Abstract: A bonding mechanism of corrugated paper making machine includes an endless loop-like band and an adjusting mechanism for adjusting position and configuration of the band with respect to a surface sheet of the corrugated paper pasted on a core sheet. The adjustment performed by the adjusting mechanism changes an area of surface contact between the band and the surface sheet of the corrugated paper and thus changing a pressurizing area between the surface sheet and the core sheet. The surface contact between the band and the surface sheet enhances bonding operation of the surface sheet to the core sheet and increases the time when a pressure is applied in the pressurizing area to bond the surface sheet and the core sheet together. The surface contact eliminates the potential damage to the surface sheet caused by application of concentrated force at a single contact point on the surface sheet and increases the manufacturing efficiency of the corrugated paper.

Abstract: A laminating machine and a method for the production of laminated polyethylene foam sheets is described. The machine comprises a conveyor belt having at least two laminating assemblies disposed in spaced-apart relationship therealong. Each laminating assembly has a hot air diffuser for dispensing an elongated ribbon of hot air across the conveyor belt and a press roll which is spaced behind the hot air diffuse. A sheet laminating slot is defined between the diffuse and the press roll. The top surface of a lower polyethylene foam sheet passing under the laminating assembly and the bottom surface of an upper polyethylene foam sheet entering the laminating slot are heated by the hot air ribbon and juxtaposed and pressed by the press roll whereby to fuse the two polyethylene foam sheets together. A plurality of polyethylene foam sheets can be laminated by having a plurality of laminating assemblies along the conveyor.

Abstract: The laminator with a small film roll has a structure capable of having the small film roll mounted thereto, thus reducing costs required for laminating a target sheet, thereby solving problems occurring due to expensive costs. Furthermore, a feed tray is easily and removably installed, so that a process of mounting the small film roll to the laminator is simplified, thereby most users can easily use the laminator. Also, an upper heating roller of the laminator is able to be replaced by a roller having an embossing function. Therefore, the laminator of the present invention is able to texture the target sheet with various and graceful shapes.
