Abstract: A freestanding framework having a plurality of generally vertically disposed support columns supporting a plurality of generally horizontally disposed overhead beams. The overhead beams include a portion that provides a raceway for the delivery of an electrical conduit, and a lower portion formed as an open-sided rail. One or more barrier members are connected with the open-sided rail.

Abstract: The invention concerns an arrangement for sliding doors of the type where a door leaf (3) comprises a number (n) of interlinked and jointed sections (4:1-4:n) in which adjoining sections are able to rotate around a joint axis (A) from a position in which the sections are in alignment with each other to a relative angled position, whereby the door leaf can slide in the door opening (6) in guides (8, 9), each of which comprising a first and a second interacting guide element (8′, 8″; 9′, 9″) arranged on two opposing end edges (22, 23) of the door leaf and the corresponding sides of the door opening. To obtain a sound insulating door, there is an elastically deformable material between the adjoining and relatively flexible sections (4:1-4:n) to separate the sections from each other.

Abstract: A hanger assembly for a sliding screen door comprises a horizontally mounted track that fits within a standard door header and roller assembly, preferably one roller assembly per side of the screen door. Each roller assembly comprises at least a roller, and preferably two per roller assembly, and a holder that connects the roller(s) to the screen door. The holder includes a connecting bar portion that attaches to the roller(s) and a generally U shaped bracket portion that extends downwardly from the connecting bar portion, whereby the screen door is positioned and held snugly within the U shaped portion. A side of the bracket U shaped portion includes a slot for vertically and/or horizontally adjusting the screen by positioning of attachment means through the slot such as a screw.

Abstract: A clamping device for panel elements (3) portable along a top and bottom guide rail (1, 2), the elements being fitted with a guide (4, 5) mounted on the top and bottom edge of an element, the guide rails (1, 2) being provided with a pivoting point for the element (3), at which the element (3) is pivotable relative to a pivot spindle (6) constituted by a guide (4) on the top edge of the element and a guide (5) on the bottom edge of the element, at least one of the guides (4, 5), which constitute the pivot spindle (6), being adapted to set in a clamped position in the guide rail (1, 2) as the element (3) is pivoted relative to said pivot spindle (6). The guide (4) is adapted to clamp in place includes a locking member (7) with a circular-segment shapped cross section, adapted to be non-rotatable relative to the element (3) and having a straight portion (8) which is aligned essentially in parallel with the guide rails (1, 2) as the element (3) travels along the guide rails.

Abstract: A system for suspension in elongated bearing rails (1) of plate-shaped sound-absorbing elements (2) in such a manner that the elements, if desired, can be taken down for cleaning and disinfecting purposes. Sound-absorbing elements (2) are suspended in the bearing rails (1) by wheels (3). In this manner each plate-shaped element (2) can be moved along the carrier rail (1) and taken down at the end of the rail for cleaning and disinfecting purposes, and particular scaffoldings at various locations inside the factory building are no longer required.

Abstract: Apparatus for use in mounting a door on an overhead track comprising a carriage assembly constructed and arranged to be moved horizontally along the track in such a way as to limit upward movement thereof, and a door mounted assembly constructed and arranged to be mounted on an upper edge of the door so as to be moved with the door. The door mounted assembly is movable with the door (1) into an initial position wherein a locking member on the carriage assembly is in an initial vertically aligned position with respect to a locking member receiving opening on the door mounted assembly and (2) from the initial position upwardly with a snap action into a locking position wherein the locking member is in a locking position within the opening.

Abstract: A furniture system is particularly adapted to support group activities in open plans, and the like. A plurality of columns support an overhead framework on the floor of a building in a freestanding fashion at a predetermined elevation, generally above average user height. A plurality of individual panels are provided, wherein each panel is constructed to permit easy, manual, bodily translation of the same by an adult user. A hanger arrangement is associated with the overhead framework, and cooperates with connectors on the panels to detachably suspend the panels at various locations along the overhead framework. The panels are manually reconfigurable between many different arrangements to efficiently and effectively support different group activities. Preferably, the panels are capable of providing a partitioning function to visually divide at least a portion of the workspace, and/or a display function to facilitate group communications.
