Abstract: There is disclosed a primary tillage system in combination with a soil conditioner rotary reel that addresses the performance requirement differences due to soil types and moisture conditions that other tillage systems do not address. The combination provides a one-pass seedbed preparation process of a superior quality to that of any heretofore known one-pass systems through the improved performance of the soil conditioning rotary reel. The rotary reel includes a plurality of flat bars attached to support plates in a symmetrical helix arrangement that provide a thorough breakup of clods not heretofore possible.
Abstract: An adjustable incline weight lifter bench having a support pad connected to the barbell support to provide automatic angular adjustment of a portion of the pad as a function of the disposition of the barbell support in any one of a plurality of vertically spaced positions. The bench includes a base defining a guide for guiding the pad to the selected disposition thereon. The pad may include a buttocks-supporting portion movably connected to the back-supporting portion connected to the barbell support for automatic positioning of the entire pad on the base. The bench is arranged so that the back-supporting portion of the pad disposes the user substantially below the barbell support in all adjusted positions thereof for improved facilitated weight lifting exercises.
Abstract: A plow system includes a number of individual plow units mounted on a beam which is inclined relative to the direction of travel of a traction vehicle. The units are mounted for continuous rotation about vertical axes so that they may be opened or closed to adjust the width of a cut between adjacent units over a continuous, wide range. The plow unit is supported by a forward furrow wheel located to ride in previously-plowed ground and a rear furrow wheel, and the main frame is pulled by a tongue or draft member connected between a tractor hitch and an intermediate location of the inclined beam. A hydraulic unit adjusts the individual plow units in unison, and at the same time, through a linkage, adjusts the tongue relative to the inclined beam to keep the forward furrow wheel at a constant distance from the rear tractor wheel for all width adjustments.
