Abstract: A mounting assembly for plough skimmers comprises a mounting rail adapted to be connected to the main frame of a plough and a skimmer support bracket adapted to surround parts of the mounting rail. The mounting rail and the skimmer support bracket are arranged such that the mounting rail and the skimmer support bracket are braced against each other in at least two directions when the plough skimmer is in use, wherein the at least two directions are oblique to a ploughing direction.
Abstract: A castor wheel support for a towed agricultural implement. The castor support has a spindle for supporting a castor mounting structure for pivoting movement. The castor mounting structure includes an annular friction element received over the spindle and a plurality of C-shaped shims removable laterally without disassembly of the mounting structure to allow the pressure on the friction element to be set to minimize wobbling.
Abstract: An improved miter saw, including a base, a workbench, a stop plate, a swing arm, a motor, a cutting assembly, and an extension platform. The workbench is rotationally disposed on the base. The swing arm is rotationally disposed on the rear of the workbench. The stop plate is disposed on the rear of the base. The extension platform is disposed on two sides of the base. The upper surface of the extension platform and the supporting surface of the base are in a same plane. The extension platform is movably connected to the base through a guide rod. The extension platform comprises an L-shaped limit block and a recess corresponding to the L-shaped limit block. The L-shaped limit block is adapted to turn over in the recess horizontally or vertically along the length direction of a workpiece mounted on the workbench for cutting.
Abstract: A method and system for automatically controlling a work implement of an earthmoving machine, the work implement including a bucket, to capture, lift and dump material, the bucket being controllably actuated by a hydraulic tilt cylinder and at least one hydraulic lift cylinder, based on discrete values of torque is disclosed.
Abstract: A depth control includes an actuator tube connected for movement with the rockshaft and having a threaded crank supported on the forward end of the tube. A valve operator bracket is slidably and nonrotatably received over the tube and includes a threaded portion engaging the crank threads to positively locate the bracket relative to the tube. The bracket carries a plunger which, as the rockshaft lowers the implement to the working position, is moved into contact with a valve actuator to close a valve and prevent further lowering of the implement. One turn of the crank gives the same positive movement along the tube each time the depth setting is adjusted so that working depth can be set very accurately and easily.
Abstract: This invention relates to a heavy duty commercial lawn edger apparatus utilized to achieve a new and novel contoured edge cut between adjacent portions of a grass area and a concrete or curb area. The lawn edger apparatus includes a main support base assembly directed by a main handle and control assembly and having a main power assembly mounted thereon. The main power assembly is connectable through a belt and pulley drive assembly to selectively drive a main edging and cleaner assembly. The main edging and cleaner assembly includes a heavy duty blade assembly; a main brush assembly mounted adjacent the main blade assembly for surface cleansing purposes; and an adaptor cutter assembly releasably connected to the main blade assembly to achieve unique shapes in the contoured edge cut. The main blade assembly includes a thick main blade member having spaced cut out sections to achieve a novel cutting feature of this invention.
Abstract: A cultivator has a blade downwardly projected from a frame, an injector provided at a lower portion of the blade, a compressor mounted on the frame and an air tank for storing air compressed by the compressor. An unloading valve provided in a hydraulic circuit for supplying compressed air in the air tank to the injector. The unloading valve is arranged to be opened when the pressure in the air tank is higher than a predetermined value. A master valve is provided in the circuit means, for passing the compressed air to the injector. A mechanical valve is provided to be opened when the depth of the injector reaches a predetermined value, so that the compressed air is supplied to the master valve to open it, whereby air is injected from the injector when the pressure in the air tank is higher than the predetermined value at the predetermined position of the injector.

Abstract: A conditioning apparatus is provided for working of an upper surface layer of a dirt race track to form a cushion of loosened and uncompacted earth particles. The apparatus includes a rigid structural frame mounted on a single elongated supporting roller extending substantially the entire width of the apparatus. A plurality of transversely extending beams are fixedly secured to the frame and each carries a plurality of vertically extending earth working tines. The frame is vertically adjustable on the roller to a selected elevation and a leveling mechanism is interconnected between the frame and a towing bar to enable pivoting of the frame about the single roller to a horizontal plane when the towing bar is connected to a towing vehicle.
Abstract: An attachment (10) for use with an agricultural seeder implement is disclosed. The attachment (10) includes a pair of depth gauge wheels (28) which are aligned with respect to the direction of the intended movement (38) of the implement. The wheels (28) are generally parallel to a pair of furrow disks (12) which are aligned and have forward edges (32) thereof converging. The wheels (28) are disposed for horizontal movement forwardly and rearwardly with respect to the disks (12) in order to afford adjustment of lateral spacing (60, 62) between the disks (12) and wheels (28).
