Plural Successive Separators, One A Belt Patents (Class 171/131)
  • Patent number: 5477926
Abstract: An agricultural implement which may be pulled by a tractor in an agricultural field for improving soil conditions, provided with the capability to sort rocks according to their sizes whereby rocks of only desired dimension range are crushed, this implement consisting of a frame carried by two wheels, a drawbar assembly for attaching the frame to a tractor, a rock-transporting tilted belt conveyor assembly provided with a ploughshares means, a pair of corrugated crush rollers, a bin for collecting stones of large dimensions, and a hydraulic power system driven by a drive shaft connected to the power take-off of a tractor.

  • Patent number: 5358095
Abstract: A removable conveyor flight formed of a flight body 12 having downwardly extending arcuate clamp arms. A pair of opposing arcuately shaped rigid clamps (14) and (16) are embedded within the flight body. Formed integrally with clamps (14) and (16) are compression tabs (20) which extend upward into the flight body to a fulcrum point (22). Bolts (28) are provided to draw the clamps together, thereby clamping the resilient clamp arms of flight body (12) against the cross bar or rod (34) of draper chain (32).

  • Patent number: 5103623
Abstract: Harvested agricultural produce is distributed and temporarily stored in an elongated, low-profile bin mounted and supported above a frame so as to substantially center the weight of the produce over the frame. The bin has an input and an output end and is capable of movement between a receiving position in which produce is loaded into the bin and an unloading position in which produce in the bin is transferred out. In moving into the unloading position, the bin is translated in a longitudinal direction from the input end to the output end, and the output end of the bin becomes elevated. Means are provided to support the bin over the frame in the receiving and unloading positions, and to drive the bin therebetween. A conveyor belt in the floor of the bin shifts produce within the bin and unloads produce into a transport carrier.

  • Patent number: 5085279
Abstract: A potato lifter, but also being a lifter capable of lifting other especially subterranean vegetation products, such as celery roots, carrots, bulbs, edible onions, etc., the lifter being of the kind comprising an in the ground, under the products, led cutting member and a conveyor positioned behind the cutting member for the upwards guiding of the products is described. A number, and at least one, mainly with plain, smooth or comparatively featureless surface shaped delivery roll or rolls (5, 6, 7, 8) is (are) positioned between the rear edge of the cutting member(1, 2, 3, 4) and the conveyor (9). The delivery rolls, having preferably equal diameters and being driven with a circumference velocity of about the same size as the forward drive velocity of the potato lifter, are positioned rotatable around mainly horizontal axes and, when more than one, positioned rather close together and mutually parallel. The damage introduced at the mechanical lifting to the potatoes is exquisitely low.

  • Patent number: 4640364
Abstract: In a ballast cleaning machine which comprises a machine frame, a ballast excavating and conveying chain mounted on the machine frame, the chain having a discharge end for the excavated and conveyed ballast, ballast screening apparatus arranged to receive the ballast from the discharge end of the chain and to separate a waste component from the clean ballast, a conveyor band system mounted below the screening apparatus for receiving the clean ballast component and redistributing it to the track, and an endless conveyor band mounted below the screening apparatus for receiving and conveying the waste component: a sifting conveyor band mounted between the discharge end of the chain and the screening apparatus, the sifting conveyor band having an upper stringer receiving the excavated and conveyed ballast from the discharge end and defining openings permitting a portion of the waste component to pass through the sifting conveyor band, and a drive connected to the sifting conveyor band for driving the band whereby
