    Abstract: A tow behind aerator is provided for connected with a hitch of a garden tractor. The aerator includes a connection, a float, a pivot, and an aerator body. The float allows for the aerator to ride on variations of terrain and elevation. The pivot allows the aerator body to pivot or rotate relative to the tractor such that the aerator is able to turn around objects. The pivot may be engaged or disengaged to control the amount of pivot. Further, the aerator includes a self-centering function for centering the aerator when raising the aerator to a non-aerating configuration. A universal sleeve hitch may be used to connect the aerator to the tractor and can be operated to raise and lower the aerator.

    Abstract: A device for stabilizing the two lower steering arms (1) of a tractor, with the lower steering arms (1) actuated by a hydraulically operated power lever (9). The arms are each associated with a side strut (6) with a first single-acting hydraulic cylinder (7) for stabilizing and fixing purposes. A line connection between the first single-acting hydraulic cylinders (7) and the power lever (9) can be effected by a control valve (13). In order to center the lower steering arms (1) and set the arm to a pre-determined dimension of spread, even when no implement is attached, the line (14) which leads to the second single-acting hydraulic cylinder (10) of the power lever (9) contains a pressure-controlled first return valve. A bypass line (21) with a second return valve (22) is provided to lock in the direction opposite to that of the first return valve.

    Abstract: A material handling attachment such as a bucket or the like is pivotally secured to the three-point hitch assembly of the tractor. The hitch assembly is movable between a lower position and an upper position by means of standard equipment on the tractor. A mechanical linkage interconnects the bucket, hitch assembly and the tractor so that the bucket will be in a substantially level position when the hitch assembly is in its lowermost position. As the hitch assembly is moved upwardly relative to the tractor, the linkage maintains the bucket in a level position. When the hitch assembly reaches its uppermost position, the linkage causes the bucket to be moved to a dumping position. After the material in the bucket has been dumped therefrom, the three-point hitch assembly is lowered with the bucket being automatically re-set to its operative or working position.

A shuttle valve connects the rockshaft control valve, which otherwise would be disabled, to the rockshaft cylinder which controls the lower draft links. The ball-check valve also connects the rockshaft cylinder to the operator control valve while isolating the rockshaft control valve from the operator control valve.

The scarifying means (50) includes a cross-shaft (51), connector arms (52) for pivotally connecting the cross-shaft to the frame (11), scarifiers (55) extending downwardly from the cross-shaft and a hydraulic cylinder (61) for lowering and raising the scarifying means into and out of the soil. Another embodiment incorporates a scarifying means (50) having scarifiers (66) which maintain a constant orientation during lifting and lowering by a self-camming action.

    Abstract: A folding implement mountable on the three-point hitch of a tractor has a U-shaped, downwardly oriented, central member with a horizontal wing extending laterally from each side of the central member, behind the rear wheels of the tractor. Each horizontal wing has a series of downwardly extending tines spaced thereon. The tines score the earth behind each tractor wheel when the wings are horizontal. A lifting mechanism affixed to the wings and the tractor rotates the wings vertically each time the three-point hitch is raised so that the implement is folded out of the way when turning the tractor.
