    Abstract: A telescopic louvered panel and system for enhancing cold aisle and hot aisle passive stack effect cooling efficiency in a data center is provided. The panel has a panel frame with a pair of vertical side walls. Each of the side walls has a back flange portion with mounting apertures for mounting the panel frame to either one of a computer cabinet or server door. A series of horizontally telescoping blade members have opposite ends which are pivotally connecting the side walls. The blade members are capable of slidably adjusting a width dimension of the frame, and pivoting on a horizontal plane. A vertical tilt bar links the blades together so that the blades push to open and close in unison.

The inverted trolley is connectable to a track mounted trolley, preferably by a threaded hole which receives a pendant bolt from the track mounted trolley. The inverted trolley is installed within a channel at the upper end of the wall panel with the rollers engaging the wall panel top frame thus supporting the wall panel. The panel top frame includes a slot through which connection to the track mounted trolley is made. The assembly also includes a trolley retainer which limits the range of motion of the inverted trolley.

A method for opening an auxiliary door as described above includes the steps of sliding the main door to an open position, thereby gradually moving the bearing assembly toward the vertical edge, keeping the auxiliary door in contact with the bearing assembly as the bearing assembly moves toward the vertical edge with the spring, thereby gradually opening the auxiliary door.

The filaments are arranged upon the elements so that each filament, upon reaching a lateral side of an element, is led into a groove on the opposite surface of the array. If the lateral side lies at the outmost edge of the array, the grooves are of different direction, while at lateral sides forming a line of contact, the grooves run in the same direction. On one or both surfaces of the elements, markings, numbers, letters, text or pattern elements may be found, for differentiating and determining the elements' positions.

The filaments lie within the grooves in a selected pattern, with filaments forming anchor points at plate sides at which the filament wraps around the side of the plate to enter a groove from the other group of grooves on the opposite side of the plate, and hinge points at plate sides where the filament passes from one plate to an abutting plate, proceeding from one surface to the opposite surface in doing so. Manipulation of the resulting array allows two such plates to rotate mutually about an axis defined by hinge points lying on their abutting sides.
