The lock body has an engaged position, where the lock releasably secures the fascia to the roller blind end plate, and has a disengaged position, where the lock releases the fascia from the end plate to permit the fascia to be removed therefrom. The lock body includes a flexibly resilient leg member that releasably engages between the fascia and the roller blind end plate. The leg member includes a deflection zone such that when the leg member engages between the fascia and the roller blind end plate at least a portion of the leg member is compressed or deflected about the deflection zone to releasably secure the lock body between the roller blind end plate and the fascia, thereby releasably securing the fascia to the end plate.

Abstract: A system for preventing fluid from entering a walled structure includes a support structure configured for fixing to at least one surface of the walled structure; and a barrier apparatus attachable and anchorable to the support structure, the barrier apparatus including a fluid retention member configured for intercepting a fluid entering the walled structure, and a collar for holding the fluid retention member against an interior surface of the walled structure, proximate the opening. As fluid enters the barrier apparatus, the pressure increases against the interior surface of the fluid retention member, pressing it against the walled structure. The collar in combination with the fluid retention member to which it is attached acts like a gasket to tighten a seal between the barrier apparatus and the walled structure.

Abstract: A spring-loaded adjustable window rack for hanging window treatments. A window rack is formed from a plurality of slide members, a plurality of multi-directional connectors, and at least one spring-loaded coupler, wherein the plurality of slide members is attached to each other by the plurality of multi-directional connectors. Each of the at least one spring-loaded couplers is attached in between a specific connector from the plurality of multi-directional connectors and a corresponding slide member from the plurality of slide members. By compressing the at least one spring the window rack can be slid into a window frame, wherein the spring force holds the window rack in place. A window treatment support can be attached to the window rack for creating three dimensional window treatment arrangements.

Abstract: The Quick Release Window Covering is a simple window covering or blind unit devised to cover and thereby block visibility into a room from a hallway or similar adjoining spaces. This window covering is used primarily for lockdown procedures within schools; it can also be used in other facilities or institutions for isolating people for safety, security or privacy situations. The window covering emphasizes rapid release as this is critical for quickly protecting staff, students and visitors from volatile circumstances. The window covering is opaque, available in a choice of colors and medium weight. It is installed using an adhesive mounting strip across the top of the window opening and fits larger than the window opening to ensure the complete coverage of the transparent surface so no person can see into the space.

Abstract: An architectural covering with a roll tube rotatably connected to mounting brackets at opposing ends and having shade material wrapped around the roll tube. The roll tube has a hollow interior with a motor assembly, a battery tube assembly and a spring assembly positioned within the hollow interior of the roll tube. One end of the architectural covering is mounted to a top loading bracket whereas the opposite end of the architectural covering is connected to a bottom loading bracket. The bottom loading bracket includes a recessed portion having an axel opening and a deflectable clip member that covers the axel opening. As an axel is inserted into the bracket, the clip member deflects allowing the axel to enter the axel slot and the clip member locks the axel into the axel slot. In this way an improved method of installing architectural coverings is presented.

The mesh along an edge of the panel is folded around the locking strip and secured using a line of stitching. A gap between the end of the locking strip and the edge of the mesh contributes to corner softening. Another gap between the end of the stitching and the end of the locking strip also contributes to corner softening. Locking strips have various cross sections including rectangular, triangular, and complex curves. Two colors of thread may be used to aid in orienting the panel. An adhesive may be used to hold the mesh to the locking strip for convenience during handling and sewing.

Abstract: A partition mount system includes an integrated plunger assembly. The integrated plunger assembly is constructed and arranged to be integrated into an interior of an end of an extension pole, for example a standard telescoping extension pole. Mounting of the plunger in an interior portion of the pole in this manner provides for a sleek design that is relatively lightweight. Assuming that the pole in which the anchor is mounted is part of a telescoping pole system, the anchor and plunger do not interfere with full travel of the interior pole with respect to other poles in the telescoping system. In this manner, operation of the telescoping pole system is not inhibited by the integrated plunger assembly.
