The rotor assembly includes a rotor lamination stack with a cylindrical shape that terminates in a first end surface and a second end surface. The rotor lamination stack has multiple lamination discs, and each lamination disc has multiple rotor slots. The rotor assembly further includes copper bars disposed within the rotor slots, a first intermediary end ring disposed at the first end surface, and a second intermediary end ring disposed at the second end surface. A centrifugally cast first copper end ring that electrically and mechanically couples each of the copper bars is located proximate the first end surface, and a centrifugally cast second copper end ring that electrically and mechanically couples each of the copper bars is located proximate the second end surface.

The nano-composite mixture is cooled to form a solid nano-composite rod having the first predetermined diameter, wherein the carbon nanotubes are aligned in a non-random manner. Furthermore, drawing down the nano-composite rod to smaller diameter wire further disperses the nanotubes along the length of the wire.

Further, the product material includes wrought 6000 series aluminum alloys, which are easy to process and have relatively high strength and low weight, thus being suitable for the manufacture of vehicular wheels having complex shapes.     Abstract: A method for manufacturing a compressor slider includes a slider preform manufacturing step, a resin coating step, and a machining step. In the slider preform manufacturing step, an iron slider preform in which at least one property selected from the tensile strength and the tensile modulus of elasticity is greater than that of flake graphite cast iron is manufactured using a prescribed mold. In the resin coating step, the slider preform is not machined, but the resin coating layer is formed on all or a part of the slider preform. In the machining step, only the resin coating layer is machined, and a completed slider is obtained.

First and second auxiliary pressures are applied to the first and second mold cavities to densify the castings formed in the first and second mold cavities. Another method for casting includes maintaining a main pressure at or less than an initial, mold-filling pressure after the first and second mold cavities have been filled. Additionally, a method for detecting whether a first mold cavity is sufficiently filled with molten metal includes monitoring a moveable element.

    Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for high pressure die casting are disclosed. The method uses a die casting apparatus which comprises a group of three plungers for casting metal. The two of which, injection plunger 1 and assistant plunger 3, are used to reduce metal loading time and reduce entrapped gases in die casting during a fast injection stage. By moving into injection sleeve 2, the assistant plunger separates the mold cavity 11 from the space defined by assistant plunger 3, injection sleeve 2, and injection plunger 1. The flow power device for moving said assistant plunger 3 is mounded on a back plate 8. A third plunger, the intensification plunger 12, is used to squeeze casting as soon as the injection plunger advances to a position in which the runner is separated from the closed space.

Thermal decomposition is suppressed at the surface of the thermoelectric material enclosed by the physical barrier when the thermoelectric element is in operation.
