A locking element is located within the grip portion and a lower shaft having an inner surface that is in frictional contact with the locking element is also disclosed. The locking element is configured to engage the inner surface of the lower shaft. A total length of the golf club shaft is adjustable by a distance of at least one inch and a total weight of the golf club shaft in a weight zone is less than 110 g. The weight zone is defined as a region of the golf club shaft extending from the end point of the grip portion up to 11? along a central axis of the golf club shaft toward a tip portion of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 9220843
Abstract: A medical syringe with an extendible plunger rod is provided which facilitates injection of a large volume of material, for example, a dermal filler. The rod may include an outer plunger rod, an inner plunger rod, a compression spring configured to exert force tending to push the inner plunger rod in a direction distal to the outer plunger rod, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism prevents movement of the inner plunger rod relative to the outer plunger rod while both the inner and outer plunger rods are depressed, until the outer plunger rod has been depressed a first predetermined distance.

Abstract: A retractable bar is provided to include an inner tube and an outer tube sleeved onto the inner tube. A positioning assembly has a sliding block movably disposed in the outer tube, a locating pin axially inserted in a guiding slot of the sliding block and abutted against an abutment portion of the sliding block, and a knob connected to the sliding block through a linking member for driving the sliding block to move. By this way, when the sliding block is driven by the linking member to move along an axial direction of the outer tube, the locating pin will be pushed by the abutment portion of the sliding block to disengaged from a locating hole of the inner tube, such that the inner and outer tubes can be moved relative to each other, thereby achieving adjustment of the length of the retractable bar.

Abstract: A detector with a telescopic carrier/guide rod at which a measuring probe is disposed at one end, wherein the carrier/guide rod features at least two tubes longitudinally movable inside one another, in which respectively two tubes disposed adjacently in radial direction form an outer tube and an inner tube, whereby the respective outer tube at its overlapping tube end facing the measuring probe features a clamping means for engaging the inner tube. In accordance with this invention, the clamping means is formed as a clamping device that features a profile clamp with a quick-locking device. The profile clamp comprises a holding ring with two half shell-shaped clamping ring segments that are interconnected flexibly on one side and on the opposite side they can be clamped together with a clamping lever.

The second pole member is selectively moved between extended and retracted positions with respect to said first pole member by a battery powered drive motor. The drive motor is mounted within a handle attached to the inner end of the first pole member. A coupling mechanism interconnects the handle to the first pole member which permits the first pole member to be selectively rotated without rotating the handle so that the control switch on the handle is always located in a convenient position. The pole also includes limit switches for controlling the retraction and extension of the second pole member.

Abstract: A bicycle riding training handle is provided that is operably attachable to the post of a bicycle seat without removing the same. The assembly utilizes a quick connect cam locking means that secures around the outer portion of the seat post, wherefrom the elongated handle curves upward and backward toward a standing user. The attachment end of the handle affixes to the seat post of the bicycle and the gripping end is held by a standing user for balance support and for controlling the speed of the bicycle. Optionally extending from the attachment end of the handle is a secondary frame attachment member, which pivotably attaches to the bicycle frame in front of or behind the seat post to prevent rotation of the handle during use. Finally, the elongated handle is provided in a telescoping design to allow the handle position to be adjusted for standing users of different size.
