Front edge of each of two fixing boards extending from two sides of the plane board main body is formed with a split. The decoration board has a horizontal panel and a vertical panel. A top end and a certain section of the vertical panel are formed with hook bars inserted and latched in the splits of the left and right supports and assembled therewith. The cover boards serve to conceal the seams between the supports and the decoration board.

    Abstract: A combination venetian blind and roller shade support comprising a pair of mirror-image combination brackets. Each bracket has a pair of discrete compartments, one compartment to receive one end of a venetial blind and the other compartment containing support mechanism for a roller shade bracket. The support mechanism is adjustable to vary the location of the roller shade bracket relative to the combination bracket to accommodate roller shades of different widths.

    Abstract: A pair of mounting brackets are disclosed which are readily removably but securely attach to any window for purposes of mounting a variety of window treatments in an aesthetic manner. The mounting brackets are attached to the window by a plurality of suction cups. Each bracket is comprised of a base plate and an elongated mounting element oriented substantially perpendicular to the base plate. The mounting element is adapted to receive one of a shade and a curtain rod substantially above the window and outside of the periphery of the window. When in a closed position the window treatment blocks any significant light or air draft from being transmitted from the exterior of the building to the interior of the building. A connecting portion having a configuration which conforms to the window frame is provided between the base plate and the mounting element.

    Abstract: A plate for closing one end of a box for housing a window shade roller, includes a cylindrical recess made in the plate coaxially to a through hole and into which a bushing is placed. The bushing is provided with an axial hole having a polygonal cross section and two strikers suited to fit into corresponding notches in the recess. A spring placed inside the recess on a collar integral with the bushing, locks the strikers and notches and prevents axial rotation of the bushing. A washer fastened to the plate closes the recess. A non-round tang extending from one end of a roller can engage the hole in the bushing. Axially pushing on the bushing while rotating the bushing achieves the release of the strikers from the notches, and allows adjusting of the loading of the window shade roller by rotating the tang.

    Abstract: A pair of suction-held shade brackets are provided in a design whereby the brackets each include depending and curved bracket element holders depending from the back sides of suction cups. Also, the suction cups can be affixed to materials adjacent window panes, which do not lend themselves readily to screw holes or attachment means, other than suction.
