Abstract: Disclosed herein is a folding security window, in which an end of the security window is mounted to a window sill, the other end of the security window is connected to a window, a height-adjustable movable part is mounted to a vertical pole of the security window, a connecting means for connecting or disconnecting the security window to or from the window is provided, and the folded security window is not exposed to the outside. When the window is opened or closed, the security window is unfolded or folded, so that the security window does not spoil the appearance of the city. The movable parts mounted to upper and lower ends of the vertical pole enhance the adaptability and movability of the security window. The security window efficiently performs its original function without hindering ventilation, views, or light admittance.
Abstract: A roller chain and sprocket drive with a randomized sprocket which modulates the roller position on the sprocket by varying the radial seating position of the roller while maintaining a constant chordal dimension between seated rollers. The roots between teeth of the sprocket have radii that vary between a nominal radius and a maximum radius and a minimum radius. This variation or randomization is intended to provide a noise modulation effect while avoiding the negative effects of high impact from conventional randomized sprockets.
Abstract: A panel assembly includes a number of rectangular panels each carrying solar cells or a cooling radiator on one of the two main surfaces, where the panels are interconnected mutually by hinges such that the assembly from a first state, in which the panels are folded into a package, can be brought into a second state in which the package is unfolded and the panels are situated alongside each other. A torsion element substantially extends across the other main surface of each panel from a first position on the hinge axis between the panel and the adjoining panel at one side, to a second position on the hinge axis between the panel and the adjoining panel at the other side, whereby the torsion element at or near the first and second positions is attached to the respective adjoining panel.

Abstract: A vertically sliding adjustable office panel system that allows each panel to change height individually or in unison by virture of a panel within a panel sliding assembly. The panels are connected side by side to form office cubicles. The space dividing system adjusts vertically by inserting or removing connectors. This system allows a closed office cubicle system to become a partially or completely open workstation by raising or lowering any or all of the panels.
