Abstract: A lint brush includes a housing and a lint tool having a lint-removing material. The lint tool is movable along a longitudinal axis of the housing between a stowed position where the lint tool is housed in the housing and a deployed position where the lint tool is extended from the housing. The lint tool is rotatable relative to the longitudinal axis from the deployed position to a first rotated position. An actuator is mounted to one of the housing and the lint tool. The actuator is configured to move the lint tool from the first rotated position back to the deployed position.

Abstract: A hand-driven mechanical screwdriver includes a holding assembly, a drive mechanism supported by the holding assembly, and a working element. The holding assembly includes a bracket and a sliding channel defined in the bracket. The drive mechanism includes a connecting element and a screw rod threadably engaged within the connecting element. An activator is rotatably connected to the connecting element and slidably positioned within the holding assembly bracket sliding channel. The working element is attached to the second end of the screw rod. When the activator is slid along the sliding channel, the connecting element moves from near the second end of the bracket towards the first end of the bracket rotating the threadably engaged screw rod and the working element attached to the screw rod.

Abstract: A USB connector cleaner for cleaning conductive pins received in a recess of a USB connector is provided. The USB connector cleaner includes a base, a cleaning head, and a driving member. The cleaning head is configured for inserting into the recess to clean the conductive pins. The cleaning head includes a supporting member fixed on the base and a cleaning brush rotatably connected to the supporting member. The driving member is slidably connected to the base for driving the cleaning brush to cleaning the conductive pins.

Abstract: A spin mop includes a spiral drive mechanism and a mop head. The spiral drive mechanism includes an upper rod, a sleeve axially secured on the upper rod, a stopper secured in the sleeve, two thread rolling plates positioned in the upper rod, a guide block, a lower rod axially inserted in the upper rod, and a follower secured on a top end of the lower rod. The guide block is placed in between the two thread rolling plates so that the guide block is movable in a spiral direction with respect to the upper rod. The follower is configured to be selectively driven by the guide block so that the follower together with the lower rod is rotatable with the guide block.

Abstract: The present invention is a ceiling fan cleaning apparatus comprising a roller cleaner (20) enveloping a central hub (22) and rotatable with respect to the central hub (22), the central hub (22) attached at one end to an elongated member (10), and a first pulley (32) connected fixedly to one end of the roller cleaner (20) and such that rotation of the first pulley (32) causes an equal rotation of the roller cleaner (20), and a second pulley (34) located close to a second end of the elongated member (10) and a chain (36) connecting the first and second pulleys (32, 34). A hand crank (38) is connected to the second pulley (34) so that a user is able to rotate the roller cleaner (20) by turning the hand crank (38).

Abstract: An electrical mascara brush structure includes a brush body having a chamber to hold an electrical motion component at one end and a brush rod with a brush at the other end. The electrical motion component includes a first shell and a second shell fully enclosing a power supply, a motor with a rotating shaft, and a circuit board. The circuit board includes a power control element and a variable speed control element. The electrical motion component is connected with a rotary unit disposed at the external of the first shell and the second shell. The rotary unit includes external teeth which matches with receiving teeth disposed at an interior of a handle, which can activate the electrical motion component and adjust the speed of the motor.

Abstract: A powered hand held drain cleaning tool and method of operation, including a stick tool member with a brush or teeth on a first end, a hex engagement portion on a second end and an elongate, non-uniform, shaft portion extending between the first and second ends. The tool includes a body portion for housing a power supply, a motor for rotating a drive mechanism engaged with the hex engagement portion of the stick tool member, and a trigger switch mechanism for operation of the tool by a user. The body is also engaged with a face piece with an opening for receiving the stick tool member therethrough, and pin members for mating and locking engagement with locking grooves formed in the body portion.

