Abstract: A screen cleaning system cleans debris from a material catching screen surrounded by a frame. A hollow vacuum arm which moves over the screen. The arm has a slot in a side which is adjacent to the screen. The arm includes an inner arm pivotally coupled to a duct and an outer arm which movable with respect to the inner arm. The arm is moved by an actuator mechanism which includes a first pulley coupled to a drive shaft, a second pulley coupled to an end of the arm, a belt drivingly coupling the first pulley to the second pulley. The outer arm is slidably coupled to the inner arm and a spring is biased to urge the outer arm radially inwardly. A track is formed by the frame and a roller rides along the track and is rotatably coupled to an end of the outer arm.

Abstract: Floor treatment cleaning system (3) for a floor cleaning machine (1). The floor treatment cleaning system includes at least two treatment elements (7a, 7b) wherein each treatment element is equipped with cleaning means (11) and is eccentrically driven by driving means (15A) via at least two synchronized eccentric pivots (8), characterized in that the respective pivots revolve around their main rotation axes (13) in such a way that the at least two treatment elements perform opposite movements thereby transporting residues on the floor in a desired direction and balancing engine masses and friction. The treatment elements (7a, 7b) can be positioned in different ways: transversely relative to the moving direction of the machine (1) and parallel behind each other, transversely relative to the moving direction of the machine (1) and next to each other and in a V-shape or arcuate with the opening in the moving direction of the machine.

Abstract: A positioning structure of a beach umbrella is provided that includes a positioning apparatus to connect with a lower tube of the umbrella. The apparatus has a flat plate for forcing the lower tube being inserted into ground easily. A handle has a rod to engage with apertures on the tubes of the shaft that can adjust the height of the beach umbrella as desired for increasing utility.

Abstract: A surface sweeping device utilizing a brush connected to an arm first end portion. The second end portion of the arm connects to a shaft rotated by a motor. The arm contacts a cam surface during a portion of the rotation of the crank to raise and lower the brush from the surface. At the same time, the crank moves the brush inwardly and outwardly to create a sweeping motion.

Abstract: A device for removing sand, solid particulate wastes and the like from a surface being cleaned, comprising spade-shaped members driven in a closed rotatory circuit cooperating with a brush in synchronized sweeping motion. In a first embodiment, a rotatory belt mounting a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart spade-shaped collector elements cooperates to receive material swept by a single brush in pendulum arcuate motion and then elevates the waste for deposit into a storage container for later disposal. In a second embodiment, the sweeping action is provided by the reciprocating motion of a first rotational belt mounting a plurality of transverse, circumferentlally spaced-apart rows of brushes and the receiving and elevating is done by a second belt mounting an array of circumferentially spaced-apart spade-shaped collector elements.

Abstract: A sand distributor and spreader for filling sand into aerated holes in golf greens wherein a frame has slidably mounted thereon a plurality of brushes. A gear box, or other source of mechanical energy, is interconnected to the frame such that an output of the gear box selectively reciprocates the brushes between a first position and a second position. Furthermore, a plurality of wheels are rotatably mounted to the frame in such a manner that the frame can be moved, while the gear box output simultaneously reciprocates the brushes. Additionally, a mechanism is included so that the brushes may be lifted from the surface to be brushed so that the spreader may be easily moved. In an additional embodiment, an engine simultaneously reciprocates the brushes and rotates the wheels.
