To Present Different Working Portion Patents (Class 172/735)
  • Patent number: 6851484
Abstract: A novel and practical track-filling apparatus for smoothing rutted soil formed by the repeated passage of wheels. This apparatus includes a frame, a system for attaching the frame to a tractor, and a soil moving blade assembly mounted to the frame. This blade assembly has laterally disposed and spaced apart left and right blades. A system for adjusting the included blade angle between these blades is also provided. This system for adjusting includes a single blade adjusting hydraulic ram that is operatively connected to the blades via a novel yet simple and reliable linkage assembly. Additionally, systems for lifting and tilting the apparatus optimizes operation of this track-filling apparatus over irregular and differing terrain.

  • Patent number: 5248000
Abstract: A harrowing device for harrowing a ground surface includes a haulable frame. A plurality of blade holders are secured to the frame, and extend downward from the frame. The blade holder has a cavity, a pair of holes, a pair of inclined interior face in the cavity. The inclined interior faces are arranged so as to become close to each other the further away from the holes. A plurality of blades are fitted to the blade holder, each blade having a shank inserted into the cavity and a blade portion for harrowing the ground. The shank has a pair of holes corresponding to the holes of the blade holder, and a protrusion for contacting the inclined interior faces. A pin is inserted into the holes of the blade holder and the shank to pivotably support the blade.

  • Patent number: 4871027
Abstract: A vibratory plow including a cutter assembly which slices the ground covering and breaks the sod ahead of the cable-laying plow blade. The plow assembly includes a blade holder that is pivotally mounted to a vibrator frame. A mounting member attaches the cutting blade of the cutter assembly to the blade holder. The cutting blade is polygonal in shape and includes a plurality of mounting holes located in polygonal patterns. The mounting member includes a complementary set of mounting holes also arranged in a polygonal pattern. The present construction permits the cutting blade to be moved to a plurality of cutting positions rather than replacing the cutter after a cutting edge is worn.

  • Patent number: 4671363
Abstract: A plow moldboard made of a plurality of sections which are reversible and interchangeable so that each moldboard section can alternatively serve as the leading edge of the moldboard in two different positions. Each section has substantially parallel top and bottom edges and substantially parallel side edges. Each section has a uniform curvature and also has two apertures for receiving a bolt therethrough and for fastening upon the plow frame.

  • Patent number: 4119158
Abstract: A plough having a share with an accompanying tip that is removably secured on the bottom front portion of the share. The tip is so constructed and arranged that it is adjustable on the plough share so that the extent of life of use of the tip can be significantly increased. Thus, the maximum use of a plough share tip may be effectuated.

  • Patent number: 4086967
Abstract: An end bit for selective and adjustable mounting to an earthmoving vehicle structure, such as a bulldozer blade, having opposite corner portions. The bit includes transversely extending cutting edge portions and a mounting portion adapted to be selectively mounted to either of the opposite corners of the blade with one or the other of the cutting edges exposed in cutting position and with the nonexposed cutting edge disposed in a retracted position. The mounting portion is further adapted to permit the bit to be selectively repositioned on either blade corner portion in any one of a plurality of different extended positions to compensate for wear of the exposed cutting edge.

  • Patent number: 4079789
Abstract: An earth-working tool has mounting means at one end for attachment of the tool to the frame of an agricultural implement, a tool blade down the forward edge of the tool and attachment means at the other end of the tool for securing a tool point. The mounting means is so arranged that the tool may be attached to the frame in such a manner that the tool blade will form a rearward angle, from the top end to the other end, in relation to a line normal to the direction of forward movement which the tool will take during use, with the result that soil tilled by the tool point will be prevented from rising to the surface by the action of the rearwardly directed tool blade. Ideally the tool may be mounted so that the tool blade will be forwardly directed, either by reversing the tool or by providing alternative mounting holes for mounting the tool to an agricultural implement.

  • Patent number: 4062410
Abstract: A plow bottom is pivotally connected to the stub beam on a substantially vertical axis and yieldable biasing devices are provided which permit the moldboard to pivot about the axis as plowing speed is increased. Both mechanical and fluid biasing devices are disclosed together with an additional embodiment wherein a hydraulic actuator under the control of the operator is used to pivotally adjust the plow bottom.
