  • Publication number: 20150129261
Abstract: An agricultural tillage implement includes a center frame section having a front frame member extending transverse to a travel direction, a rear frame member extending transverse to the travel direction, and a plurality of longitudinal frame members extending from and attached between the front frame member and the rear frame member. The plurality of longitudinal frame members include a pair of side frame members positioned at respective sides of the center frame section, and a pair of load distribution frame members. A plurality of tillage implements extend downwardly from the center frame section. A pull hitch is directly attached to the front frame member at two attachment locations and extends forward from the center frame section in the travel direction. Each attachment location is aligned with a respective load distribution frame member.

  • Publication number: 20150129250
Abstract: A triple-fold agricultural implement includes a center frame section, and a plurality of wing sections positioned on opposite lateral sides of the center frame section. The plurality of wing sections include an inner wing section, a middle wing section and an outer wing section. Each outer wing section may be folded approximately 180° laterally inward and over a respective middle wing section. Each middle wing section may be folded approximately 180° laterally inward and over a respective inner wing section. Each inner wing section may be folded approximately 90° laterally inward and over the center frame section, whereby each of the plurality of wing sections when in a folded state are in a transport position lying above the center frame section.

  • Patent number: 7331402
Abstract: A device for attaching blades to rings which are integrally connected to a rotating shaft for an agricultural machine. Each ring has several cutouts which can receive, by nesting support feet of flat segments, each segment bearing one or several blades, for mounting the segments to the ring adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction and for configuring the segments into a blade support disc.

  • Patent number: 6484811
Abstract: A mulching unit for a mulching apparatus includes at least one cutting assembly or hammer having a rotatable support element and two cutting elements spaced apart from one another by a predetermined gap that allows debris to pass between the cutting elements, thereby increasing efficiency and enabling higher rotating speeds for sustained amounts of time. The cutting elements include tips that may be formed in one piece with the support element, e.g., a collar, and the tips may be covered with a protective layer of tungsten and/or carbide. Alternatively, the tips themselves can be made from tungsten and/or carbide and physically attached, e.g., by welding, to the collar to form an integral unit. The cutting elements may be mounted on support element halves that can independently rotate on a support rod of the mulching unit.

  • Patent number: 4609049
Abstract: A wheel mounted pull type chassis includes a side hitch bar for securement to a tractor or the like. A reel assembly is journalled for rotation and is situated transversely at the front of the chassis and picks up rocks, stones, dirt, etc. and deposits same on an upwardly and rearwardly inclining slotted apron with the teeth of the pick up bars at the reel passing through the apron teeth and depositing the picked up material into a screening wheel journalled for rotation about a generally horizontal but inclined longitudinal axis so that the wheel is tipped rearwardly from the vertical. The periphery of the wheel is slotted. It is supported upon a pair of spaced apart support wheels one wheel of which is driven and which engage a track around the outer periphery of the wheel. Three equidistantly spaced rear support wheels engage the rear of the periphery of the wheel for added support.

  • Patent number: 4091878
Abstract: An agricultural implement for pulverizing the top layer of the soil. It comprises a positively coupled pair of rollers rolling over the ground at unequal surface speeds so that at least one of the rollers is constantly slipping. A harrow is mounted in front of each roller. The assembly of rollers and harrows is pressed onto the ground by a rod comprising a built-in compression spring, which may be adjustable. Each roller is composed of a set of longitudinal strips mounted on an axle.
