  • Patent number: 7198112
Abstract: An improved minesweeper having a two-sided frame adapted to be coupled to and pushed by a tractor and a rake pivoted from each side of the frame by respective pairs of coupling bars of different lengths so that as the rake moves away from the frame to bury itself in the soil, the coupling bars rotate it to a less aggressive digging angle that prevents the rake from stalling the tractor, wherein the improvement comprises apparatus connected to the frame for catching and sifting mines, soil, rocks and other objects buried in the soil passing over the rake without small amounts of vegetation and variances in soil conditions clogging the catching and sifting means.

  • Patent number: 7165628
Abstract: A harvester for root crops such as beets is provided which preferably provides continuous flow of root crops from a header, along a transfer assembly, through a processing run, and to an elevator assembly. The harvester can be configured to include or accommodate interchangeable header assemblies having different numbers of rows and/or row spacings. The transfer assembly can be of a floating type and helps to provide an even distribution of beets to the grabrollers. The processing run includes full-length cleaning grabrollers disposed parallel to the direction of travel. Modular elevator assemblies can be provided to further enhance harvester versatility. Such an approach includes interchangeable ferris wheel and scrubber chain elevator assemblies. An improved scrubber chain elevator assembly can be used which has a wraparound scrubber chain design. A pivoting tank conveyor for evenly filling a holding tank can be included.

  • Patent number: 6702034
Abstract: A rock picker for use with all terrain vehicles and lawn and garden tractors that has a generally horizontal movable frame with one or more operative wheels secured to the frame. The frame holds a rock holding receptacle that is tiltable for rock dumping. A towing tongue is mounted to the forward end of the frame. Also mounted to the frame in a position such that it can be moved from a rock pick up position to a rock unload position dumping the rocks into the rock holding receptacle is tiltable rock scoop. As the picker is towed forward, the scoop scoops up the rocks and it can be hydraulically activated to dump the rocks into the rock holding receptacle or basket. In turn, the rocks can be dumped from there once carried away from the area from which the rocks are cleared.
