Abstract: A method for producing a fencing material including the steps of: providing a border material having an interior surface; providing a mesh material having a front and a back; treating the interior surface of the border material to produce a tacky border material surface; placing a portion of the front and/or the back of the mesh material against the tacky border material surface; pressing the tacky border material surface and the mesh material together; and thermally bonding at least some portion of the front and the back of the mesh material with the interior surface of the border material. The border material being a polyvinyl chloride, the mesh being a polyvinyl chloride material and/or a vinyl coated material.

Abstract: A tonneau cover assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a cover and a longitudinally extending rail located adjacent a sidewall of the truck bed. The longitudinally extending rail includes an attachment member. The attachment member extends longitudinally along with the rail and at least a portion of the attachment member is located over a portion of the bed. The cover includes a stiffener located adjacent the attachment member of the longitudinally extending rail.

Abstract: A car window and door guard has an upper or window portion configured to be mounted over the window frame surrounding the window of a car door, and a lower or door portion or cover configured to be lie over the door panel. The window portion has a front panel and a rear panel to form a sleeve. The window portion is generally see-through or transparent. The door includes an upper strip or section and a series of window tabs. Each window tab has a generally flat or planar portion extending from an elongated upper channel portion. The channel portion captures the door window slot or surround to prevent the window tab from being moved upward during the raising of the window. The door portion also has a lower section extending downwardly from the upper section that drapes over the car's door panel to protect the door panel.

Abstract: An inflatable curtain device for protecting occupants in a motor vehicle includes an inflatable curtain adapted to be folded or rolled in an undeployed condition and inflated in a deployed condition, and the inflatable curtain is formed from at least a first and a second fabric layer. The inflatable curtain device further includes at least one portion of one of the first and second fabric layers having a permanent magnet region, which is magnetically attracted to at least one of a second region of the vehicle or a second region of one of the first and second fabric layers thereby provides a retention of the inflatable curtain in a folded or rolled configuration in an installation position with the vehicle and retains the inflatable curtain in the rolled or folded configuration.

Abstract: A hem bar assembly adapted to secure to a shade material of a roller shade that selectively covers or uncover an architectural opening. The hem bar assembly comprises a first hem bar portion adapted to attach to a second hem bar portion. The first hem bar portion comprises a longitudinal flexible locking member recessed in the inner wall of the first hem bar portion and comprising a channel longitudinally extending therein. The hem bar assembly further comprises a longitudinal spline comprising a longitudinal male plug adapted to wedge and retain the shade material within the locking member channel of the first hem bar portion. The hem bar assembly is configured to attach to the shade material without welding and in exposed, half-wrap, or full-wrap configurations.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for an installable pet door. The device may comprise a door, a knob, a plurality of windows, a frame, and a hinge. The knob may comprise a latch for secure closing. When the pet door comprises a hinge, the hinge may be inserted into a hinge recess so that the door may be securely locked. The orientation of the one or more elements of the pet door system may be predetermined, interchangeable, or customizable. The door may open from, slide into, revolve within, or move in some other non-limiting equivalent way from or relative to the frame. The frame may comprise a sensor. When the frame comprises a sensor, the sensor may interface with an external device, such as a doormat, to operate the door automatically as a result of motion, temperature, or other non-limiting sensible feature or method.

The sensor is coupled to the storage bag and is configured to sense a position of the storage bag. A sound source device is coupled to the storage bag and is configured to issue an auditory alert based on the sensed position of the storage bag.

Abstract: A window security assembly includes a plurality of first brackets that is each mountable on a window in a wall of a building. A plurality of second brackets is each mountable on the window in the wall of the building. A plurality of fasteners is each extended through a respective one of the apertures in a respective one of the first brackets and the second brackets. In this way the first brackets and the second brackets are coupled to the window. A panel is positionable in the first brackets and the second brackets when the first brackets and the second brackets are positioned on the window. The panel is comprised of an impact resistant material to inhibit an intruder from gaining access through the window.

Abstract: A pet access control system according to various aspects of the present technology may comprise a door unit interoperable with a security panel holder. The door unit covers a passage through a structure, such as through the wall or door of a building. The door unit may include a connector that may be mounted on a legacy security panel holder or a dedicated mounting system for the door unit. The door unit may operate in conjunction with a pet identification system to automatically identify and grant access only to authorized pets.

Abstract: A protective cover includes a sleeve which overlies the entirety of the inside and outside of a vehicle window and has a peripheral seal which seals against the frame for the window which is integral with the vehicle body. A sock-like sleeve encloses the vehicle side mirror and a large protective portion overlies the painted door structure below the window. Fore and aft straps have fasteners on their ends which allow fastening to fastener halves mounted inside the front and rear wheel wells of the vehicle.

