Abstract: A cord lock for use in a window covering for selectively locking lift cords in a predetermined position includes a housing adapted to be fitted in the head rail of the window covering with the housing having a pivotal locking lever with a cord gripping formation at one end adjacent a locking surface on the housing and a cord guiding passage at the opposite end through which the lift cords can pass. The locking lever is pivoted about a pivot pin that is located between the cord gripping formation and the cord guiding passage so that the cord gripping formation can move toward and away from engagement with the locking surface with pivoting movement of the locking lever about the pivot pin. A fixed guiding surface is also provided around which the lift cords pass for dependable operation of the cord lock.

Abstract: A Venetian blind operated with a non-pull cord structure includes a blind embodiment, a lower beam having a pivot hole disposed at the bottom side of each end thereon, and a control unit and a sealing cap to be sequentially adapted to each end of the lower beam thereof wherein the control unit has a housing cavity indented at one side thereof to which the sealing cap is joined at one side in sealing engagement therewith. At one inner side of the housing cavity thereof is disposed a sloped and serrated guiding face correspondingly matched to a retaining gear element which is abutted against a retaining shaft adapted to a coupling rod and a fixing rod of the housing cavity and the sealing cap thereof respectively to clamp tight a left/right retaining cord of the blind embodiment there-between before the left/right retaining cord is led through the pivot hole of the lower beam and fixed to a windowsill at the bottom end thereof.

Abstract: A child safety blind having a head rail, a bottom rail, at least one ladder tape, a plurality of slats, a tilt wand and a pair of registry clips. At least one ladder tape extends horizontally between the head rail and the bottom rail, and the ladder tape comprising a plurality of steps. The slats extend horizontally between the head rail and the bottom rail, and each of the slats extends through one corresponding step of the ladder tape. The tilt wand is linked with ladder tape and operative to operative to drive the steps of the ladder tape to turn the slats with an angle. The pair of registry clips is operative to lift the bottom rail and the slats at two side portions thereof while holding the bottom rail and the slats therein.

Abstract: A non-pull cord operated Venetian blind includes a blind embodiment having left/right retaining cords led through both lateral sides thereof and fixed to a windowsill at the bottom ends thereof, and a pair of clamps securely sealed at both ends of a lower beam to clamp tight the retaining cords thereby. The clamp is made up of a movable plate and a fixed plate with a spring element attached there-between. A serrated retaining section and a serrated fixing section are disposed at the corresponding inner side of the movable plate and the fixed plate thereof respectively, tightly engaged via the spring element for holding the left/right retaining cords therein in clamping location, and a step-wise coupling section is disposed at the outer side of the fixed plate thereon to securely fix the clamps thereof onto both ends of the lower beam thereby.

Abstract: A headrail for a venetian type blind or pleated shade has an insert that carries a cord lock. The insert fits into the end of the headrail and is carried by a slot or rib on the sidewalls of the headrail. A pair of pockets are provided on the insert. The pockets are positioned so that one pocket is adjacent each sidewall when the insert is attached to the end of a headrail. The pockets are sized and configured to receive a cord lock such that the cord lock can be easily removed from one pocket and placed in the other pocket by an installer. The pockets preferably are oriented so that a cord passing through the cord lock will run along a path that is not parallel to the sidewalls but is at an angle of about 10°.

The lift cord is folded up and inserted through the cord hole of the cord stopper to form a loop which is hung on the cord-holding portion of the cord stopper.

Abstract: A lift lock for blind is disclosed to include a shaft pivoted to a headrail of a blind for synchronous rotation with a lift rod of the blind. The shaft has a constraint device. A switching mechanism is mounted inside the headrail of the blind and has a sliding member movable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The sliding member has an engagement device, which engages the constraint device to stop the shaft from rotary motion when the sliding member moved to the locking position, or is disengaged from the constraint device for enabling the shaft to be rotated with the lift rod when the sliding member moved to the unlocking position. And, a control mechanism has a pull rod for pulling by the user to switch the switching mechanism between the locking position and the unlocking position.

Abstract: An adjustable window blind cord stopper includes a locking guider slidably connected on a lift cord of the window blind assembly by constructing an adjustable knot at a guiding through slot of the locking guider. In which, in an unlocked position that the adjustable knot is normally loosen with respect to the locking guider, the cord stopper is adapted for sliding along the cord in such a manner that when the adjustable knot is positioned above the guiding through slot, the cord stopper is adapted to slide downwardly along the lift cord, and when the adjustable knot is positioned below the guiding through slot, the cord stopper is adapted to slide upwardly along the lift cord. Thereby, the folding or unfolding condition of the slats of the window blind assembly can be locked up by sliding the cord stopper between an upper position and a lower position.

Abstract: A cord lock desirably for a window blind assembly adapted to be releasably locked to a cord, such as a vertical cord of the window blind assembly, at alternate locations along the length of the cord. The cord lock desirably includes a first member and a second member that are hingedly connected together in any suitable manner for opening and closing the cord lock. The cord lock defines a channel for receiving the cord and includes structure for engaging the cord within the channel to releasably lock the cord lock to the cord when the cord lock is in a closed position. The channel may be elongated and defined by the second member, and the cord engaging structure may be integral or otherwise associated with the first member. The cord may be received within the channel when the cord lock is in a closed position to lock the cord lock to the cord and desirably also to substantially enclose the channel so as to define a passage with two open ends.

Abstract: A lift cord locking device has a main frame, a roller, a locking frame and a catch frame. The main frame has a base plate and two side walls. Each of the side walls has an engaging segment extending outward from the top of the side wall. The roller is rotatably mounted between the side walls, and the roller is located below a middle position of the side walls. Accordingly, the main frame can be positioned in the headrail of the Venetian blind in different directions. The use of the locking device is versatile. With a low position of the roller, the angle of the lift cord is smooth even when the locking device is close to the tilt rod support. This can keep the lift cord from contacting the other object. The safety of using the lift cord locking device is improved.
