wall trim. Sandpaper coupled to the bottom surface of the base member creates a sanding apparatus. The bottom surface may be divided into a first portion and a second portion by a channel defined therebetween that is configured to accumulate sanding residue generated when the bottom surface is mated to and moved along the front surface of the wall trim. Sand paper is adhesively adhered to both portions.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for cleaning an optical fiber connector, which includes a case, a tape collecting gear, a tape releasing gear, an operating portion, and a cleaning socket disposed on the case. The tape collecting gear and the tape releasing gear are rotatably accommodated in the case in sequence. The cleaning socket is located at a position between the tape collecting gear and the tape releasing gear. The operating portion includes a push rod, and an elastomer, a stop block, a sliding plate, and a toggling member that are installed in the case. In the case, one end of the sliding plate is connected to the push rod in the case and the other end shields the cleaning socket, the elastomer abuts between the stop block and the push rod.

Abstract: Multi-function worker's tools are disclosed that provide at least the dual functionality of a sander and a scraper/cutter. In one aspect, a multi-function worker's tool includes a body member configured to retain a length of sandpaper in a deployable configuration. The body member includes at least first and second adjoined, planar surfaces, wherein the first surface is configured for sanding in cooperation with said sandpaper, and the second surface is configured to secure said sandpaper in place. The worker's tool further includes a blade having one or more working surfaces disposed on the second surface for providing a selectable cutting or scraping working surface.

Abstract: A sanding tool for holding sandpaper or other abrasive sheet material. The tool consists of a base unit with a flat sanding surface and two outwardly sloping end walls, and a block unit with an arcuate sanding surface having outwardly sloping end walls that slope to a lesser degree than the slope of the base unit end walls. A strip of sandpaper is placed on either sanding surface, and the block unit is then firmly inserted into the base unit. As the block unit is pressed firmly into the base unit, the ends of the sandpaper strip are wedged securely between the sloped ends of the block unit and the sloped inner surfaces of the end walls of the base unit wherein the sloped ends of the block unit impinge on the sloped end walls of the base unit with the ends of the sandpaper strip compressed tightly therebetween.

Abstract: A device for cleaning surfaces is disclosed, comprising; a housing having a handle on one end and a cleaning head on the other end the cleaning head having an upper surface, a lower surface, a perimeter edge and a magnetic means. The magnetic means is removably attached to the cleaning head and provides a magnetic field to its lower surface. There is at least one attachment means provided on the upper surface or the perimeter for securing a cleaning sheet over the lower surface of the cleaning head.

The lip and proximate edge of the sole plate are in spaced in relationship to each other. The proper spacing between the portion of the housing with the beater and sole plate holding the sheet, provides for improved dual mode cleaning performance. The cleaning system may be used to clean hard surfaces, such as a floor.

Abstract: The invention relates to a flat wiping cloth (3) to be arranged on a wiping cloth holder (1), comprising an elongate basic body (4), wherein an active substance that inhibits or suppresses the growth of bacteria and/or viruses is associated with the basic body (4), wherein fibres (5), yarns (6) or fringes (7) are associated with the basic body (4) and wherein the active substance is distributed within the material from which the fibres (5), yarns (6) or fringes (7) are produced and/or in a component of the basic body (4). The aim of the invention is to configure and modify a flat wiping cloth of the aforementioned type in such a way that the antimicrobially effective active substance remains in the flat wiping cloth as long as possible, wherein the flat wiping cloth picks up dirt particularly quickly from moist surfaces. To achieve said aim, the invention is characterised in that the fibres (5), yarns (6) or fringes (7) have a free end that can be turned towards the area to be cleaned.

Abstract: A cleaning system. The system has a floor cleaning device, disposable floor sheet removably attachable to the device and a rotatable beater bar. The device has a single wheel, and moves on the target surface by rolling action of the wheel and gliding of the floor sheet. This arrangement, not having multiple wheels, provides enhanced maneuverability, and improves cleaning performance. The cleaning system may be used to clean hard surfaces, such as a floor.

Abstract: A surface cleaning device is an apparatus that is used to apply a cleaning solution to a sullied surface prior to cleaning the surface. The apparatus features a main hollow body with a first open end and a second open end. A fluid dispenser is mounted into the first open end and a removably attached cleaning pad holder is attached into the second open end. The holder comprises a plug and a base plate. The dispenser utilizes a user-actuated foam pump mechanism to dispense cleaning solution from the fluid dispenser. Cleaning solution may be poured into the main hollow body by removing the holder to expose the second open end. The holder features hook fasteners that are utilized to secure a cleaning pad in place. The cleaning pad is removably attachable to the hook fasteners and features two surfaces including an absorbent surface and an abrasive surface.

Abstract: Cleaning devices which use cleaning sheets affixed in traps are disclosed. The traps comprise first and second jaws, each comprising base and forward portions, each forward position having a forward surface. The forward portion of the second jaw is flexible in at least a first direction, such as towards a surface over which the device is configured to move. When the second jaw is relaxed, the forward portion of the second jaw is substantially coplanar with the forward portion of the first jaw and the forward surfaces are proximate or touching. When the second jaw is flexed in the first direction (e.g., by the application of a force from a user), the forward surface of the forward portion of the second jaw moves in the first direction, away from the forward surface of the first jaw. This opens a gap through which a portion of a sheet may be inserted.

Abstract: A mop head and handle combination includes a block of substantially rigid foam material with a cylindrically shaped cavity in the interior that extends the length thereof. An elongated slot in said top wall extends downwardly and communicates with the cavity. The width of the slot is less than the diameter of the cavity. The handle includes a vertical pole with a horizontal bar connected to the bottom end forming a T configuration. The handle can be connected to the mop head by aligning the bar with the slot and pushing down on the pole to force the bar through the slot and into the cavity. The portions of the block around the slot flex out of the way to allow the bar to pass therethrough and then flex back to their normal position to maintain the bar in place within the cavity.

The device contains a gripping head constructed of a flexible material and contains a gripping element, which may hold a wipe within it. The device also contains a rigid housing, and a pump at the opposite end of the gripping head, such that upon actuation of the pump increased fluid pressure inside the gripping head opens the internal grips to an extent that any wipe held therein will be released. In an embodiment of the invention, the housing contains a hinge so the unit may be folded for storage, or extended and locked in place for use.

When the folding member is swung to overlap the stationary member, the dusting sleeve becomes folded, and the duster is shortened. Thus, the foldable duster provides convenience of use.
