Abstract: An umbrella handle includes a tubular member having an inclined bottom wall, and a housing having an axle extended from an inclined upper wall for rotatably engaging with the inclined bottom wall of the tubular member and for allowing the housing to be rotated relative to the tubular member to different directions and for allowing the housing to be folded and inclined relative to the tubular member to different folding statuses, a flashlight device is attached to the housing for facing or directing toward various or different directions and for lighting the environment when the housing is pivoted or rotated relative to the tubular member to different or various directions.

Abstract: The invention is a sports safety grip for use with ski poles, hiking poles, bicycle grips, or motorcycle grips that have internal threading upon each end leading into a hollow chamber. A corresponding tool with external threading can be screwed onto the handle grip and includes a tool comprising a tracking device, compass, and a plurality of tools.

Abstract: A luggage grip includes two fixing seats spaced from each other, and a flexible holding bar mounted between the two fixing seats and having two opposite end portions each movably mounted on the respective fixing seat. Thus, the holding bar is pulled upward to have a curved shape for use with the user and is retractable to have a flat shape when not in use, thereby facilitating the user operating and folding the holding bar. In addition, the luggage grip has a simplified construction to decrease the cost of fabrication. Further, the luggage grip is assembled easily and quickly.

The door handle assembly may further include an illumination source for illuminating the handle portion and/or a heating element for heating the handle portion.

Abstract: A light-producing structure for a wheeled traveling case assembly includes a mini generator having a rotary shaft with a frictional wheel connected thereto to frictionally contact with an adjacent wheel of the assembly. When the wheel rotates, the frictional wheel and the rotary shaft are brought to rotate, enabling the mini generator to output currents, which are supplied to light-emitting elements provided on handle grip and traveling case of the assembly in order to give light. Each wheel of the assembly is internally provided with an induction coil and a plurality of small bulbs. A ring-shaped magnetic rotor is fixedly mounted on an axle of each wheel to locate in a central hole of the induction coil. When the wheel rotates, the induction coil rotates relative to the magnetic rotor to generate induced currents, which are supplied to the small bulbs in the wheel for the bulbs to give light.

Abstract: The invention is an illuminated grab handle assembly. The assembly includes a generally curved handle, an illumination source positioned remotely from, and for illuminating, the generally curved handle. The illumination source provides the curved handle with a substantially uniform, fully illuminated appearance. The assembly also includes at least one base portion to which at least one end of the generally curved handle is secured. Mounting means secure the base portion to a mounting surface, and an opaque overcap covers the base portion and obscures the mounting means. The illuminated grab handle assembly includes either a single lamp or two lamps acting as the illumination source. The generally curved handle has a pair of ends. The portion of the generally curved handle between the pair of ends is both solid, and has a generally cylindrical cross section. Alternatively, this portion of the curved handle can be tubular.

The device consists of a cap that carries identifying indicia in the form of a selected color or combination of colors, letters and/or numbers, pattern, shape, or the like. The kit includes a plurality of such caps (all preferably carrying the same indicia), instructions for installing the caps on a tool, and (optionally) adapters for installing the caps on differently-sized handles.

Abstract: In combination with a sewer and drain pipe plug testing device including an expandable plug having a flexible strap-like member secured at a one end of the expandable plug which enables removal of the expandable plug from a sewer or drain pipe after testing is complete. The improvement comprises a handle-like member secured to the opposite end of the strap-like member. The handle-like member would have a predetermined size which is at least large enough to prevent entry into the open sewer and drain pipe. There is at least one aperture formed through the handle-like member that has a predetermined shape substantially identical to a nut-like portion of a plug member disposed in the sewer and drain pipe to enable tightening and loosening the plug member into and from, respectively, the sewer and drain pipe. Also, there is at least one round threaded aperture drilled into the handle-like member that intersects the aperture formed into the handle-like member for engaging the nut of a threaded closure plug.

Abstract: A removable grip for a five-gallon bucket that includes a prying tool for removing a lid of the bucket. The grip includes an elongated body in which a channel is formed. The channel includes a centrally disposed widened portion that is configured to accept an existing grip formed on a bail of the bucket handle. The channel also includes narrow portions at each end of the widened portion that accept the bail. Flexible tabs within each narrow portion lock the grip onto the bail. The prying tool includes a flat end and a hooked end. The flat end can be used to pry open the lid of a paint bucket and can be a screwdriver end. The hooked end can be used to pry up the tangs of the lid of the five-gallon bucket to remove the lid.

Abstract: The control knob engages, on its interior, a translucent polycarbonate jewel body collar assembly of a first color, such as white, which, in turn, provides a housing for a translucent polycarbonate jewel LED holder assembly. The LED emits light, possibly modified by the jewel LED holder assembly, of a second color, such as blue or blue-green. This second color can be varied in intensity and hue by varying the polarity and resistance of the LED. The jewel body collar assembly includes a collar to engage the interior cylindrical support section of the control knob and a housing assembly to engage the jewel LED holder assembly. The jewel body collar assembly further includes a ridge which protrudes through a slot in the sidewall and front face of the control knob thereby forming an indicator for the control knob. In ambient illumination, such as during the day, the indicator appears to be the color of the jewel body collar assembly, such as white.
