    Abstract: A downhole pumping assembly has a tubing string with plural barrels which are arranged in-line with the tubing. The tubing string has a seating location adjacent to each barrel. A standing valve arrangement, which includes a standing valve and a seating device, is located with the standing valve adjacent to the lower end of one of the barrels. A plunger has a traveling valve that is located for reciprocation within the one barrel. The plunger has a clearance with each of the barrels so as to form a fluid seal. The plunger reciprocates inside the barrel so as to lift fluid to the surface. Over time, the barrel will exhibit wear. Instead of pulling the entire tubing string to replace the barrel, the standing valve and the plunger are relocated to one of the other barrels located in the tubing string and reciprocation is resumed to resume pumping.

    Abstract: A counterweighted well pumping unit comprises two or more reversible motors, each of which is directly and operatively connected to a rotatable drive component mounted on a support structure positioned over a wellhead. For each motor, an elongate, flexible drive element is trained over the associated rotatable drive component, with one end of the flexible drive element connected to a counterweight assembly and the other end connected to a pump rod string associated with the wellhead. The double string slurry pump includes a hollow tube that raises and lowers the plunger and carries the liquids to the surface and an outer tube receives liquids down into the well to periodically flush area around the pump to stir up particles and fines for conveyance out of the wellbore with the liquids. The additional conduit for flushing may be used to provide biocides, solvents or other treatments including with liquids at elevated temperature to create desired results or changes downhole. Moreover, the additional conduit may be provided with ports to provide access to the interior of the gas production path to provide such treatments above the well. The natural gas is produced through the annulus between wellbore casing and the outer production tubing string.

The well could be a horizontal well or a vertical well. The well could be a cased hole or an open hole well.

    Abstract: This mandrel places injection gas at the optimum production depth. It has been proven successful and could increase production in America and the world by bringing back into production wells that are not economical any other way. One well at a time, or entire fields can be produced with a single compressor. There is no need for additional packers or valves. Stripper wells account for 40% of total domestic production. There are 1000s of wells not being produced. Huge production OPEC type wells could be produced with this system better, faster, and less expensive than any other system. Using air, or gas in a closed loop this system outperforms every system like it or any other system. The key is to optimize compression with depth beneath the fluid level and reservoir abilities. Waiting to try this and prove it since graduate school seems extreme, but several devices are not allowed or kept from use in the oilfield for whatever reason. The key is to help the small guys compete, and this innovation is ready.
