Abstract: A swivel bar is operatively connected by a bracket assembly to a toolbar, such that the swivel bar pivots back and forth in the horizontal plane about a pivot. A resilient device is positioned inside the swivel bar where the pivot is combined to the bracket assembly and extends through the swivel bar. At least one agricultural implement and preferably two agricultural implements are connected to the swivel bar on opposite sides of the pivot.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for classifying fine particles, the method comprising: introducing a fine particle dispersion in which fine particles are dispersed in a liquid medium into an inlet of a microchannel having the inlet and a recovery portion; and delivering the fine particle dispersion, which has been introduced through the inlet, to the recovery portion in laminar flow, wherein delivering the fine particle dispersion includes classifying the fine particles using the difference in sedimentation speed or floatation speed among the fine particles in the fine particle dispersion. The present invention also provides a device used in the method for classifying fine particles.
Abstract: A combination of a reversible plough with a plurality of soil preparation devices including an improved height control system. The apparatus includes a headstock by means of which the combination can be mounted on lifting arms at the rear of a propelling vehicle. The soil preparation devices are each mounted on a movable part of a plough frame via a respective swivel coupling that allows the device to be towed and also to be suspended during plough body reversal. A common hydraulic pressure control circuit is provided to control the height of each soil preparation device relative to its respective swivel coupling, and to provide automatic self-compensating adjustment of each device as they follow the contour of the ground.
Abstract: A combination of a semi-mounted reversible plough (10) and a seed preparation device (11) are towed behind a tractor in order to carry out a ploughing action and a seed preparation action during a single pass over the ground.
Abstract: A coulter adjusting device for use in a reversible plowing machine having a non-reversible mast frame, a bottom frame secured to the non-reversible mast frame in such a manner as to be rotatable or reversible relative to the non-reversible mast frame, a rotatable shaft for rotating or reversing the bottom frame, plural pairs of bottoms fixed to the bottom frame such that each pair of bottoms is secured to upper and lower sides of the bottom frame respectively, and coulters provided in correspondence with each pair of bottoms, at least one of the coulters being secured to the non-reversible mast frame, includes an adjusting mechanism the position of the coulter secured to the non-reversible mast frame by inclining the coulter on a plane perpendicular to a plowing direction by an angle corresponding to the plowing depth, or by moving the coulter in the plowing width direction by an amount corresponding to the tread of a tractor interlockingly with a reversing operation of the bottom frame.
Abstract: A tiller attachment for switchable bidirectional mold board plow which is adapted to be mounted onto the tool bar of the plow. The attachment includes a pair of axially spaced apart frame members which support arms joined at a right angles at a pivot point. The frame members lie in parallel spaced apart planes perpendicular to the axis of the tool bar and are pivotable from the right to the left side thereof. Tine bars are pivotably mounted to free ends of the frame members and are rotatable into ground engaging positions. An actuator which is responsive to the position of the plow rotates the frame members so that the tines firmly engage the ground behind the plow.
