Abstract: Present disclosure relates to an adjustable roller shade. Adjustable roller shade includes: roller shade fabric winding shaft, weight, movable pulley, loop traction rope, a first and a second winders, and a first and a second tensioning wheels. Roller shade fabric is wound on roller shade fabric winding shaft forming upper edge of adjustable roller shade. Weight is attached to bottom of roller shade fabric forming lower edge of adjustable roller shade. Movable pulley is fixedly attached to one end of the roller shade fabric winding shaft. Loop traction rope is wound around the movable pulley, the first and second winders, and the first and second tensioning wheels. A driving motor drives first winder to rotate in different combination of directions to raise or lower upper edge and lower edge of adjustable roller shade, resulting adjustable roller shade to be opened or closed freely from both upper and lower edges.
Abstract: A shade configured to be rolled up or down by a user includes a plurality of slats, a plurality of weaving cords which attach the plurality of slats together, at least one strap including a top end and a bottom end, the top end being attached to one of the plurality of slats at a back side of the shade and the bottom end being a free end including a connector. A method of using the shade includes rolling up the shade to a first rolled up position and securing the rolled up portion of the shade by wrapping the strap around the rolled up portion and securing the strap to a front side of the shade. A fastener may also be used to secure a rolled up portion of the shade.
Abstract: A tension device for a corded-loop drive system has a base with a sprocket on the base such that the cord loop travels over the sprocket. At least one resilient finger has a first end attached to the base and a free end. Each finger is sized and positioned to engage the cord loop when the tension device is not properly mounted to a wall or window frame and prevent movement of the cord loop around the sprocket. There is a hole in the finger through which a screw passes. When the base is placed on a mounting surface and the screw is driven into the mounting surface, the free end of the finger will have moved from the first position to a second position away from the cord so that the cord loop may move around the sprocket and the window covering can be fully raised and fully lowered.
