Abstract: A method for treating pronator syndrome involves selecting an arm and positioning it with the forearm perpendicular to the upper arm. The hand of the arm is engaged with a grip located inside a bisected working circle, which has an outer perimeter consisting of four quadrants. The fourth quadrant is elliptical and asymmetrical to the others. The grip is designed for hand engagement and includes two d-shaped slots. A resistance band is attached to the body, with one end in the groove, creating tension when used. To exercise the arm, the body is rotated in one direction to increase tension on the band. Releasing tension is achieved by rotating the body in the opposite direction.

Abstract: A decorative serving container system that includes a serving dish and a ring element having a ring element lip with a shape that substantially corresponds to a shape of a serving dish lip, wherein portions of the ring element lip are formed to be positionable around at least a portion of the serving dish lip to provide frictional engagement between portions of said ring element lip and at least a portion of said serving dish lip, such that said ring element is capable of securing a foil pan within said serving dish.

Abstract: A detachable handle includes a flexible elongate member, a pair of swivel clips, and a tubular grip. Each of the swivel clips is coupled to the flexible elongate member. The flexible elongate member is disposed through the tubular grip. The swivel clips are disposed at opposite ends of the tubular grip, and militate against a removal of the flexible elongate member from the tubular grip.

Abstract: A connector device is disclosed for releasably connecting a cord or flexible tube which includes a disk-shaped top plate which has an exit opening for the end of a cord to be retained. A capture cap has a circumferential edge which mates with the top plate. The top plate has a series of indents upon its circumferential edge. A capstan is located between the top plate and capture plate. A cord or flexible tube to be connected is directed through an opening where it enters a helical track in the capture cap. When the capture cap is rotated in a first direction the cord is wrapped around the capstan and captured within the helical track. Rotation in the opposite direction releases the cord. A ratchet capture and release mechanism engages the series of indents to further prevent release of the cord. A retaining device is secured to the top plate for attaching the connector device in a fixed position thereby attaching the cord. Multiple connector devices connect multiple cords or flexible tubes together.

Abstract: This tassel comprises at least a first piece and a second piece, both independent, and attached to respective free ends of operating cords for blinds; and present on the facing surfaces are magnetically attracted first halves and second halves suitable for establishing a retention of tassel parts in a mounting position, to allow said parts of the tassel to separate when a force superior to the force of the magnetic attraction of said first and second halves is applied between the two cords; characterized in that the magnetically attracted first halves are mounted in a protruding position with respect to the surface of said first part.

Abstract: A device for releasably retaining a cord or flexible tube. The device includes a U-shaped yoke and a rotatable handle sized for gripping by the hand of a user. The cord or flexible tube is releasably received by a capture cap and can emanate directly therefrom or be routed to a loop located at the end of the handle in order to alter its orientation.

Abstract: A sanitary handle cover that includes a fabric strip having a first flap attached to a first long edge and a second flap attached to a second long edge, said first and second flaps including fastening means whereby the first flap and the second flap secure together to releasably attach the fabric strip around a handle of a particular appliance in question, wherein a grounding strip disposed interiorly within the fabric strip along a longitudinal axis resists rotation of the device around said handle and prevents the discharge of static electricity through the device, whereby the sanitary handle cover is washable and maintains a sanitary surface upon an underlying handle to which the device is releasably attached.

Abstract: A tassel for blind cords comprising at least two independent parts associated to the ends of the operating cords of blinds and some means to retain the these separate pieces in an assembled position thereby forming a tassel to operate blind cords, which also split apart when force is applied to the cords associated with the parts. The invention consists of means to retain the independent parts that form the tassel, is made of a retention elastic piece that embraces the outside surface of the independent parts and tends to keep them grouped together in an assembled position.

Abstract: A rally towel apparatus comprising a body having first end and a second end. The rally towel apparatus also comprises a first end cap engaged with a first end and a second end cap engaged with a second end. The rally towel apparatus also comprises a cord connected to the first end cap and a cord lock member arranged on the cord. The rally towel apparatus also comprises a wrist strap connected to the second end cap and a rally towel arranged and secured within a loop of the cord.