The flood vent further includes a first float positioned within the door in a location in-between the first face and a second float. Additionally, the first float is configured to allow the door to pivot in a first direction. The flood vent further includes the second float positioned within the door in a location in-between the second face and the first float. Furthermore, the second float is configured to allow the door to pivot in a second direction.

The seal member is a flexibly resilient member configured to close the open top of the mixing bowl when the stand mixer is in a closed position, and includes a wide surface for accommodating mixing bowls of various sizes.

When the sunshade is coupled on the ladder portion, the frame leans on the confining wall and the first platform and is attracted by the magnet. The first platform corresponds to the junction of the sunshade screen and the frame.

The spring-loaded cable tensioning device is deployed to tighten the cable around the frame and secure the sheet to the frame.

Abstract: The invention is a detachable insect screen system that uses a zipper as the attaching means of the detachable panel. The insect screen system also incorporates a permanent panel that encompasses the detachable panel. The permanent panel connects to the surrounding structure and has an opening with the corresponding teeth for the zipper assembly. An alternative embodiment may use a plurality of snap buttons, hook and grommets, or hook and loop fastening means, as opposed to a zipper in order to make ingress and egress of the insect screen assembly.

By coupling a transmission axle with a transmission means located at one side of the bead chain means a concurrent transmission can be formed. Thereby the bead chain can aid retraction of the shade assembly through the transmission means to reduce transmission load of the bead chain means. The bead chain means of a suitable loading capability can be selected according to the weight of the shade assembly to reduce the load of the transmission means to facilitate extension of the shade assembly.

Abstract: A temporary replacement allows a sheet of material to be affixed in place of the glass portion of a vehicle door window. The sheet of material may also be held in place using magnetic strips, that effectively fasten the material to the metal portion of the vehicle door. The material used may be transparent, translucent, or a mesh design, that allows the free flow of air. The temporary replacement window may have a single sheet configuration, or have a bag like configuration. The single sheet configuration is placed on the outer or external side of the vehicle window, with the sheet wrapping around the window frame. An elastic strap, defined around the sheet's peripheral edge restricts the diameter of its opening to a measurement less than the window frame. A bottom elastic strip may be used to hold the bottom of the sheet against the bottom of the window frame. Another configuration uses a bag, having a mouth that is able to allow the insertion of the vehicle window frame.

Abstract: Protective shrouds for temporarily protecting window assemblies, bathroom fixtures, and diverse prefabricated modules used in construction. The shrouds are fabricated from translucent plastic sheet material of polypropylene or polyethylene. A lower open port is selectively blocked by a foldable ventilation panel held in a deployed state by magnets. Rear mounted adhesive strips affix the shroud to the window. Top and side strips are bifurcated to enable rapid adjustments in height and length. When the tear away strips are removed, the exposed adhesive surface is pressed upon the target structure. Slight dimensional adjustments are made by pinching the sheet together, forming creases aligned with strip bifurcations, to gather material and shorten the shroud length or width. During subsequent dry-walling, shroud edges are captivated by wall board segments. Afterwards, the exposed junction between covered shroud and adjacent sheet rock portions is cut, and the shroud is torn away and discarded.

Abstract: A portable fire curtain system to provide a cloak to cover a vented opening. When deployed it will alleviate the incoming wind, which is fueling the fire. The fire curtain is made of one sheet of a fire resistant or fire proof material that is folded and sewn together. Encapsulated within the fire curtain are 6 bars of high-tempered aluminum running laterally. Each corner of the fire curtain has holes that are drilled through the top and bottom bars. Four 5 foot cable leaders with loops, (one to each corner) will be secured to these holes. Two 40 foot ropes with snaps on all ends will be connected to these cable leaders to be used in the deployment. The ropes are packed in two rope deployment bags in order to prevent the ropes from tangling.

A method for manufacturing the frame members includes providing a fixture with spaced apart first, second and third surfaces. A hanger bracket is mounted to the vertical frame core member and is positioned in the fixture such that the hanger bracket engages the first surface.

Abstract: A magnetic customized garage door screen includes a screen surrounded by a border. The border includes magnetic strips that are designed to interface with metal strips located on a garage door. The magnetic strips can be secured to the border using adhesives and the metal strips can be secured to the door frame using double-sided tape. The door screen can also include a zipper or handles along a side thereof to allow entry into or exit from the garage. At least the border and metal strips are color matched to the color of the door frame so that the metal strips are inconspicuous when exposed and the border blends in with the door frame color when installed.
