Abstract: A tonneau system for use with a cargo box of a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a pair of side rails for mounting to the sidewalls of the cargo box and a tonneau cover having at least two tonneau sections and being moveable relative to one another between an unfolded state and a folded state. In the unfolded state the tonneau sections substantially covering the cargo box and in the folded state the tonneau sections being arranged in a stack. The stack of tonneau sections is pivotally connected to the side rails by a pivot connection that is moveable between secure and release positions. In the secure position, the stack being retainingly engaged with the side rails and, in the release position, the stack being removably engaged with the side rails whereby the stack is removable from the cargo box while the side rails remain mounted therewith.

Abstract: A foldable tonneau system comprising: (a) a plurality of frames, each of the plurality of frames include a panel region and a hinge region; (b) a plurality of panels each connected to one or more of the plurality of frames via the panel region; (c) a plurality of hinges that extend between and into the hinge region of a first of the plurality of frames and the hinge region of a second of the plurality of frames and connect the first of the plurality of frames to the second of the plurality of frames so that two of the plurality of panels are movable relative to each other; and (d) a coating that covers all or a portion of the plurality of panels, all or portion of the plurality of frames, and a connection region where each of the plurality of panels connect to the one of the plurality of frames at the panel region so that fluid is prevented from entering the connection region.

Abstract: A truck bed cover for a pickup truck includes a first panel assembly and a second panel assembly that is pivotally connected to the first panel assembly such that the second panel assembly pivots relative to the first panel assembly between a closed configuration and an open configuration providing an uncovered region adjacent the first panel assembly. The first panel assembly includes a panel having a cover configuration where the panel covers a part of a truck bed and a compartment configuration where a free end of the panel engages a floor of the truck bed to form part of a compartment beneath the truck bed cover.

Abstract: A tonneau system for use with a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a tonneau cover, a frame, and a latch. The tonneau cover has a plurality of tonneau sections, including at least a first tonneau section and a second tonneau section. A first hinge system couples the first tonneau section to the second tonneau section, enabling stacking and expanding of the first tonneau section relative to the second tonneau section. The frame has a first side rail securable to a first side of a cargo box of a pickup truck and a second side rail securable to a second side of the cargo box. The latch releaseably secures the tonneau cover to the first and second side rails. When the latch is released, the stacked tonneau sections are permitted to depend into the cargo box.

Abstract: A window treatment adjustment assembly is provided that includes a slider having a base movable along a portion of the frame. A handle extends from the base. A pocket is formed in the screen and includes: a pocket frame attached to the screen to form an opening through the screen; a shroud member attached to at least a portion of the pocket frame. The handle of the slider extends through the opening of the pocket and past the shroud member. The base of the slider is in communication with a mechanism that moves the window treatment.

The removable sash window is spring loaded into the frame of the hopper vent and is injection molded for easy manufacture. The hopper vent also includes a removable screen which is also removable from the interior side of the hopper vent. The hopper vent also includes a pivot system to allow the removable sash window to pivot open instead of rotating open like in previous, hinge-based systems. Also, the hopper vent includes a dam system which prevents water from draining to the interior of the hopper vent. The dam system includes a front riser to prevent water from draining to the interior of the hopper vent and a drain, such as weep holes or a gap between the frame and the screen of the hopper vent, to allow water to drain to the exterior of the hopper vent.

Abstract: A screening arrangement for a window with a main frame and a glass-carrying frame journalled in the main frame, the glass-carrying frame being movable to a ventilating position, in which the glass-carrying frame plane forms an angle with the main frame plane, so that at least one wedge-shaped ventilation aperture is formed between the main frame and the glass-carrying frame, the screening arrangement comprising an air-permeable insect screen, which in a mounted position has three wall-like sections for screening the wedge-shaped ventilation aperture, the insect screen being folded into a bellows surface having an outer and an inner end fold, the inner end fold being connected with the main frame and the outer end fold being carried by a screen-carrying, separate frame connected with the main frame by hinges for mounting on the outside of the glass-carrying frame.

Abstract: A bed cover for a pickup truck comprises a plurality of horizontal, rigid panel sections supported on angle irons above the load supporting surface of the bed. The panel sections are coupled to each other through transversely extending hinges to enable the sections to pivot open for access to the bed. One of the panel sections is secured to the angle irons while enabling the remaining sections to pivot about their hinges. In one embodiment, only the panel section nearest the cabin is secured on the angle irons, enabling the remaining sections to fold into a storage position when not in use. In a second embodiment, only a center panel section is secured on the angle irons, enabling access to the pickup bed from either the cabin end or tail end of the bed.
