Abstract: A guide system for guiding a movably mounted furniture part, in particular a folding or folding-sliding door, includes a longitudinal guide rail, at least one guide device via which the furniture part is movable in a longitudinal direction along the longitudinal guide rail, and at least one support on which the furniture part is mounted in an articulated manner. The at least one support is movable in a direction extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal guide rail, and the at least one support has a receiver for receiving the guide device and the support is movable in the mounted position into a transfer position in which the receiver is arranged adjacent to the longitudinal guide rail. A compensation device compensates for a height difference between the receiving device and the longitudinal guide rail is provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a wheel assembly having an elongate housing configured to engage with and support a sliding panel element. The housing has a first subassembly having a first pair of wheels, the first subassembly being configured so as to allow rocking of the first pair of wheels. The housing also has a second subassembly having a second pair of wheels, the second subassembly being configured so as to allow rocking of the second pair of wheels. The first and second subassemblies are independently vertically adjustable with reference to the housing. The present wheel assemblies may be of the type used to support a sliding door or similar, on a surface such as a track.
Abstract: A horizontal garage door assembly includes a plurality of panels, which are pivotally connected at adjacent side edges. A top rail receives the plurality of panels and includes a first straight portion, a curved portion, and a second straight portion. A motor is positioned at a first end of the first straight portion, a tensioning mechanism is disposed on a first panel, a gear mechanism is positioned at a second end of the first straight portion. A connecting band connects the motor, the gear mechanism, and the tensioning mechanism to form a loop along a length of the top rail. The motor drives the connecting band such that the plurality of panels moves between a closed position, in which the plurality of panels is substantially received in the first straight portion, and an open position, in which the plurality of panels is substantially received in the second straight portion.

Abstract: A roller with a Delrin plastic injection to coat the steel shaft wherein the plastic coated shaft eliminates the metal-to-metal contact that creates the noise. The new and improved Delrin plastic coated shaft will be 1 mm larger than industry standard shafts because 10-11 mm industry standard shafts are too loose in the hinge barrels which allows the rattling. This improved roller shaft is 12 mm at finished thickness to reduce the extra space. A roller wheel connected to a roller shaft being a portion of a hinge affixed to a garage door, the roller wheel adapted to roll within a track of a garage door, the roller wheel including at least one ball bearing and a collar retained in a circumferential cylindrical middle cover seal and the circumferential cylindrical middle cover seal covered with a steel cover, the steel cover covered with 50-90 durometer soft urethane plastic.

This is a long over-due improvement to garage door rollers.
Abstract: A tensioning assembly for winding a winding system includes a support bracket connectable to a fixed frame, a collar portion removably mountable onto a shaft of the winding system proximate to the support bracket, a ratchet wheel, and a pawl component. The collar portion is removably secured onto the shaft. The ratchet wheel is securely mounted onto the collar portion and is rotatable therewith. The ratchet wheel has a plurality of teeth and a plurality of corresponding recesses. The pawl component is operatively mountable on the support bracket and is moveable with respect to said support bracket, the pawl component having an extremity being positioned, shaped and sized with respect to at least one recess of the ratchet wheel for allowing rotation of the shaft along a winding direction, and for blocking rotation of the shaft along an unwinding direction.

The attenuation and retraction device includes a lid with a slot that is open towards the rail. The lid includes ramp portion adapted to interact with the pin such that the pin reaches further into the slot after passing the entry point as the door approaches an end position.
Abstract: A sliding door for use with a rail system, having a rail, which guides a sliding motion of the door, and an attenuation and retraction device, which brakes the sliding motion of the door at a brake position in the vicinity of a door end position and retracts the door to the end position. The sliding door includes a pin, which is slideably attached to the door, slideable between a pin retracted position and a pin extended position, a tip of the pin interacting with the attenuation and retraction device. The door further includes a wheel carried by a wheel holder, which is arranged to move the wheel between a wheel retracted position and a wheel extended position. A transmission mechanism interconnects the wheel holder and the pin such that a movement of the wheel, towards the wheel extended position, urges the pin towards the pin extended position.
Abstract: The present invention is generally a movable barrier assembly that includes a screen garage door that may be remotely operated to open and close an entry to a garage, thereby facilitating ventilation, and preventing debris such as leaves, insects, etc. from entering the garage. In an exemplary embodiment, a screen assembly includes a first track running substantially parallel to a second track on which a garage door travels. A movable barrier operator that actuates the garage door and screen door may include a first motor to operate the screen door, and a second motor to operate the garage door. In exemplary embodiments, a single control unit is configured to operate both motors and thus operate each movable barrier.
Abstract: A hinge for a multi-panel door includes a first bracket, a second bracket pivotally coupled to the first bracket, and a carrier link carrying a roller adapted to engage in a door track. A push nut fastener mounted to the shaft member and the sleeve member abuttingly mounted to one end of the inner sleeve member. The leaf assemblies' movement is constrained along the tubular supporting member. The sleeve is made of a self-lubricating plastic material.
Abstract: A carriage for fitting a suspendable door on a rail is described. The carriage includes a housing and at least one running roller disposed on the housing. The running roller is positioned to engage the rail. An installation plate is included that is adapted to be connected to the suspendable door. A suspension bolt is connected between the housing and the installation plate. A portion of the suspension bolt engages a bearing disposed at one end of either the housing or the installation plate. The bearing permits at least angular displacement if the suspension bolt with respect to either the housing or the installation plate.

Abstract: This invention relates to a support and guide element for movable, suspended door and wall elements. The support and guide element is designed so that a smooth movement can be securely executed, even in the vicinity of junctions and intersections. This is achieved because four support rollers are fastened to a square support roller cage block, but where only two of the four support rollers support the weight of the door or wall element in the running direction of the door or wall element. The other two support rollers are oriented at right angles to the running direction, and, during movement of the door in the running direction, only come into contact with the roller rail at a junction or intersection. Above the running rollers there are guide rollers, which guarantee secure guidance of the wall element.
