Abstract: The present invention thoroughly cleans hairbrushes and combs and comprises an upper portion with at least two openings for containing a hair remover and an item to be cleaned, a rotating roller brush, and a housing portion. The roller brush, together with the hair remover, effectively clean and remove hair from styling combs and brushes and prevent accumulated hair from impeding the cleaning action by removing it from the roller brush. The device is configured in a specialized concave crescent shape, and the pattern of bristles on the roller brush is configured to optimize cleaning action on hairbrushes and styling combs.

Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein include bottle cleaning devices and methods. An exemplary bottle cleaning device comprises a drive system. A shaft is releasably connected to the drive system. The shaft rotates in response to operation of the drive system. A brush system is provided on the shaft to rotate in response to operation of the drive system. The brush system includes at least one brush conforming to an inner side-wall of a bottle.

The power unit comprises a housing adapted for being gripped in the hand of a user, and the housing has an interior. A motor is mounted in the interior of the housing. An attachment mounting member is located in the interior of the housing, and a power source is located in the housing. At least one interchangeable brush attachment is provided for removably coupling to the power unit. The brush attachment includes a brush portion and an attachment base portion for removably mounting to the attachment mounting member of the power unit. The attachment mounting member has a mounting groove formed by an inner wall surface and an outer wall surface spaced from the inner wall surface. The mounting groove is substantially annular and peg members are located at diametrically opposite locations on the annular mounting groove.

Abstract: A brush and roller spinner and paint mixer comprises a hollow cylindrical body portion, a gripper at one end of the body portion to releasably hold a brush or roller and a handle at the other end of the body portion. The handle is affixed to one end of a helically shaped rod which extends axially through the cylindrical body and is mounted to the gripper member at its other end to cause rotational movement thereof as the handle is moved downwardly. The handle includes a recessed base which extends outwardly from the handle and includes downwardly extending walls having a recess which engages a protrusion on the cylinder cover to halt the motion thereof and lock the handle in place. A paint mixer comprising an elongated shaft with a spiral element at one end may be removably mounted at the other end to the gripper so that the mixer is rotated by movement of the handle.

Abstract: A baby bottle cleaner is provided including a base and a plurality of bottle cleaning assemblies situated on the base and adapted to emit water therefrom. Such assemblies are adapted to accept the baby bottle thereon for cleaning purposes. Further provided is a nipple cleaning cover adapted to be removably coupled to the base such that the nipple cleaning cover encompasses the bottle cleaning assemblies. The nipple cleaning cover further includes a mesh basket positioned in the cover for supporting a plurality of nipples therein such that the nipples are cleaned.

Abstract: A brush cleaning and disinfecting device, for cleaning a brush having brush bristles, comprising a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion having a cavity capable of retaining a fluid disinfecting solution. The upper portion having a top having an aperature for inserting the brush to be cleaned into the cavity. Cleaning elements are arranged circumferentially around the aperature for engaging the brush circumferentially. The cleaning elements are each mounted on a shaft extending through the top. A pulley is attached to each shaft. The pulleys are connected to each other and to a drive motor with a drive belt, for rotating the cleaning elements.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for removing a label from a container which includes a cylindrical surface, by blowing air so as to be incident tangentially with respect to the cylindrical surface of the container and flow along the container surface toward a leading edge of the label as the container is rotated. An air knife having an air exit slit and a substantially planar surface disposed adjacent to and substantially perpendicular to the air exit slit utilizes the Coanda effect, such that air exiting from the air exit slit bends around and follows the substantially planar surface so as to flow tangentially to the cylindrical surface of the container and thereby remove the label as the container is rotated.

Abstract: An automatic infant bottle cleaner comprises a hand-held, battery-operated drill mechanism having a bristle brush attachment. The drill mechanism has an ergonomically angled case made of hard plastic. The drill mechanism also has a three position slide switch, a rectifier, two rechargeable batteries, and a small three volt DC motor. A method of using the cleaner is also provided.
