Abstract: A table includes a table panel, first and second mounting members, and first and second leg assemblies. Each of the first and second mounting members is coupled or formed with the table panel. Each of the first and second leg assemblies includes a linking member having an end portion rotatably coupled with the first mounting member and another end portion rotatably coupled with the second mounting member. When the first or second leg assembly is unfolded, the linking member abuts one or more retainers of the table panel and forms interference fit with the first and second mounting members. This significantly reduces vibration when the table is in use.

Abstract: An adjustable friction hinge with a first hinge portion with two spaced apart first hinge knuckles and second hinge portion having a second hinge knuckle with rotatably fit together. A barrel bushing is non-rotatably positioned in the second hinge knuckle. A friction bushing is slidably and non-rotatably located in openings in the two first hinge knuckles. A threaded compression nut, and a non-threaded compression nut are located in the two spaced apart first hinge knuckles. A screw passes through the non-threaded compression nut, the spaced apart first hinge knuckles, the second hinge knuckle, the two friction bushings, and into the threaded compression nut. When the screw is tightened, the threaded and non-threaded compression nuts force the two frictional bushing into frictional contact with the barrel bushing to increase a force required to move the first hinge portion and the second hinge portion relative to each other.

Abstract: A hinge includes a fixing member, a shaft fixed to the fixing member, a rotating member, an interfering member, and a fastener. The shaft includes a shaft post, and the fastener is fixed to a distal end of the shaft post. The interfering member defines a fixing hole departing from a center of the interfering member, and includes two guiding surfaces. The rotating member defines an oblong adjusting hole, through which the shaft post rotatably passes. A first resisting stub and a second resisting stub extend from the rotating member, to resist against the corresponding guiding surfaces. The shaft post is fixedly received in the fixing hole. When the rotating member is rotated relative to the shaft post, the first and second resisting stubs always resist against and move along the corresponding guiding surfaces, to urge the shaft post to relatively move in the adjusting hole.

Abstract: An interfering assembly of a hinge includes a male element including a first raised portion and a second raised portion, and a female element defining a through hole. A slot apart from a center of the through hole is defined in the female element. An inner ring and an outer ring are formed beside the slot. The inner ring defines a first depressed portion engaged with the first raised portion, and the outer ring defines a second depressed portion engaged with the second raised portion. Widths of the inner ring and the ring slot are gradually varied. During rotation of the rotating member, the first and second raised portions are slid out from the first and second depressed portions, respectively, and then in frictional engagement with the inner and outer rings, together with partial portions of the first and second raised portions covering the slot, correspondingly.

Abstract: A limiting hinge has a stationary limiting washer, a rotating limiting washer, a rotating bracket and a positioning washer mounted around a pintle in sequence. A first resistance is formed between the stationary limiting washer and the rotating limiting washer. A second resistance is formed between the rotating limiting washer and the rotating bracket. A third resistance is formed between the rotating bracket and the positioning washer. Because the first resistance is larger than the second resistance while the second resistance is larger than the third resistance, the rotating limiting washer disengages from the rotating bracket when a huge force is accidentally applied. Therefore, the rotating limiting washer stays still with the stationary limiting washer to prevent breakage.

Abstract: A 360° bi-directional rotary hinge formed of a fixed bracket, a rotary bracket, a limiter plate, a stop plate, a positioning plate, a spring ring and a fastening member for use in a folding electronic device is disclosed. Subject to matching between bottom blocks of the limiter plate and arched sliding grooves of the stop plate, movement of the stop plate is constrained by the fixed bracket, and therefore rotation of the rotary bracket of the 360° bi-directional rotary hinge is limited to a forward and backward 360° angle. Further, the stop plate carries an index block corresponding to a ?180° angle indication hole and a 180° angle indication hole on the base member of the folding electronic device for giving an indication when the rotary bracket is rotated to +180° or ?180° angle relative to the fixed bracket.

Abstract: The present application is directed to a hinge for a clamshell-type wireless communication device or other electronic device. In one embodiment, the communication device includes a base portion and a flip portion. A hinge mechanism movably couples the flip portion to the base portion so that the flip portion may pivot between a closed position and an open position. The hinge mechanism comprises first and second hinge parts, an indexing pin, and a spring. The indexing pin is rotatable relative to the first hinge part about a pivot axis. Additionally, the indexing pin is movable axially along the pivot axis. The second hinge part is non-rotatably engaged with the indexing pin and is rotatable about the pivot axis relative to the first hinge part between closed and open positions. The spring applies both an axial force and a rotational force to the indexing pin.

Abstract: A hinge provides swiveling of a display relative to one side of a host body including a first fastening seat, a pintle, a second fastening seat, a main torsion anchor member, a torsion rotary member, an ancillary torsion anchor member, a compressed elastic reed assembly and a nut. The main torsion anchor member and the torsion rotary member are compressed by a returning force of the compressed elastic reed assembly. When the pintle pivots to a selected angle, the protrusion rapidly slides in a retaining latch trough of the main torsion anchor member through a steep sloped surface so that the display automatically and fully folds over the host body. The torsion rotary member pivots concurrently so that the bulged edge slides on a gradual sloped surface of different gradients so that adequate friction resistance is generated due to compression of the returning force of the compressed elastic reed assembly.
