Abstract: Disclosed is a grill damping hinge comprising a hinge lower cover and a hinge upper cover covering the top of the hinge lower cover. The invention can adopt double-axis double spring pressing design, and the hinge ear can be adjusted back and forth, and can be easily adjusted when the oven body and the oven cover are different in size, to ensure the sealing effect. The upper cover of the invention is lighter during opening and closing, and the opening-and-closing of the oven cover can stay at any angle within 0 to 58°, thereby avoiding the natural falling of the oven cover and having higher safety performance; In the production process of the invention, the cumbersome link of the screws and the nuts in the traditional hinge is avoided, and the manual installation and commissioning cost can be greatly saved.

  • Patent number: 5297313
Abstract: A pivot hinge assembly to pivot glass structures such as shower doors. The assembly includes a first hinge member having a pivot pin projecting therefrom and secured thereto. The pin is generally cylindrical but contains two opposing flat surfaces. The pin protrudes into a bore in a central block which joins two flat plates which clamp the glass between them. The block has four bores which contain pressure assemblies to press on the flat surfaces of the pivot pin and bias the hinge assembly to a closed position.

  • Patent number: 5079798
Abstract: The improved glass hinge assembly includes a first hinge component in the form of a glass clamp having a spaced pair of flat, parallel vertical walls interconnected by a connector block therebetween, the walls and connector block defining a peripheral glass-receiving space. The block is notched out in the rear so as to receive a pivot block connected to and projecting forwardly from the front end of a second hinge component of the assembly, which second component can be a glass clamp similar to the first glass clamp or a flat wall bracket disposed perpendicular to the pivot block. A hinge sub-assembly interconnects the two hinge components through the connector block of the first hinge component and the pivot block.

Abstract: A swing door hinge is provided comprising a first hinge member having a projection of approximately rectangular block shape and provided with at least two engaging recesses, the first hinge member being intended to be mounted to either a wall frame or a swing door, and a second hinge member having at least two engaging arms inserted into respective engaging of the first hinge member for pivotal movement and guide openings provided in the engaging arms. The second hinge member, which is also intended to be mounted to the wall frame or the swing door whichever does not carry the first hinge member, has pivot pins mounted in the guide openings and yieldingly urged by respective springs in the inward direction.

  • Patent number: 4770420
Abstract: A mounting system for a vehicle-mounted impact absorption box filled with a collapsible open cell network provides a lessened tendency for disintegration when subjected to the vibrations of the vehicle. The system contains a bolt surrounded by a region of transverse cells, with the bolt bonded to the cell walls and passing therethrough in a generally perpendicular direction. A further feature of the system is a pivot bracket constructed in two parts--a rigid portion and a pivot arm, the latter stabilized by springs which absorb torsional impulses on the arm arising from the vehicle vibrations. These two features work in conjunction with each other in reducing shock damage to the interior of the box, and thereby increase the life expectancy of the box as a whole.

  • Patent number: 4529937
Abstract: A metal detector assembly consisting of a metal detector box component and a supporting shaft has a spring-loaded hinge-support interconnecting the box component and the head shaft component. The hinge-support comprises a frame attachment member and a pivotally connected shaft attachment member. A coiled spring surrounds the pivot connection and is biased between shoulders on each of the two members to permit a flexing action and cause a desirable smooth horizontal arcuate swinging action of the head component of the metal detector. The device exaggerates a slight wrist movement initiated by the user and continues to swing as the user walks about thereby reducing arm fatigue and facilitating a more efficient and reliable sweeping action of the metal detector head. Alternatively, the device may further contain a spring-loaded detent mechanism in the pivot connection to optionally hold the shaft in a rigid relation to the hand held box component when desired.

  • Patent number: 4523736
Abstract: A device for mounting a rearview mirror casing on a support member integral with the bodywork of a vehicle, wherein the casing has a convex face against concave face of the support member by an elastic member disposed inside the casing. One of the ends of the elastic member is secured inside the casing. The other end is pivoting mounted on a fastening member integral with the support member and extending inside the casing so that the action of the spring is always exerted along the longitudinal axis of the casing. The convex face of the casing is provided with an opening to allow the fastening member therethrough. The opening has at least two opposing bosses which are adapted to be selectively engaged in at least two opposing slots extending from the opening when the casing is in a retracted position. The housing has at least one rib which is engaged in a corresponding slot provided in the support member.
