Abstract: A kit for modifying a digging bucket for controlling the depth cut, including an elongated member operationally connectable to a hoe bucket defining a cutting edge, an actuator operationally connectable to the elongated member, an electronic controller operationally connectable to the actuator, and a position sensor operationally connectable to the cutting edge and operationally connectable to the electronic controller. The actuator may be energized to pivot the elongated member to a position adjacent the cutting edge for engaging ground. Positioning of the elongated member adjacent the cutting edge prevents the cutting edge from digging ground.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling a vehicle in response to the presence of one or more vehicle boundary. According to various embodiments, a system is provided that automates end-turns and sequence execution in real-time based on approaching boundaries. In various embodiments, no pre-planning is required once boundaries and a turn pattern have been defined. Once these items are defined, the system creates end-turns based on what type of boundary is approaching and the turn path prescribed. The system determines what vehicle functions to execute based on pre-recorded sequences and executes the turns and the sequences automatically based on the location and speed of the vehicle and its relationship to various boundaries.

Abstract: A transmitter is mounted on a cultivator hitched to a tractor or the like for emitting a noninvasive sensor beam generally parallel to and in front of a soil-cultivating implement which tills the soil. Mechanism detects echoes from obstructions in the path of the implement and controls mechanism for retracting the implement so that the implement does not engage the obstructions. When an obstruction has passed, the implement is returned to its working position extending transversely to the direction of movement of the cultivator.
Abstract: A farm or garden implement capable of raking or soil conditioning as desired comprising a frame movable along the ground as with wheels, a deck for raking having replaceable resilient tines and a deck for soil conditioning having rigid tines. The raking deck and the soil conditioning deck are separate decks which may be interchangeably coupled to the frame. When mounted in the frame, each deck may be remotely raised or lowered. The soil conditioning deck further has a blade extending between the sides of the deck which is vertically adjustable. The raking deck also has a release grid which permits release of leaves and the like when the tines are full, such release possible without interruption to the raking. The implement may be attached to a vehicle by a hitch.
Abstract: A farming implement, particularly for row cultivation, wherein the operator device comprises a mill or harrow having substantially vertical axes or slightly inclined to the vertical, and connected to the tractor by the interposition of an automatic device for transverse movement relative to the tractor, transversely displacing the implement and securing it at any intermediate position.
