Abstract: A hardware assembly is provided with a threaded handle for a drawer or door. A threaded rod is provided for threaded engagement with the threaded handle, with a length to extend through the drawer or door. A threaded fastener is sized for threaded engagement with the threaded rod to engage the drawer or door spaced apart from the handle to fasten the handle to the drawer or door. At least one weakened region is formed in the threaded rod to permit separation of an unused portion of the rod from an installed portion of the rod.

Abstract: A cabinetry handle is provided with a handle body with a mounting surface oriented on the handle body to mount to cabinetry. A first fastener is provided on the mounting surface to cooperate with a second fastener within the cabinetry. At least one projection is spaced apart from the first fastener and extends a length from the mounting surface to engage the cabinetry to minimize rotation of the handle body relative to the cabinetry. The at least one projection has a thickness and a width that is greater than the thickness. A direction of the width of the at least one projection is aligned with the first fastener.

Abstract: A fastener including a bolt having an elongated shank having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a threaded portion having an external bolt thread, the bolt thread including a bolt pitch. The fastener includes a nut having a first end, a second end opposite the first end of the nut, and an internal nut thread extending between the first and second ends of the nut and adapted to engage threadedly the bolt thread of the bolt. The nut thread includes a nut pitch and a hardness that changes gradationally between the first and second ends of the nut. The bolt pitch of the bolt thread of the bolt is mismatched with the nut pitch of the nut thread of the nut.

Abstract: A handle structure including a base portion, a stop portion and a grip portion is provided. The grip portion is connected between the base portion and the stop portion. The handle structure has a cavity therein, the cavity has a bottom surface, and the bottom surface of the cavity is inclined to an axial direction of the grip portion.

Abstract: A thermal break washer and building construction fastening system and method includes a thermal break washer having an outerside, an underside, and a fastener aperture extending there through, with the outerside defining a solid upper surface. A mounting projection extends from the underside and a support projection extends from the outerside, with the mounting projection configured to be pressed into an inner building material to retain the thermal break washer on the inner building material, with the thermal break washer configured to receive a first fastener for securing the inner building material. An outer building material is placed on the support projection, with a retention washer having a plurality of apertures placed over the thermal break washer. The retention washer is configured to receive a second fastener through one of its apertures to secure the retention washer to the thermal break washer with the outer building material disposed there between.

Abstract: A handle structure contains a body, a housing, a cover, a controlling member, and a resilient element. The body includes an outer surface and an inner surface, the outer face has a non-grip face and a flat rim, and the inner surface has a connecting column. The housing is hollow and includes a front fringe, a rear fringe, and a L-shaped recess. The cover is fixed on a rear side of the housing and used to fix a handle structure on a plate. The controlling member is fitted into the housing and includes a front end and a rear end. The front end connects with the connecting column via the front fringe. The controlling member also includes a raised portion fixed in the L-shaped recess. The resilient element located between the controlling member and the cover. Hence, the controlling member is pushed by the resilient element to move toward the body.

Abstract: A handle assembly and related methods of use and manufacture. According to one embodiment, the handle assembly can include a mount that is configured to be secured to an object, such as a wall of a drawer. The mount can include a spine. The spine, in turn, can include a top surface. A ramp can extend from a first side of the mount, and a handle can extend from a second side of the mount.

Abstract: A pull assembly has a knob and a detachable fascia. An insert is located inside the knob, and the fascia attaches to the insert. The insert has a keyed hole, into which a tab extending from a non-decorative face of the fascia is inserted. The fascia may be rotated between a locked position and an unlocked position. When the fascia is rotated into the unlocked position, the fascia can be detached, and when the fascia is in the locked position, the fascia cannot be detached.

A base has a bore axially extending from a first end that is adapted to receive the insert member. A fastening structure extends from the second surface of the insert. The fastening structure is configured to be secure relative to a mounting surface to hold the base relative to the mounting surface.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a drawer handle with improved structure mainly consisted of a hollow head, a weight unit, and a main base; wherein, the hollow head includes an opening for being inserted by the main base, which further has a tapped aperture disposed thereon and a protrusion with a slotted portion protruded therefrom for mounting into the hollow head. Further, the weight unit has its bottom side to be disposed against an inner surface of the protrusion so as to well embed the slotted portion into the opening of the hollow head while assembling the main base with the hollow head. In this manner, the present invention conduces to obtain a substantial weight without increasing the manufacturing cost and enhance the quality of the integral handle product.

Abstract: A box structure has a plurality of walls positioned and configured to prevent access to an interior space housing merchandise in a secure manner. A first movable wall permits manual access to a frontal portion of the interior space while at the same time moving a barrier strip to prevent manual access to other than said frontal portion of the interior space. A roll-out shelf mounts merchandise supporting modules with pushers to move merchandise toward the front of the structure where ejection mechanisms in each of the modules are able to direct selected items to the front of the structure where they can be accessed by consumers. The ejection process creates a characteristic noise to alert store personnel that products are being dispensed.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for disinfecting an item, for example, a handle for a door or a tap in a toilet facility. The apparatus includes a movable member, e.g., a door handle having a contact surface for being manually engaged to move the movable member; germicide applying means for applying germicide to the surface; and an operating mechanism coupled between the movable member and the germicide applying means and operable in response to movement of the movable member for applying germicide to the contact surface after movement of said movable member. The germicide applying means may be a pump. The operating mechanism may act to prime the pump when the door handle is turned to open the door. The germicide is sprayed over the handle after the handle is released and returns to its initial position. The return movement may be retarded.

Abstract: A hardware fitting for an all-glass door, including a first fitting half arrangeable on an outer side of the door, a second fitting half arrangeable on an inner side of the door, an actuatable nut arranged between the first and second fitting halves, a lock having a locking bolt and arranged between the first and second fitting halves, and a door stop integrated into at least one of the first and second fitting halves. The locking bolt is slidable between a retracted and an extended position in response to a movement of the nut.

Abstract: A multi-piece knob having a cylindrical tubular plastic body with a central hub and a peripheral wall. An annular end wall extends from the peripheral wall and terminates radially short of the central hub to define a passage into the tubular body and around the hub. An undersurface is formed on the annular end wall at the annular passage. An annular ring is seated on the annular end wall of the cylindrical tubular body between the passage and the peripheral wall. A locking top cap is formed having a head with an underside. A number of discrete elongated fingers are formed integrally with the underside of the head of the locking top cap with the elongated fingers spaced from each other and arranged generally in a circle. The elongated fingers extend from the underside of the top cap with each of the fingers terminating in a tip.

Abstract: A hardware piece applied to cabinetry or furniture to facilitate manipulation of doors and drawers or simply to add a decorative touch. The hardware piece has a removable fascia which allows the fascia member to be exchanged for a fascia of different color or design. The hardware piece includes a recess adapted to receive the fascia. A magnetic plate is used to maintain the fascia member within the recess. The magnetic attraction may be overcome in order to replace the fascia member.

Abstract: A system for replacing furniture panels which includes a frame secured to a piece of furniture and a panel which may be inserted or otherwise slid into the frame and secured therein is disclosed. The panel has front and rear surfaces having different appearances and either surface can be exposed. This allows the decor of the furniture to be easily and quickly changed at will.

Abstract: A valve knob is provided with a first confinement slot and a second confinement slot symmetrical to the first confinement slot. Both confinement slots have a first stop wall and a second stop wall to facilitate the confining of the valve knob at ON position and OFF position in conjunction with an arresting block of the valve body.