Abstract: A toolset for marine applications that includes improved handle for buckets that provides an improved flexible gripping strap, and further provides a method of securely attaching the flexible gripping strap to specially formed spiked hooks that attach to a bucket. The spiked hook is inserted into a central channel of the flexible gripping strap. The hook has a distal end with angled spikes that allow the hook to be inserted into the central channel, but are angled such that they cannot be withdrawn. The hook further has a proximal end with an open hook that can be easily attached or detached from a bucket. The tool set further has specially formed wrenches that allow a user to adjust stopcocks that are located in hard to reach locations. The wrenches have open ends and slotted sides to allow them to adjust the stopcocks in multiple ways. That alternative use for the spiked hook is shown which allows it to be used to clean lobsters.

Abstract: A strap attaching section of a folding portable apparatus includes a recessed section arranged on a hinge section of a case configuring the portable apparatus, a strap holder stored in the recessed section, and a coupler for coupling the strap holder and the hinge section. The coupler includes a first pin hole which penetrates the strap holder, a second pin hole formed on the hinge section, a groove formed on an outer surface of the hinge section, and a pin. The groove is provided with a first region whereupon one end of the second pin hole opens, and a second region continued to the first region. A first portion of the pin extends through the first and second pin holes, and a second portion of the pin is arranged in the second region in the groove. A cover is removably attached to the case to cover the groove.

Abstract: An assemblable jerk handle for a lanyard cord including in one embodiment a base portion having a center channel with interior progressive teeth for receiving the lanyard cord and a cap portion for permanently snap-fitting to the base portion to securely grip and therefore retain the lanyard cord within the base portion. In another embodiment, the assemblable jerk handle comprises a base portion having a center channel positioned therethrough for receiving a bifurcated plug that receives the lanyard cord therein and forcibly closes about the lanyard cord to securely grip and therefore retain the lanyard cord within the base portion.

The drawer can be slid between a closed position, within the housing, and an open position, extending outward from the housing. A member for holding one or more individual animal leashes is pivotally mounted on the housing.

Abstract: A hand grip device for carrying articles includes a gripping member and an optional coupling member. The gripping member includes a body with ends that define the maximum body diameter of the gripping member. The longitudinal center of the body defines the minimum body diameter of the gripping member. The coupling member may be a strap that connects the gripping member to the article to be carried. The hand grip device functions as a handle that is lightweight, strong, and disperses the weight of the carried article across the palmar side of a hand.

Abstract: This present invention is a handle with a hidden belt, applying to a handle attached on a portable device, which uses torsion springs to draw the belt into the handle. Thus, a user can not only carry the portable device with the handle, but also shoulder or hang the portable device with the hidden belt of the handle.

Abstract: The invention is a device for coupling and releasing the wrist strap to/from the handgrip of a pole for sporting activities, comprising: a buckle associated with the wrist strap; a seat obtained in the handgrip to house the buckle; means for coupling the buckle comprising an elastic tab that projects from the body of the buckle and a support surface obtained in the seat that cooperate by mutual contact when the buckle is constrained to the handgrip; means for coupling the buckle that can be maneuvered by the user. The releasing means comprise a release lever that can be maneuvered by the user and is housed inside the seat, wherein in said release lever it is possible to identify a central core with a rotation pin, a maneuvering end that can be reached by the user and a release end that cooperates by contact with the elastic tab to move it away from the support surface.

In another embodiment, the assemblable jerk handle comprises a base portion having a center channel positioned therethrough for receiving a bifurcated plug that receives the lanyard cord therein and forcibly closes about the lanyard cord to securely grip and therefore retain the lanyard cord within the base portion.

Abstract: A rope pull bar for pulling rope through conduit, said pull bar having a V-shaped notch or slot on an edge in the center of the bar with a perpendicular post on the bar extending outwardly adjacent the bottom of the V so that a rope may be looped around the post and the rope section from the upper run of the loop is positioned in the V-slot whereby when pulled in the direction opposite the point of the V, the upper run of rope will clamp the loose end of the lower run against the bar and provide a secure hold on the rope for further pulling.

The duct holds the handle to the rope and the duct includes a first end having a first diameter to permit passage of a length of rope and a collar around the length of rope through the first end of the duct. A collar diameter is greater than the rope diameter. The duct also includes a second end opposite the first end with a second diameter larger than the rope diameter but smaller than the collar diameter. The second end permits passage of the rope through the second end but prevent passage of the length of rope containing the collar. At least one slot is provided running along at least a portion of a length of the duct. A handle portion extends from the rope attachment portion.

