Flexible Or Portable Panel Related To Rigid Closure Operating Or Fastening Means Patents (Class 160/95)
  • Patent number: 8701740
Abstract: The device includes two sub-assemblies (1) for mounting the rail (2) for supporting the curtain on the leaves (3) of the window, each sub-assembly having a plate (5) and an offset arm (6). The plate is formed so as to be able to be fixed to the upper edge of a leaf (3), in the vicinity of the pivot axis thereof, and includes mounting elements (14) for pivotably mounting the offset arm thereon, along an axis extending, after mounting on the leaf (3), parallel to the pivot axis of the leaf. The offset arm (6) is formed to offset the rail (2) relative to the wall; it is pivotably mounted on the plate (5) by the mounting elements and is pivotably connected to the rail (2) at a point thereof which is longitudinally fixed, also along an axis parallel to the pivot axis of the leaf (3).

Abstract: A door assembly includes a door body; a panel, typically a window, which is slidably mounted on the door body; a retractable screen mounted on the door; and a removable connection between the screen and the panel. Preferably, the connection is a peelably removable connection. The connection may include a self-mating reclosable fastener, a hook and loop fastener or the like. The connection may include one or more magnets, preferably in the form of flexible magnetic strips. The door assembly thus simplifies the installation of the screen and its removal and replacement.

  • Patent number: 4722565
Abstract: A tilt-slide type sunroof of a motor vehicle having a sliding panel for opening or closing a roof opening formed in a roof panel. A housing is provided below the roof panel and separated therefrom, having a housing opening corresponding to the roof opening, and forming a space disposed rearwardly of the roof opening, capable of receiving the sliding panel in cooperation with the roof panel. A shade is provided on the sliding panel for covering the housing opening from above when the roof opening is closed by the sliding panel. The shade is constructed such that an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the shade is made displaceable upward from the housing opening higher than a rear end portion of said shade, the length of the shade is such that when the intermediate portion of the shade is displaced upward, the rear end of the shade is positioned in the space.
