Tool And Handle Relatively Adjustable Patents (Class 172/365)
  • Patent number: 6540031
Abstract: A tiller has rotational blades for tilling the ground. A power source generates a rotational driving force for rotating the rotational blades and for advancing the tiller unidirectionally while tilling the ground. A power transmission mechanism transmits the rotational driving force of the power source to the rotational blades. A handle for guiding the tiller is pivotally connected to a rear portion of the power source or to a rear portion of the power transmission mechanism so that shock energy generated during tilling of the ground and transmitted to the power source or the power transmission mechanism is absorbed by pivotal movement of the power source or the power transmission mechanism relative to the handle about a pivot point spaced rearwardly from a center of gravity of the tiller and disposed approximately at the same height as the center of gravity of the tiller from a surface of the ground.

  • Patent number: 4854391
Abstract: A hand propelled soil cultivation tool for accepting several different cultivation implements is described which includes a forward gauge wheel and a quick adjustment means for handle length. The different tool attachments described include a hoe implement, a cultivation tine implement and a trenching implement. The hoe implement has a "V" shaped light gauge blade construction which is rigidified and locked to the implement shank by opposed blade stabilizer brackets. The cultivation tine implement is formed of a single elongated piece of metal and the trenching implement is constructed of two diametrically opposed sections.

  • Patent number: 4512091
Abstract: A wheeled snow plow is provided and consists of a tubular frame having a laterally spaced pair of side portions, a rear portion and a V-shaped front portion to form a generally rectangular configuration, three wheel assemblies, one wheel assembly mounted to bottom center of the V-shaped front portion and each of the other two wheel assemblies mounted to bottom center of a respective side portion of the frame, a U-shaped handle connected pivotally to top center of the side portions of the frame so that the U-shaped handle will sit at a vertical angle with respect to the frame when in use, a V-shaped plow blade connected pivotally to the side portions of the frame so that the V-shaped plow blade will face frontwardly and be horizontal to the frame and a device for height adjusting the V-shaped plow blade with respect to the frame allowing for passage over rough and uneven terrain.
