Abstract: Provided are an erasing implement and a writing implement equipped with the erasing implement, the erasing implement being capable of erasing writing regardless of the type of ink or lead of the writing implement, even writing with thermochromic ink or writing with pencil lead. The erasing implement is equipped with a first erasing member for erasing writing with thermochromic ink and a second erasing member for erasing writing of types other than thermochromic ink, and is configured by covering the outer surface of the second erasing member with the first erasing member.

Abstract: A retractable safety knife has a hollow handle with an opening at an end thereof, a pusher that is movably disposed within the handle and is operable by a user, and a blade that is connected with an end of the pusher. When the pusher moves from a blade-retracted position to a blade-extended position, the blade extends outwardly from the handle opening and rotates from a nested position to an extended position.

Abstract: A writing instrument that includes a shaft and an eraser exit device. The eraser exit device includes an eraser protection sleeve that is mobile at least in rotation relative to the shaft so that the eraser can assume a maximum exit configuration and a retraction configuration, and an eraser holder provided with at least a first longitudinal guiding member directly interacting with a first complementary guiding member connected to the shaft so as to prevent any rotation movement between the holder and the shaft, and provided with at least a second guiding member that interacts with a second complementary guiding member connected to the sleeve. The sleeve has a front portion surrounding the rear end of the shaft and a rear portion having an inner guiding portion including the second complementary guiding member.

The clamping segment has multiple clamping protrusions for pressing against the rubber. The guiding segment extends outwardly and makes an opening of the rubber holding device have a distance from the clamping segment. Accordingly, the stationery tool has capabilities of adjusting an extension length of the rubber and conveniently replacing a used rubber.

A stick-shaped body advancing holder has an outer barrel, an inner barrel, and urging members, the urging members each being of a sawtooth shape and having bent portions. The urging members are arranged in a gap between flat faces of the outer barrel and flat faces of the inner barrel. On a knocking operation, the bent portions are deformed, thereby generating an urging force.

Abstract: A hand-held instrument comprising a writing utensil and associated handles interconnected to each other to allow a user to selectively position the writing utensil in either an extended position of use or a closed position of storage, as well as a variety of positions there between. The writing utensil may take a variety of forms, and the handles may incorporate additional devices or tools. The rotation of the handles about the writing utensil allows a user to manipulate the handles in a variety of ways, similar to that of a “butterfly knife” or similar device comprising balisong style openings. In one aspect of the invention, the writing instrument may be used to perform moves or tricks as a novelty device to provide entertainment and enjoyment to a user.

The eraser is stored in a tube assembly and a rolling mechanism is used to slide the eraser out of the tube assembly for use. The rolling mechanism prevents the eraser from accidentally sliding back into the device during use and gives the user total control over the length of eraser that is extended from the device.

Abstract: An eraser advancing mechanism for a mechanical pencil has a pair of nested screws within a barrel. A second screw, with outwardly directed threads, extends through a conduit in a first screw that includes outwardly directed threads and a thread in the conduit meshing with the threads of the second screw. An eraser ferrule includes a thread that meshes with the outwardly directed threads of the first screw. The ferrule includes a knob serving to drive rotation of the eraser ferrule, and hence the first screw. The first screw includes a head with a profile that complements the inner profile of the barrel. Rotation of the first screw causes rotation of the barrel and serves to create a counter-rotation of the second screw, leading to axial movement of the second screw relative to the first screw.

A bearing part is brought into contact with a lead tank provided inside a forward art of the tubular part so that the forward part of the outer sleeve is movable in the axial direction and is locked in the turning direction against a rearward inner surface of the outer sleeve. The rearward part of the tubular body is provided with a slit, holding pieces of a stick-shaped object holder slidably inserted in said slit. A stick-shaped object is held by the holding pieces, and the projection is provided on each holder engaged with the spiral groove of the tubular cap.

The eraser is carried by an eraser holder having projections which ride in helical grooves formed in the rear barrel, and the eraser holder is prevented from undergoing rotation. An eraser holder is mounted within the rearward portion of the inner barrel and holds an elongate eraser which can be extended and retracted in response to angular displacement of the outer rear barrel in opposite directions.

Abstract: This invention relates to a container for feeding a bar shaped article such as an erasing gum, a pencil lead, a crayon, a pastel, or an eyebrow stick, especially for advancing or retracting the bar shaped article. A bar shaped article (8) is inserted into an inner sleeve (2) from the rear end with the outer sleeve (1) being held by the hand, then the rear end of the inner sleeve (2) is pressed. Inner sleeve (2) moves forward and rearward against the resilient force of an elastic biasing member (3). A chuck (4) at the end of the inner sleeve (2) opens and closes repeatedly and the end of the bar shaped article (8) is fed out and can be used. When the chuck (4) holds the bar shaped article (8) in an unused state a chuck open means opens the chuck 4 slightly and loosens the securing force preventing encroachment of the chuck (4) into the article (8) allowing the chuck (4) to easily separate from the article (8) when the article (8) is fed out.

Abstract: A knock-out type mechanical pencil has a supporting rod mounted with an eraser at its rear end and axially slidably engaged within the interior of a cylindrical knock-button. A tubularly cylindrical weight is axially slidably engaged around the supporting rod. A cylindrical magnet is axially magnetized and secured to the inner peripheral surface of the knock-button. An annularly inwardly raised guide portion is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the knock-button for guiding the weight to the axial line of the knock-button when the weight is axially slidably dropped downwardly toward the writing tip of the pencil. To protrude and fix an eraser from the rear end of the tubular cylindrical body, the rear end of the pencil is tilted downward. To automatically contain or retract the eraser in the knock-button, the writing tip of the pencil is directed downwardly in writing state.
