Abstract: A covering for an architectural covering is provided. The covering may include a multiple stage spring assembly. The spring assembly may include a non-rotatable first member, a first spring including a first end portion and a second end portion, and a second spring including a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion of the first spring may be coupled to the first member. The first end portion of the second spring may be coupled to the second end portion of the first spring to rotate with the second end portion of the first spring.

Abstract: A covering for an architectural opening is provided. The covering may include a roller rotatable about a longitudinal axis, a shade associated with the roller, and an operating system operably associated with the roller. The operating system may include a base, a drive mechanism, a transmission, an actuator arm, and an engagement arm. The drive mechanism may be associated with the base to provide an input torque. The transmission may be associated with the drive mechanism to selectively transmit the input torque to the roller. The actuator arm may be associated with the base to indirectly set a rotation direction of the roller. The engagement arm may be associated with the base and engageable with the transmission.

Abstract: A winding device for a cordless roller blind includes a mounting seat, a winding unit and a connecting mechanism. The mounting seat is mountable on a supporting structure. The connecting mechanism is for connecting removably the winding unit to the mounting seat in such a manner that the winding unit is upright when connected to the mounting seat. The connecting mechanism includes a first connecting set that is disposed on one of a casing of the winding unit and the mounting seat, and at least two second connecting sets that are disposed on the other of the casing and the mounting seat. The first connecting set is removably engageable with one of the second connecting sets so as to connect removably the winding unit to the mounting seat.

Abstract: A retractable safety gate has a mounting assembly, a control assembly, a delaying assembly, an operating assembly, a blocking cloth, a grip assembly and a receiving assembly. The control assembly has a controller, a ratchet unit and a spiral spring. The spiral spring is connected between the controller and the ratchet unit. Thus, the controller is pulled back to the original position to be closed by the spiral spring, thereby reducing number of the components such that the retractable safety gate has a simplified structure.

Abstract: A retractable window covering panel including spaced apart parallel sheets of flexible fabric with vanes adhesively secured therebetween. The covering includes a roller or head rail with a wrinkle and buckle compensating structure such as longitudinal lobes or ribs to prevent creasing, wrinkling, or buckling of the window covering when rolled up. The head rail has means for attaching the window covering to insure proper alignment of the window covering. A bottom rail is secured to one or both sheets. An anti-skew device is provided.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and an apparatus for mounting and deployment of retractable covering devices, in particular, light control window covering including a lobed head rail to prevent creasing and/or skewing of the window covering when rolled up, the head rail having means for attaching the window covering which insures proper alignment of the window covering. Also included are a bottom rear rail having an antiskewing device which comprises a slidable weight for compensating for skewed roll up; a flip-catch device for preventing wrong-way roll up of the window covering; and a top-catch mechanism for preventing both wrong-way roll up and over rotation in the proper roll up direction.
