    Abstract: This non-pneumatic tire is provided with a tread ring, a wheel which is arranged radially inside of the tread ring, and spokes which are interposed between the tread ring and the wheel. Further, the wheel has a disc part to which the vehicle shaft is linked, and a rim part which is connected on the inner peripheral side to the disc part and is joined on the outer peripheral side to the spokes. In this configuration, the average thickness (T1) of the disc part is set to be less than the average thickness (T2) of the rim part. In other words, the relation T1<T2 holds.

    Abstract: A tire member of a non-pneumatic tire is provided. An inner circumference of the tire member is provided with a mounting protrusion. Securing notches for securing the tire member to a rim are provided at two sides of where the mounting protrusion joins the tire member. A position fixing groove is provided at an inner circumference of the mounting protrusion. The position fixing groove has an annular structure; alternatively, the position fixing groove has an arc structure, and a plurality of the position fixing grooves having the arc structure are uniformly distributed at the inner circumference of the mounting protrusion in a circumferential direction. Two side walls of the position fixing groove are provided with several securing holes below the securing notches, respectively. The securing holes pass through the side walls of the position fixing groove, and partially coincide with securing notches at an outer side.

The tread, tire fill medium, and metal membrane are secured to a rim with two notches. The rim has one notch for holding the tread and a second notch for holding the tire fill medium and the metal membrane. If a different tread is required, the one positioned on the rim is easily removed and a different tread is placed on the double notched rim.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a tubeless bicycle tire and rim. The rim is formed with opposing recesses configured to engage corresponding beads formed on the tire. With the beads engaged in the recesses, the tire and rim seal for form an air tight, sealed chamber such that no inner tube is necessary. The rim is formed with a single aperture having a valve installed therein. Preferably, the valve is formed with a ring which extends into the air tight, sealed chamber. In the event of a flat tire, the tire may be removed from the rim. The valve may also be removed by grasping the ring and pulling.

    Abstract: A skate wheel (10) having a configuration of hubs (24), tire (14), spacers (26) and bearing assembly (22) which firmly locks the tire in place and yet allows the tire, bearing assembly and spacer to be replaced independently from the rest of the wheel when appropriate. In the preferred embodiment, each hub is formed with an annular recess to hold the spacer and bearing assembly. The tire is firmly locked into the present wheel by virtue of an annular tire flange (18) of rectangular transverse cross-section which is received into each hub and by acutely V-shaped projections (23) from each hub which are received into the tire. Small gaps are provided between hubs and spacers to prevent torsional overload of the bearing assembly. Peaks and valleys can be formed in mating hub and tire surfaces to prevent rotation of the tire relative to the hub.

The annular has a central bight portion extending generally axially and bounded by radially in-turned leg portions. The leg portions diverge relative to one another radially inwardly towards the tire bead toes and terminates in toe portions bearing generally flat against the interior surfaces of the tire toe beads. An elastomeric tread is bonded to the outer surface of the central bight portion. The annulus is made up of a pair of semi-circular members having interengageable mating ends releasably interconnected to form a complete annulus.