Abstract: An ergonomic exercise handle having a semicircular arcuate member for connection to a resistive member and a handle grip having a longitudinal centerline that lies on the diameter of the semicircular arcuate member. A cable resistive member can be attached to the arcuate member with a conventional clip or with a special clip fitted with a small roller to reduce friction. The semicircular arcuate member permits the clip to move to a position in linear alignment with a center of the handle grip and the resistive member. Ends of the handle grip are spaced inwardly from ends of the semicircular arcuate member by circling back loop portions extending past the diameter of the arcuate member and inwardly from the arcuate member ends to the handle grip ends. The loop portions provide for a greater range of movement while still maintaining a center point of the arcuate member within the handle grip.

Abstract: Various aspects of the invention provide handles that can be attached to wire-like members. In one exemplary embodiment, a handle generally includes a handle portion, a retaining member, and a key member. The handle portion has a channel and an aperture extending from at least one outer surface of the handle portion into the channel. The channel is configured to receive at least a portion of a wire-like member therein. The retaining member is configured to be received within the channel. The retaining member has an aperture. The key member is configured to be engaged within the handle portion's aperture and the retaining member's aperture. Engagement of the key member within the retaining member's aperture can inhibit the egress of the retaining member from the channel to operatively trap at least a portion of a wire-like member within the channel, and, thereby, attach the handle portion to the wire-like member.

Abstract: A bag handle is disclosed that includes a rigid, elongated body having an upwardly facing top surface, a downwardly facing lower surface, opposing front and back surfaces, and a pair of opposing side surfaces. A pair of hooks extend at each side surface outwardly therefrom proximate the lower surface of the body and generally parallel to each side surface. Preferably each hook extends above the top surface and terminates in a radiused point. A pair of biased locking means each comprise a biasing means, such as a coiled metal spring, and a hook engagement member, such as a glass marble. The hook engagement member protrudes from one side surface and is urged to contact one of the hooks by the biasing means. A method of use is disclosed for selectively engaging and disengaging a plurality of plastic grocery bags with the hooks and the hook engagement means.

Abstract: Various aspects of the invention provide handles that can be attached to wire-like members. In one exemplary embodiment, a handle generally includes a handle portion, a retaining member, and a key member. The handle portion has a channel and an aperture extending from at least one outer surface of the handle portion into the channel. The channel is configured to receive at least a portion of a wire-like member therein. The retaining member is configured to be received within the channel. The retaining member has an aperture. The key member is configured to be engaged within the handle portion's aperture and the retaining member's aperture. Engagement of the key member within the retaining member's aperture can inhibit the egress of the retaining member from the channel to operatively trap at least a portion of a wire-like member within the channel, and, thereby, attach the handle portion to the wire-like member.

Abstract: There is a gripping section with first and second open ends, a ductile member, such as a strap, forming first and second hoops extending from the first and second open ends. The hoops and wrap and tighten around the object. Ends of the ductile member protrude through a hole in the handle. A fastener receives the ends of the ductile member to allow a user to tighten the hoops. There may be a plurality of ductile members. There may be a slot in the gripping section.

Abstract: A lopper shear pull-rope grip includes a closed end provided with a bulge. The through hole of the bulge is connected to the hollow notch of the grip, where a rope can penetrate the through hole. And, a slanting board extends downwards from the through hole. The slanting board is provided with a conductive rim. Moreover, a through notch is formed in the grip under the bulge. A pulley is mounted in the through notch and has a rim. Thus, the pulley can slide smoothly along the slanting board of the grip. When the rope is pulled upwards, the pulley will clamp the rope more compactly so as to adjust and position the rope rapidly for convenient and loose-free usage.

Abstract: A shopping bag carrier includes a carrying handle adapted to be gripped by a user, a hook extending from the handle, and a locking member supported on the hook and engageable with a locking surface of the handle so as to secure the one or more bags within the hook. In one embodiment, the carrier is preferably rigid in construction, and is made as a single, unitary member. In another embodiment, the locking member is preferably locked and unlocked by a release member using a simple action so that a user can perform the operation with one hand.

