Abstract: An end wheel assembly for transforming an implement frame from a transport position to a field position is provided. The end wheel assembly can have an end wheel, a wheel pivot rotatably connected to the end wheel, a wheel member pivotally connected to the wheel pivot, at least one attachment bracket attached to the wheel member and pivotally attachable to the implement frame, a wheel actuator to raise and lower the end wheel assembly, and a guide plate. The guide plate can have a channel, a first end connected to the wheel member, and a second end connected to the wheel pivot. The channel can be positioned to receive a positioning member when the end wheel assembly is pivoted downwards and to rotate the guide plate causing the wheel pivot and end wheel to rotate relative to the wheel member and turn the end wheel outwards.
Abstract: A transplant machine including a bucket for digging a plant such as trees and shrubs from the ground, a main frame for pivotably supporting the bucket, an arm for lifting the main frame, a shaft extending from the main frame at right angles and an intermediate frame for connecting the main frame with the lifting arm such that the frame can rotate about the shaft relative to the lifting arm. The frame and the bucket rotate together. As the main frame rotates about the shaft, the bucket rotate with the main frame. Therefore, the transplant machine can change a direction of the a tree after a digging operation. In other words, it is possible to turn the tree while the bucket is holding the tree above the ground. During the turning of the tree, the lifting arm (or a main body of the transplant apparatus) is stopped since the intermediate frame allows the main frame and the bucket to rotate relative to the lifting arm. The bucket may be removable from the lifting arm.

Abstract: A horizontal bi-fold toolbar which has two outer sections pivotally mounted at each end of a central main section so that the two outer sections can be folded in a horizontal plane to reduce the width to approximately one-half that of the fully extended toolbar. When folded, the toolbar can be easily transported on roads and highways, but more importantly, when folded the toolbar provides a tandem arrangement which can be used for narrow row planting and other agricultural functions.
Abstract: A planting implement which includes an elongated support beam for carrying a plurality of spaced planting units thereon. The support beam also includes a plurality of rearwardly pivotable segments arranged so that a closed framework structure may be constructed by pivoting and interconnecting the rearwardly pivotal segments. The closed framework structure includes a forward side containing a portion of the planting units and a generally parallel, rearward side containing the remaining planting units. The spacing of the rearward side planting units is offset from that of the forward side units, approximately one-half of the distance of the planting units. This results in equally spaced rows of approximately one-half the distance between the planting units.
Abstract: A plurality of conventional grain drills or other agricultural implements are arranged in a staggered transverse pattern within individual peripheral frameworks. The frameworks are pivoted to one another about longitudinal axes. They are adjustably supported for rolling ground engagement by hydraulically controlled wheel assemblies. Separate hitch tongues are provided at the center of the arrangement for field use, and at one end of the arrangment for travel purposes. The wheels on the framework are adapted to assist in supporting the conventional implements during field use, and are arranged transversely to support the implements in an elevated condition during road travel. A provision is made for use of a single implement with minimum disruption of hitch combination.
