Abstract: A covering system includes a tarp made of an elastic membrane and a plurality of tarp fastening hooks. The fastening hooks allow the elastic membrane to be stretched over valuables and affixed to environmental anchors so that creases and puddle-enabling pockets in the membrane are eliminated. The fastening hooks clamp onto the elastic membrane and hook onto the environmental anchors to cause tension in the membrane. The clamping forces of the tarp fasteners are inherently increased in proportion to the tension in the clamped membrane.

Abstract: A cover for a shaft having a grip on one end is provided. The cover may include a cap having a base and a protrusion that extends from the base. The cover may further include a sleeve for covering at least a portion of the grip that extends from the cap. The sleeve may have a first end seated against the cap and a second free end. A cover for insertion into a shaft is also provided. Such a cover may include a cap insertable into an end of the shaft and a sleeve that extends from the cap. The sleeve may have a first end attached to the cap and a second free end. A combination of the shaft and the cover is also provided.

Abstract: A sanitary hypo-allergenic latex-free disposable anti-fomitic device is provided. The anti-fomitic device comprises a sheet of a microorganism-impenetrable material comprising a first side and a second side, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive, such as, for example, a covering used in medical tape, covering at least a portion of the first side.

Abstract: A weighting device for use on an athletic ball striker as during handle swinging of the striker comprising a receptacle having an opening via which the ball striking portion is received into the receptacle, with the handle projecting from the receptacle, a retainer carried on the receptacle to be fastened in a position for retaining the receptacle in generally enclosing relation to the ball striking portion, and weighting structure carried by the receptacle to add substantial weight to the striker for use as in striker practice swinging, the retainer including a foldable flap that retains the receptacle to the striker during such practice swinging, the striking may for example comprise a baseball bat, or a tennis racket.

Abstract: A racket cover with elastic loops to insert a container of balls makes the effort of going to play a racket sport much easier and is a useful, much-needed addition to the function of the standard racket cover of carrying their belongings to the court. Another embodiment of this invention is a device that could be attached to any covers such that the cover would then be able to hold a container of balls or drink. Thus, the invention could be applied to new covers being produced, and covers that have already been made, enabling all players to utilize the benefits of this invention.

Abstract: A multi-mode playball whose components are a shaped casing of flexible material having an opening therein that is closable by a drawstring whose end portions, when the string is drawn, then extend from the closed opening, and a toy balloon, which in its uninflated state is insertable into the casing and when then inflated stretches to conform to the shape of the casing to create a pneumatic playball. The playball is operable in any one of three modes, the first being a ball mode in which the end portions of the drawn string are inserted into the casing before the balloon is inflated and the resultant pneumatic ball can then be thrown, kicked and bounced. In the second or bop mode, the pneumatic ball is tethered by the end portion of the drawstring whereby the ball can then be punched back and forth.

Abstract: A tennis racket cover is provided with a measuring strap for measuring the height of a tennis net. A first end of the strap is attached to the cover, and a second end of the strap can be pulled away from the cover and positioned beyond a first end of the cover. The distance between a second end of the cover and the second end of the strap is about 36 inches.