Abstract: An appliance for personal use such as a toothbrush, an oral irrigator, a shaver, or a kitchen machine, with a driving mechanism constructed as an electric motor and a control stage that supplies energy to the electric motor. When the electric motor is off, the control stage supplies the electric motor with energy adapted in terms of duration and/or amplitude. The electric motor, when off and in its capacity as an electroacoustic transducer, emits at least part of that energy in the form of audible signals.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner accessory that is used in cleaning heat exchanger units for heating and cooling machinery, wherein the invention comprises of a wand-like body forming an interior that is continuously connected at a rear open end with a vacuum source and at a front open end has an aperture which allows the interior of the device to meet the exterior environment. The unattached front open end has at least one prong-like extension upon which a brush is movably attached and is held in close proximity to the aperture. In operation, the vacuum source is applied to the device and the brush of the device is applied to and rolled over the surface of the heat exchanger unit to be cleaned. The rolling action of the brush agitates and removes particulate matter that has settled upon and coated the surface of the heat exchanger unit.

Abstract: This invention provides a mascara and a like cosmetics application onto the eyelashes. An improved electrically driven hand-held device for eyelash mascara application includes a mascara container coupled with the brush handle, including a power supply electrically connected through the electrical switch to the reversible motor, the shaft of which is coupled by a connecting means with the rod of the brush, and wherein the reversible motor provides the rotation of the brush with the mascara onto it during engagement with the eyelashes.

Abstract: An axis rotary toothbrush is provided and consists of an elongated shaft having a distal portion rotatably positioned within a handle so that a proximal portion of the shaft will extend outwardly therefrom. A bristle head is formed about the free end of the proximal portion of the shaft while a ferrule is affixed onto the proximal portion of the shaft adjacent the handle. The index finger and thumb of a hand gripping the handle can manually rotate the ferrule to turn the shaft and the bristle head in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction about the axis of the shaft in order for the bristle head to brush the teeth.

Abstract: A roller for cleaning surfaces includes a handle for holding the roller. A connecting rod is coupled to the handle. A roller cover made at least in part of a material suitable for applying a cleaning solvent to a surface when the roller cover is rolled along the surface is included. A roller frame supports the roller cover and is rotatably mounted to a segment of the connecting rod so that the roller frame can rotate about the section of the connecting rod. A seal is provided for substantially sealing between the roller cover and the roller frame so that passage of fluid to the inside of the roller cover is substantially prevented so that passage of particles from the inside of the roller cover is substantially prevented. A catch is provided between the roller frame and the section of the connecting rod and interior to the roller cover for allowing rotation of the roller frame in one direction only.

Abstract: A cleaning tool for cleaning the exterior of tubular members comprising a tubular body having a longitudinal axis along which a central cavity extends with an open end and a closed end at opposite ends of the longitudinal axis. The side walls of the tubular body have a pair of diametrically opposed slots extending from the open end to the closed end. A spindle mounted to the closed end of the tubular body is used for mounting the cleaning tool to a rotatable drive. Brushes adapted for engagement with the opposed slots to prevent rotation are inserted into the tubular body which is then fitted over the tubular member to be cleaned.

Abstract: A brush (10) is provided. The brush (10) includes a housing (12) which includes an aperture (28). Bristles (42) are mounted within the housing (12) and extend through the aperture (28). A cover (50) is provided and includes an aperture (52). Cover (50) is slidably mounted to the housing (12) and housing (12) is selectively rotatable within the cover (50). Housing (12) is rotatable to a first position exposing bristles (42) through the aperture (52) of the cover (50) for use of the brush (10). Housing (12) is rotatable to a second position for covering the aperture (28) and the bristles (42) when the brush (10) is not in use.

Abstract: A rotary brush or other rotary implement constructed in accordance with the instant invention includes a first fixed handle means and a second movable handle means hinged to the fixed handle and operable by squeezing. The brush head to be rotated is mounted on an elongated rod which extends through the handle portion. The movable handle carries a rack which engages a pinion gear carried on the rod for rotating the brush. The pinion gear includes internally disposed alternately selectable ratchet portions which upon selection by the user cause the brush head to rotate in a first and only a first direction upon a squeezing of the handle. Upon user adjustment, the brush will rotate in the second and only the second direction upon the squeezing of the handle. The rotation mechanism of the brush is completely enclosed within the handle portion.
