  • Publication number: 20130087352
Abstract: The present invention provides a portable ice chopper assembly having dual reciprocating blades for chopping ice. A gear box assembly is connected to the rotating motor assembly for converting the rotating movement of the motor assembly into reciprocating movement of the dual chopping blades. Dual reciprocating plungers are connected to and driven by the gear box assembly for driving the plungers in a reciprocating up and down linear movement, wherein the plungers each have respective horizontal actuating bars. The cutting blades move up and down in a linear reciprocating movement, with the two cutting blades moving up and down in an alternating manner to chop the ice.

Abstract: The invention relates to a drill for realizing a partially tapered bore hole in a soil covering a hardpan layer. The drill comprises a rotatable drivable unit that is provided with a carrying structure and a multiple number of cutting elements carried by the carrying structure. The multiple number of cutting elements are arranged along a line extending substantially radially and outwardly from a central axis of the rotatable drivable unit. Further, lower ends of cutting elements in a radial inner section are mainly positioned in a plane transversely to the rotation axis of the rotatable drivable unit. Lower ends of cutting elements in a radial outer section are mainly positioned in a downwardly tapered surface having a symmetry axis coinciding with the rotation axis of the rotatable drivable unit. The lower ends of the cutting elements may subscribe, during rotation, a truncated cone surface.

  • Patent number: 8201638
Abstract: An agricultural implement in the form of a dicing plow booster device is provided that is operative to connect to a further hitch device of a front end of a plow. The implement has a dicing drum in rotating connection with a dicing drum frame, and has a drive roller in rotating connection with the drive roller frame. The dicing drum comprises a plurality of blades. A first hydraulic motor causes the dicing drum to rotate in a first direction. A second hydraulic motor causes the drive roller to rotate in a second direction opposite the first direction. When the agricultural implement is mounted to the plow, the dicing drum and drive roller are positioned rearwardly of the plow. The drive roller rotating in the second direction is operative to urge the agricultural implement to move in a direction towards the plow.

  • Publication number: 20090223686
Abstract: A soil treatment apparatus has a plurality of tool units that have at least one bracket, at least one plunger tool and at least one stop for the plunger tool. The bracket with an end section on a chassis is driven up and down to pivot about a first pivoting axis. The plunger tool device is linked at another end section of the bracket to pivot about a second pivoting axis. The stop is formed such that plunging is carried out at a predefined plunging angle. To enable faster operating speeds, the first pivoting axis is provided behind the second pivoting axis as seen in a driving direction, and the plunger tool device is linked such that whenever the bracket is pivoted about the first pivoting axis it is subjected to a centrifugal force in a direction toward a position limited by the stop.

  • Patent number: 5038868
Abstract: A cultivation implement which is comprised generally of forward and rear thatching reels which rotate in opposite directions relative to each other under positive drive power from a tow vehicle, such as a tractor. Each reel unit is rotatably disposed in its own carriage or frame, which carriages are hingedly connected to each other and to said tow vehicle. Each carriage rides, when the implement is not in use, on free spinning road wheels. For use, each carriage may be selectively lowered from the non-use, raised, position to a lowered, in-use, position, by actuation of hydraulic means. To assure even and smooth operation of the implement while the reel units are engaging the ground, unique ground engaging members, or skids, are connected to each carriage and positioned relative to each said reel unit so as to be interengaged by the vertical blade members.
