Abstract: A cylinder mounting arrangement for a folding implement includes reversible L-shaped plates supporting an auxiliary tube above a transverse tool supporting beam. The attaching location on the beam can be changed to avoid interference with the desired tool spacing by reversing the plates. The same plates and auxiliary tubes can be used on a number of different implements and with different main frame widths to reduce manufacturing costs and the number of parts that have to be stocked. The reversible plates can be selectively mounted on the main frame with the plates inside or outside of the fore-and-aft tubes connected to the transversely extending tube, depending on the tool placement on the main frame. Therefore, a wide variety of tool spacings can be accommodated in the region under the tube and between the fore-and-aft tubes.
Abstract: Integral hitch and standard mounting structure for a toolbar includes a first embodiment having a hitch tube connected to a three point hitch and to a rear toolbar. Brackets located a substantial distance outwardly of the hitch connect the hitch tube to the toolbar in parallel, rearwardly offset relationship to provide sufficient space between the tube and toolbar for lateral adjustment of tool brackets. Upright plate structure fixed relative to the front face of the toolbar has slotted extensions which project above and below the toolbar. Tool standard mounting bracket structure includes an upper L-shaped member having a horizontal leg positioned against the top of the toolbar and an upstanding bolt-receiving leg positioned against the upper slotted extension. A lower L-shaped member having a downturned bolt-receiving leg is fixed to the top of the tool standard and is positioned against the bottom of the toolbar and against the lower slotted extension.
Abstract: This invention relates to an improved scraper assembly for the discs of ground tillage implements which is characterized by a mounting bracket fastenable onto the implement frame, an inverted generally L-shaped hanger subassembly carried by the mounting bracket for pendulous pivotal movement about an axis defined by the horizontally-disposed leg of said subassembly, a blade-carrying shaft mounted for rotational movement in the downwardly-opening vertically-disposed leg of the L-shaped subassembly, the latter element defining a self-cleaning housing therefor, biasing means connected between the bracket and hanger subassembly normally biasing the scraper blade housed therein against the concave face of the adjacent disc, an oversize annular groove in the shaft to which the blade is attached located inside the housing defined by the downwardly-opening tubular element of the hanger subassembly, a pin carried by said tubular element in tangential relation to the bottom of the annular groove within the shaft, and a

Abstract: A five, six, or seven bottom two-way reversible moldboard plow is made to be attached by a standard three-point hitch on a tractor and lifted by the hitch without the aid of a trailing wheel. This is accomplished by mounting the plow as far forward as possible so the first plow is well forward of the bearing. Also, an improved brace is placed upon the side plates supporting the plow shank.
