Exterior Surface Patents (Class 159/10)
  • Patent number: 11692316
Abstract: A scraper assembly for a construction machine includes a housing pivotally coupled to a frame of the construction machine for moving the scraper assembly between a stowed position and a deployed position. The scraper assembly also includes a scraper partially received within the housing. In the deployed position of the scraper assembly, the scraper engages with a machine component to remove material stuck to the machine component. The scraper assembly further includes a biasing device received within housing. The biasing device biases the scraper towards the machine component. Further, the biasing device travels in a substantially linear path for biasing the scraper towards the machine component.

  • Patent number: 10280095
Abstract: The desalination system with mineral recovery is a system for desalinating water using spray drying, which allows for both the production of purified water and the recovery of mineral salts. The desalination system with mineral recovery is a two-stage system for zero-liquid discharge (ZLD) desalination of feed water. The feed water may be, for example, seawater, reverse osmosis (RO) brine (i.e., the waste brine from a RO process), nano-filtration (NF) reject, multistage flash (MSF) brine, or the like. The first stage receives the feed water and uses a spray drying process to produce concentrated brine and a first volume of purified water. The concentrated brine is fed to the second stage, which also uses a spray drying process to produce a second volume of purified water and a volume of recovered mineral salts.

  • Patent number: 10234201
Abstract: A complex type dryer includes a rotational cylinder, a drying material, a hot air provider, a hot air chamber and a scraping unit. The drying material provider is disposed over the rotational cylinder and coats a drying material on a surface of the rotational cylinder. The hot air provider is connected to both sides of the rotational cylinder, and includes first and second hot air tubes. The first and second hot air tubes alternately provide a hot air into the rotational cylinder or alternately exhaust the hot air passing through the rotational cylinder. The hot air chamber is disposed along an outer surface of the rotational cylinder outside of the rotational cylinder. The scraping unit is disposed at a side of the rotational cylinder, and removes the drying material from the surface of the rotational cylinder after dried by the rotational cylinder and the hot air chamber.

  • Patent number: 9839863
Abstract: An at least two shaft reactor/mixer, in particular for process engineering treatment of highly viscose, elastic and/or solid containing reaction substance and mixture, in which at the housing inner wall inwardly directed static mixing elements are arranged, which interact with scrapers of the at least two shafts in such a way, that in the area of the spaces between the scrapers the static mixing elements and the housing inner wall sheer forces, in particular a flow disturbance, are generated in an enhanced manner. In addition, there is a system including an end cap for a one or multiple shaft reactor/mixer and a discharge screw connector block being connectable with the end cap in a detachable manner.

  • Patent number: 9593025
Abstract: The wastewater evaporator provides for effluent evaporation in a septic system to eliminate need for a drain field. The evaporator tank contains a plurality of evaporator trays in a vertical array. Solids settle in the septic tank, and liquid effluent flows from the septic tank to the evaporator tank and cascades sequentially from the uppermost to the lowermost tray. The multiple trays increase the surface area of liquid contained therein, thereby greatly enhancing evaporation. An above-surface air pump and vent may be provided for air flow through the evaporator tank. An ultrasonic generator may be installed in each tray to increase the surface area of the effluent to enhance evaporation. An additional intermediate pump tank may be provided between the septic tank and the evaporator tank to control effluent flow and delivery to the evaporator tank. A sump pump in the pump tank periodically delivers effluent to the evaporator tank.

  • Patent number: 9138670
Abstract: A system includes a particulate removal system configured to remove particulates from a syngas to generate a treated syngas and a particulate flow. The particulate removal system includes a shell. The shell includes a syngas inlet configured to receive the syngas, a syngas outlet configured to discharge the treated syngas, and a particulate outlet configured to discharge the particulate flow. The particulate removal system also includes a particulate collection surface disposed in the shell and configured to adhere the particulates from the syngas to the particulate collection surface as the particulate collection surface rotates toward the syngas and to separate the particulates from the particulate collection surface as the particulate collection surface rotates away from the syngas.

  • Patent number: 4249989
Abstract: A condenser for isolating solid substances from a vapor and gas mixture and pulps comprises a vertical cylindrical casing having a conical bottom and a vertical rotary drum accommodated in the casing and adjoining with its outer periphery to vertically extending internal protrusions of the casing walls in such a manner that the drum and the protrusions form a vertical transversal partition wall which is in a spaced relationship with respect to the casing bottom, and the interior of the casing represents a U-shaped space. Pipes for admission of a vapor and gas mixture and a pulp that does not contain rare-earth metals are provided in the upper portion of one inlet branch of the U-shaped space, and a pipe for discharge of the vapor and gas mixture cleaned from solid substances is provided in the upper portion of the other outlet branch of the U-shaped space. A pipe for removal of solid substances is provided in the lower portion of the conical bottom.

  • Patent number: 4114753
Abstract: A pair of rollers define between them a narrow gap which is supplied with sludge to be treated. The sludge is conveyed by one of the pair of rollers to a third roller in contact with the conveying roller. The third roller is spaced a short distance from a rotating drum carrier to which is applied a thin film of the sludge. The sludge is applied to the carrier by the formation of a sludge bulge, which is an accumulation of sludge, in the area defined by the carrier, the third roller, and the conveying roller. The drum carrier picks up the sludge from the sludge bulge forming a film of sludge whose thickness is limited by the spacing of the third roller from the carrier.