The gate is opened by grasping the decorative pull and pulling on the string to unlatch the gate.

Abstract: An assortment of decorative gate handle pulling devices which include a right-angled bracket attached to a gate post, a string or cable having one end attached to a gate latch and which extends out the horizontal arm of the bracket, the opposite end of the string being suspended from the end of the horizontal arm and having a decorative gate pull attached thereto. The gate is opened by grasping the decorative pull and pulling on the string to unlatch the gate.

Abstract: A strap mounting space is formed around a boss formed on an upper cover and a lower cover which, when assembled together, form a case for an apparatus. One, or each, of the upper cover and the lower cover is/are formed integrally with a respective boss, preferably at each corner, so that the respective bosses at corresponding, common corners of the upper and lower covers, when assembled, are in an aligned and abutting relationship. A slits is formed in one of the corners of the upper and lower covers, extending around the respective boss(es) thereof, making up a strap mounting space. A screw 9 is inserted into a corresponding axial hole extending through each boss, affording a sufficient strength of the abutting bosses for supporting the case, with the apparatus therein, by a strap received through the strap mounting space.

The handle (10) is a solid unit constructed of plastic, wood, metal, or composite material with no other parts and needing only a rope, strap, or cable to function. Abstract: A removably attachable wheel assembly for article transporting containers is provided for transporting containers such as luggage and other objects not originally equipped with rolling wheels with a rolling means for easier travel. Plastic bases mount to the luggage with the aid of adhesive foam tape or glue. Additionally, a pull strap is connected to the luggage with the aid of an eye hook which is also attached with adhesive foam tape or glue. The rolling wheels are then snapped to the plastic bases and are maintained thereto until positively released. Various size wheels to suit the load encountered can be snapped onto the same base. If the wheels and the strap are no longer needed, they may be easily removed from the base and stored until needed again. The wheel bases and the eye hook would permanently remain with the luggage or other object.

Abstract: A material is used to form a stop at the end of a lashing string. The material is made of a plastic material and takes the form of a long strap, which is rolled up and is provided in two long sides with a plurality of ridges and grooves. The ridges and the grooves are alternately arranged to form a plurality of lashing portions, with each being adhered to the end of the lashing string to form the stop serving to prevent the lashing string from slipping out of a string hole of the paper bag and the like.

Abstract: A new handle for carrying a bag for distributing the weight of the contents of the bag across the hand of a user. The inventive device includes a saddle member that has a top, a bottom, a pair of end edges, and a pair of side edges that extend between the end edges. A pair of sides upwardly extend from the side edges of the saddle member to form a bag receiving channel between them such that a carrying loop of a bag, or a plurality of carrying loops of one or several bags, rests on the top of the saddle member between the sides of the saddle member. A cover member covers the saddle member and is removably coupleable to the saddle member. The cover member has first and second ends, upper and lower surfaces extending between the first and second ends, and a pair of opposite sidewalls that downwardly extend from the lower surface of the cover member.

Abstract: An end tassel and a separator for blind cords, each of which releasably secures one of the multitude cords in position. The end tassel receives the cord through an opening in which the cord is secured. One such cord, however, on the end tassel is permanently secured in the event the other cords are loosened. If a child or pet should swallow the end tassel, because the one cord is permanently secured, the end tassel can be pulled from the mouth of the child. The separator similarly has openings for multiple cords which permit them to pass upwardly and downwardly. One such opening, however, is securely anchored to the cord to provide for alignment as well as release and loss or being swallowed. In an alternative embodiment, a single cord is permanently secured through a hole in the underside tassel and knotted or otherwise secured in place. The tassel may be of various sizes and so may be the cords.

Abstract: A handle assembly comprises two handle pieces. Each handle piece comprises a left section having left and right ends and inside and outside faces, a right section having left and right ends and inside and outside faces, and a center section containing a notch. The center section connects the right end of the left section to the left end of the right section in a generally diagonal manner. The handle pieces are capable of interlocking such that the center section of each handle piece fits into the notch of the other handle piece, the inside face of the left section of one handle piece is situated against the inside face of the left section of the other handle piece, and the inside face of the right section of one handle piece is situated against the inside face of the right section of the other handle piece. The handle assembly can be incorporated into a bag comprising two handle straps, each handle strap being associated with a different handle piece.
