Motor Exhaust Throttled Patents (Class 173/69)
  • Patent number: 10661429
Abstract: A pneumatic tool with changeable exhaust direction includes a tool main body and a direction change assembly. The tool main body includes a housing portion having a first exhaust channel. The direction change assembly includes an air guidance member and an adjustment member. The air guidance member is mounted onto the housing portion, and a second exhaust channel is formed with the air guidance member. The adjustment member is installed with a sealing ring. The adjustment member generates an axial movement relative to the air guidance member and along a first axis to move away from the air guidance member in order to open the second exhaust channel or to allow the sealing member to abut against the air guidance member in order to close the second exhaust channel. Accordingly, the exhaust direction is adjustable during the use of the pneumatic tool in order to facilitate different processing operations.

  • Patent number: 4526239
Abstract: An underwater hydraulic tool has a hydraulic motor with an inlet port and an outlet port for receiving and discharging water under pressure and a rotating shaft rotated by water under pressure with the front end protruding from said motor for holding a working tool. A rear mounting member is attached to a rear part of the hydraulic motor and has openings spaced circumferentially therearound. A front mounting member is attached to a front part of the hydraulic motor and also openings spaced circumferentially therearound. At least portions of the openings in both members are located outwards of the outer circumferential wall of the hydraulic motor.

  • Patent number: 4105080
Abstract: The air hammer is adapted to be connected to a source of pressurized air and has an exhaust passage means controlled by a settable exhaust valve. Reciprocation of the hammer is controlled by an automatic valve when the hammer is active. The exhaust passage means and exhaust valve are arranged so that in a first set position of the exhaust valve, it renders the hammer operative by the pressurized live air under the control of the automatic valve, and in a second set position of the exhaust valve, it renders the hammer inoperative by the pressurized live air. Further, in said second position of the exhaust valve, it admits live air from said source to the tool continuously in sufficient volume to blow out of a hole, in which the tool is operating, particulate matter theretofore produced in the hole by the tool. In the first position, the exhaust valve stops the flow of live blow-out air to the tool.
