  • Patent number: 8918948
Abstract: The wiper device for removing foreign substances that are stuck on a windshield can include: a lever assembly, having a plurality of levers in a tournament type coupled thereto; a contact member, being supported by the lever assembly and formed in the shape of a blade in close contact with the windshield so as to wipe out the foreign substances; and a cover member, provided in a plurality, each being coupled to the lever connecting a corresponding joint of the lever assembly. Accordingly, the parts of the lever assembly having the multi joint structure are effectively covered by the plurality of cover members, allowing for a simple appearance, and since each cover member is coupled with a corresponding lever and moves with the corresponding lever in an integrated manner, it becomes possible to prevent the levers from being exposed to an outside even while the wiper device is activated.

  • Patent number: 8544139
Abstract: A windshield wiper blade structure includes a support strip, a wiper strip disposed below the support strip, two flexible strips set on two sides of the wiper strip, a set of clamping elements downward extended through holes formed on the support strip to clamp the support strip, the flexible strips and the wiper strip together, two wind deflector strips disposed on a top of the support strip, two elastic locking elements each including two elastic arms separately fitted near two opposite ends of the support strip, and two end caps detachably connected to the two ends of the support strip and each internally provided with two notches engaged with the elastic arms. By compressing the elastic arms toward each other to disengage them from the notches, the end caps can be removed from the support strip to allow replacement of the wiper strip with a new one.

  • Patent number: 6311363
Abstract: A wiper blade for cleaning windows of motor vehicles has a support bracket system having retaining claws disposed on claw brackets. The retaining claws grip a head strip of a wiper strip of an elastic material which is fixed longitudinally with a securing body shaped from sheet metal. The securing body is solidly joined to the wiper strip and engages the retaining claw from behind at least with a hook in the form of a snap connection disposed on one wiper arm. The hook is shaped by bending or swaging of the arm and is adjoined in the assembly direction by a guide face.

  • Patent number: 6253412
Abstract: The invention concerns a wiper or an exchange kit for a wiper for a windshield wiper installation for the cleaning of a windshield of a vehicle with a wiper blade that is retained on an oblong retaining structure by means of retaining claws of the retaining structure gripping the head strip of the wiper blade from the top and engaging in longitudinal grooves that are formed on opposite longitudinal sides of the head strip. An end bracket that is attached to one end of the head strip retains the wiper blade longitudinally on the retaining structure such that it cannot inadvertently get lost, while a snap-arm that is part of the end bracket traverses the correlated end claw of the retaining structure and snaps into place behind the interior front side of the end claw by means of a snap element. In order to make the exchange of a wiper blade easier, the snap-arm of the end bracket has an essentially oblong flat shape and extends flush along one longitudinal side of the head strip that is part of the wiper blade.
