  • Patent number: 11582892
Abstract: Formations to plow the surface layer of a land using modular agricultural implement of drag and respective components. It was developed to attend specific agricultural activities in areas of compatible dimensions and to carry out the overturning of the superficial layer of the soil, leveling, and/or incorporating correctives and fertilizers, as well as reducing compaction to increase porous spaces and increase the permeability and storage of air and water. It is assembled in modules under different forms of assembly, highlighting there are the triangular agricultural formation in three versions, triangle forward, triangle backward, and agricultural formation large triangle, and the agricultural formation in rhombus in two versions, the simple rhombus, and the large rhombus.

  • Patent number: 9848526
Abstract: The selective positioning of row units along a planter tool bar is facilitated by introducing an elongated channel of generally C-shaped cross-sectional configuration intermediate the tool bar and a plurality of row unit head brackets. The channel is welded or otherwise fixed to the tool bar with the open edge of the ā€œCā€ facing away from the tool bar and the head brackets are fixed to the channel by clamping nut and bolt assemblies. The bolts extend through the clamping brackets and engage corresponding clamping nuts. The clamping nuts are positioned within the ā€œCā€ and may be slid along the inner edge of the channel to any preferred position. The bolts are then and tightened fixing the head bracket at the selected at location.

  • Patent number: 6935435
Abstract: A cultivating implement has transversely opposing sub-frames slidably mounted in the main frame of the implement to permit lateral positional adjustment of work implements carried by the sub-frames. The work implements are supported by a mounting apparatus providing a tilt adjustment, a horizontal rotational adjustment, and a transverse spacing adjustment for each respective work implement. A tilt control plate limits the transverse tilting movement of the work implement, while a rotation control plate limits the rotational movement of the work implement in a horizontal plane. A rotatable powered brush attachment can be supported on the sub-frame to provide a gentle cultivating action for the edges of plastic material covering the crop row. A pivot linkage operated through a hydraulic actuator provides simultaneous lateral movement of the opposing sub-frames to affect selective positional adjustment of the work implements. The frame is pivoted to the hitch to offset side hill operation.

  • Patent number: 5787993
Abstract: Many openers are mounted on the lateral tool-bar of a farm implement. For crop and fertilizer change, different spacings along the tool-bar are required for the openers. Multi-position tool-mounting structures are provided, for each opener as required. Each has a pivoting arm, which may be locked in one of several positions. The locked-in position of each arm may be changed manually, and independently of the other tools, upon manually releasing a biassed locking pin. Adjustment to cater to the next application is light, quick, simple, and accurate.

  • Patent number: 5361567
Abstract: A multi-piece tool bar assembly including a main support structure suited for connection to a frame of an agricultural implement and a second support structure selectively attachable in end-to-end abutting relation with the main support structure for extending the effective length of the tool bar assembly. A fastener assembly initially aligns support surfaces on the support structures relative to each other and thereafter maintains such alignment to facilitate movement of one or more row units onto the second support structure. The fastener assembly is arranged wholly within the exterior of the support structures and comprises a guide pin which extends beyond an abutting end of one of the support structures and is accommodated in a close sliding fit relationship within an opening defined at the abutting end of the other support structure. The guide pin and opening are precisely located on the respective support structures to ensure alignment of the support surfaces of the support structures.

  • Patent number: 5063728
Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a row unit for lateral movement relative to a chassis of an agricultural implement. The row unit mounting apparatus includes a laterally extending tool bar assembly supported on a chassis and having a support surface extending between opposite ends thereof. The row unit is supported on the main frame in a manner allowing sliding movement of the row unit along the support surface of the tool bar assembly. The tool bar assembly includes a main frame and an extension frame selectively attachable to a first end of the main frame for easily and conveniently extending the support apparatus to provide additional row unit capacity or to accommodate lateral movement of the row units in a manner facilitating inspection and servicing thereof.

  • Patent number: 4828043
Abstract: A device for adjusting the distance between soil working tools such as plow bodies (5) disposed beside each other and fitted to sleeves (7) movable along a bar (3). Slewing brackets (11, 14, 15) for defining the movements of the sleeves (7) along the bar (3) are arranged articulatedly between the sleeves (7) so that the relative movement between the two outermost sleeves on the bar is a (n-1), where a is the distance of the movement between two adjacent sleeves (7) and n is the number of sleeves. A hydraulic piston-cylinder unit is arranged to provide the motion of the sleeves (7) along the bar (3).

  • Patent number: 4520877
Abstract: A cultivator designed to dig up weeds from between rows of crop. The structure of the cultivator is unified with a laterally extended front bar that carries digging tines that dig up weeds along each side of the row of crop of a number of rows at one time. A rear bar is spaced from and in parallel relationship with the front bar and carries digging tines that dig up weeds down the center of the rows. The structure is mounted to a tractor, and depth controlling wheels, supported on the ground during operation, determine in part the depth of penetration of the tines into the ground.

  • Patent number: 4509603
Abstract: An adjustable cultivator tool holder for attachment to, and use with a multi-row cultivator system, is disclosed. An elongated tool bar is attached to a tractor and carries a plurality of adjustable cultivator tool holders. Each such tool holder, in turn, supports cultivating tools such as plows. The spacing of the plows, with respect to each other, in response to crop row spacing, is accomplished by sliding tool carrying collars or sleeves along frame arms which carry the sleeves. These sleeves can be secured in a desired position by the use of quick change pins or the like. Each tool carrying sleeve and its tool can be completely removed from the tool holder and moved to another frame arm, if desired, to maximize tool wear. A number of different cultivator tools can be secured to the adjustable cultivator tool holder in accordance with the disclosed invention.

  • Patent number: 4298071
Abstract: Closely spaced cultivating tools are mounted along a tool bar and each tool may be locked in a raised position relative to the ground or may be lowered into floating engagement with the ground during use of the implement. A small tool bar is mounted parallel to a larger tool bar and the cultivating tools are slidably clamped on the small tool bar. Improved mounting structure allows each cultivating tool to be mounted on the small tool bar without having to slide each cultivating tool onto or off of the tool bar from the ends of the tool bar and without having to disassemble the mounting structure. The tool bar assembly includes row indicia for indicating where the tools are to be located along the tool bar and which tools should engage the ground and which tools should be raised away from the ground for various cultivating operations on row crops. A tool angling mechanism allows selective adjustment of the angle to the line of draft of each tool without the use of wrenches or other hand tools.
