Abstract: An ottoman includes a support base, a reversible footrest that is removably supported in the support base and houses an electrically powered massager, and a compression band that is attached to the reversible footrest and extends over a top or bottom side of the reversible footrest, with the compression band being configured to compress a foot or feet of a user between the compression band and the reversible footrest. The reversible footrest has a first orientation in which the compression band is exposed outside the support base and a second orientation in which the compression band is stowed in the support base. The electrically powered massager is operable when the reversible footrest is in both the first orientation and in the second orientation.
Abstract: A shoe container stool with a deployable footrest is described herein. The shoe container is in the form of a box having a front wall, a back wall, two side walls, and a top lid. The front wall includes a vertical elongated opening bounded by two side edges and a bottom edge. An elongated board is pivotally connected to the opening by way of an axle to permit the board to be pivoted into and out of the opening. A top portion of the board above the axle may therefore be deployed from the opening to be used as a footrest to help don and doff one's shoes, while the top lid may be used as a seat. The shoe container further includes a shelf inside the box to counter the forces applied to the footrest and also permits a user to store one's shoe inside the shoe container.
Abstract: An enclosure for the storage of shoes includes a pair of spaced-apart, generally opposing end walls. A projection is carried by each of the end walls, each projection is dimensioned and configured to be inserted into the interior of one of a pair of shoes to temporarily secure the shoe in a fixed position relative to the end wall. A bottom extends between the end walls, and includes a removable tray to catch debris falling from the shoes.
Abstract: A space saving convertible seat and chest of drawers apparatus having a first chair superimposable inverted onto a second chair wherein a seat of the first chair nestles into a seat of the second chair when said first chair is inverted, a back of the first chair fits flush overlying a front apron of the second chair, and a front apron of the first chair nestles flush into a back of the second chair, each back of the first and second chairs thereby formative of respective sides of a chest of drawers, each of said first and second chairs having a slidable drawer disposed in position underneath each seat thereof, whereby the first and second chairs are arrangeable as a set of two chairs or as a single chest of drawers.
Abstract: A cushion structure for a motor vehicle seat including a retractable stop piece capable of preventing an object placed under the cushion from moving towards the front, and means capable of arranging said cushion in a position preventing a passenger from sitting on it.

Abstract: A shoe last and a device for detachably mounting the last on a vertical surface that firmly supports the last permitting a user to conveniently polish a shoe mounted on the last. A knob is mounted on the heel section of the last that provides a grip when it is desired to withdraw the last from a shoe. A hinge bar is provided that has one end hinged to a base surface and another end with an aperture into which the knob may be inserted and clamped when it is desired to secure the shoe on the last in a position convenient for polishing. The inclination of the hinge bar may be clamped at an angle selected by the user. When it is desired to store the last (with shoe mounted on the last) the last is attached to any one of numerous locations on a rack by inserting the knob into an aperture ate the selected location.
Abstract: The present invention provides an unique and compact shoe support apparatus for supporting and holding a shoe at an operable position. This mounting means frees both hands of the user for cleaning and polishing. The apparatus includes a `U` shaped mounting bracket which fastens to both door knobs. The mounting bracket is adapted to receive a shoe tree device which is adjustable to accommodate various sizes of shoes. The shoetree has an adjustable heel snubber portion which functions to hold the shoe in place through a combination of a rearward force and a grip developed between the inside heel portion of the shoe and the last located in the toe portion of the shoe.
Abstract: A portable shoe maintenance and storage box has separable shoe maintenance and shoe storage portions, with the two portions capable of being latched or secured together to close the box. The relatively deeper storage portion provides interior space for holding a pair of shoes therein, and a shelf for holding various shoe maintenance and cleaning articles (e. g., brushes, polish, cleaning cloths or rags, golf shoe spike tool, etc.) therein. The relatively shallower maintenance portion includes a shoe holder which extends beyond the plane defined by the edges of the peripheral walls of the maintenance portion, to provide clearance from the peripheral walls for working on a shoe on the holder. The holder is adapted to hold a shoe either upright or inverted, for cleaning of the upper portion of the shoe, or for work on the sole and heel portions. When the maintenance and storage portions are latched together, a pair of shoes and other articles may be securely stored or carried therein.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in shoe shining is provided having a frame, a lower support pivotally mounted on the frame for receiving a shoe, the lower suppport being pivotable upwardly from a position parallel and adjacent to the frame to a horizontal position substantially perpendicular to the frame, a shoe retaining arm pivotally mounted on the frame above the lower support for engaging the inner sole of the shoe at the heel area, the shoe retaining arm being pivotable downwardly to a substantially horizontal position above the horizontal position of the lower support, the shoe retaining arm including a holding element for contacting the inner sole of the shoe at the heel area and the holding element being vertically adjustable to provide a clamping force for securing the shoe onto the lower support.
Abstract: A portable shoe shine kit adapted for travel and home use has a container and operatively associated footrest assembly which is removably stored therein. The container defines a storage space which has a partition therein for dividing the storage space into an upper compartment and a lower compartment and the partition has an opening to provide communication between the upper compartment and lower compartment. The footrest assembly includes, a base, a footrest bracket, and an elongated support for connecting the footrest bracket and the base to each other. The base is disposed in the lower compartment of the container and has a connecting member thereon aligned with the opening in the partition to permit the elongated member and the footrest bracket to be connected thereto without removing the base from the container and to position the footrest bracket exterior of the container a spaced predetermined distance generally above the base.
Abstract: A shoe shine box is provided and consists of a housing that has a hinged cover that can be flipped over onto a plate member on top of the housing to expose a shoe rest on underside of the cover for a shoe to be shined thereon.
