Abstract: A rain deflector chute comprising a first planar chute member parallelly couplable to the roof top of a vehicle. A second planar chute member downwardly sloped from the top of the window wherein the second planar chute member radially projects at an angle from the side of the window a distance which does not exceed the radial distance from which a side rear view mirror projects from the side of the vehicle. A vertical planar chute member which couples the first planar chute member to the second planar chute member. A front deflector coupled to the front of the second planar chute member and a rear deflector coupled to the rear of the second planar chute member.
Abstract: A collapsible awing having a flexible frame forming at least one collapsible closed loop; a flexible sheet disposed upon the frame to define a central region; and a first fastener detachably coupled to a first edge of the sheet such that the first edge is attached to a first surface; and, at least one rod with a first end coupled to a second edge of the sheet and a second end attached to a second surface through the use of a second fastener such that the sheet can provide a coveting. The flexible frame of the awning is easily collapsible for storage. The flexible sheet is an opaque flexible material which blocks sunlight and other elements. The rods can also be easily disassembled and maintained together for storage.
Abstract: A collapsible canopy apparatus (10) for use with the window frame (101) of a vehicle (100) wherein the canopy apparatus (10) includes a cover member (30) having an extension flap (33) adapted to be formed into a closed loop around the upper window frame portion (101") and a collapsible framework member (14) having a plurality of telescoping leg members (15) that are operatively secured to one another by a pair of floating hinge elements (16); wherein, a first pair of leg members (15) are operatively connected to the lower window frame portion (101') and a second pair of leg members (15) are operatively attached to the cover member (30).
Abstract: A collapsible protective canopy useful as both a sunshade and frostshield for motor vehicles is made of a sheet of corrugated cardboard, laminated cardboard, vinyl, leather, nylon, plastic, synthetic, or combinations thereof, or any other material in which fold line impressions, indentations or creases can be made to define parallel folds which can be stretched and compressed like the bellows of an accordion, the sheet including a center portion and two side portions provided with belts on opposite ends of the sheet for securing the canopy to a car body. The sheet is alternately foldable to a compact package for convenient handling and storage.
