  • Patent number: 7676887
Abstract: A door hinge adapted to provide vertical and depth adjustments of an engaged door with a door frame. The hinge features a first hinge member adapted for fixed recessed engagement to a side edge of a door jam which is rotationally engaged with a support member extending from a second hinge member adapted for engagement to the door. Adjustment of height and depth of the door inside the door jam is easily achieved by rotation of adjustment screws accessible from a single surface that is visible when the second hinge member is engaged to the door.

Abstract: A hinge has a stationary leaf, multiple resilient flat washers and a pintle. The stationary leaf has a sleeve. The resilient flat washers are mounted in the sleeve and each resilient flat washer has a ring and a key wing. The ring has a receiving recess formed in a first surface and a mounting rib formed in a second surface. The receiving recess of each resilient flat washer engages the mounting rib of a corresponding resilient flat washer. With the engagements of the receiving recesses and the mounting ribs, the resilient flat washers are connected to each other to enhance the strength of the resilient flat washers. Therefore, the resilient flat washers are strong enough to bear the abrasion for long term use.

  • Patent number: 7603746
Abstract: A three-way adjustable butt hinge for a door is adjusted vertically in a door frame by inserting an allen wrench in a vertical adjustment screw at the top of the hinge pin. Turning the wrench moves the screw in either direction, pushes on the hinge pin and raises or lowers the door as necessary. A pin has an eccentric shaft with upper and lower sections offset on parallel axes. Lateral adjustments are effected by loosening a side-mounted set screw and turning the eccentric shaft as necessary to move the door either in or out or side to side in the frame. The lateral set screw holds the hinge pin integral with the sash hinge. The door is removed from the frame by simply lifting the door sash hinge and pin from the complementary pin receiver on the frame hinge.

  • Patent number: 7441308
Abstract: Watertight closure of an opening within a wall, under manually controlled displacement of a door panel, is enhanced by pivotal mounting of the door panel on the wall by vertically spaced hinge assemblies each of which is more readily assembled from a minimal number of components including upper and lower hinge pads fixed to the wall, a single hinge pin supported on the upper hinge pad and extending downwardly therefrom through the lower hinge pad and an end portion of a hinge blade fixed to the door panel. Flanged bushings are inserted into the upper and lower hinge pads through which the hinge pin extends. Also positioned within the end portion of the hinge blade through which the hinge pin extends is a flanged bushing having a horizontally elongated hole formed, therein through which the hinge pin extends so as to allow limited horizontal displacement thereof relative to the wall. The bottom flange of the hinge blade bushing is spaced by a pair of washers from the flange of the lower hinge pad bushing.
